Great Mexican food and margaritas. The margaritas are made fresh, and the house margs have many flavors to choose from. I recommend the spicy and the mango. We like to go for Taco Tuesday because they have good value on tacos that night. We did notice they are smaller in size, than when you order a regular taco plate. The service is also great. We like to sit at the bar, but the dining room and upstairs patio are also nice. They have a brunch menu on Sundays.

I'm not trying to trash this place.... BUT the food is not good. I ordered Carne Asada, Pollo, and a vegan taco. None of them had ANY flavor. The vegan one was just sad... tasted like literally nothing, just wet, mushy cauliflower, potato, and I'm assuming it was a mushroom. The Carne Asada taco tasted like dog food. The steak was very overcooked, dry, bland, and had zero flavor, just a rubbery piece of dog food. The Pollo, it just wasn't good. I'll leave it at that. The ambiance and service were fine, with no issues with either.

This is a casual spot for Mexican fare, and they serve decent food at a decent price. I lime that they offer brunch on a daily basis so you can have eggs and things well into the afternoon.I was surprised however that the hefty menu they gave us is comprised of 3 pages dedicated to food, and about 6 pages double sided, dedicated to alcohol. Not that im against alcohol, I enjoy it from time to time. But, this made the whole experience seem, oh how shall I put it...out of balance. The 4 stars for the ambiance is a critique of the music they play throughout. It is better suited for a Pub which might explain the emphasis on alcohol in the menu.

The food at Palenque Cocina Y Agaveria tasted so unbelievably good. Even the rice that came with my fajita combo had more flavor that I’ve ever experienced in a restaurant. The menu clearly marks which dishes are gluten-free. Yay! This place is amazing. Will be back. You should try it, too!

Had the carne asada food was good the chips and salsa flight was decent and the atmosphere was good. Server was friendly only reason I didn't rate it higher was because there was zero spice to any of the salsas or food all was very mild. Also there was no parking had to park a few blocks away.

Great food with authentic flavors! Didn't enjoy where we were seated off the kitchen, and service was very rushed. Understandable for a busy Saturday night, and it won't keep us from returning. Wonderful meal and really enjoyed the mezcarita, too!

Came in on a Saturday night and was seated for 2 within 10 minutes. We were seated at the upper level which was shaded but outdoors so it was refreshing! The service from the get go was great! Upon the waitress noticing some excess food on a menu, she apologized and provided us a new one with ease. The food here was extraordinary! Palenque touts Michoacan style Mexican food and it doesn't disappoint! The house mole was extremely savory and the birria tacos where done to perfection! I also ordered a chile relleno to sample the kind of cheese they use, and it was what I believe to be an exquisite Oaxacan style cheese. I absolutely will be coming back sometime to rate the margaritas!
