Walked in here at random and on a Monday night so place was pretty quiet. Very large space with a ton of tables, pool tables on the other side and a few games. TV screens are literally everywhere so if you want to watch a sports game this would be the place. Ordered BBQ wings and overall good with a good selection of tap beer. Bartender was nice, I overheard they recently changed ownership and will undergo some renovations.

Second time coming here and I must say I’m quite impressed! After readying a slew of bad reviews I must say I don’t quite understand the reviews. Perhaps they were caught on a bad days, which we all know happens or they are successfully rebranding. Here’s my experiences: Both times coming in they ask you to please seat yourself in the bar area. Maybe the lack of service was due to patrons not properly reading the signs and following basic orders? I asked to move to the dining/game area and was still served immediately (I’m lgbtqia+ with a baby 😉) I was promptly greeted by another server and brought a water. Let me tell you, I’m a Colorado native and only the fancy restaurants offer that level of service out here. Pleasant surprise to say the least! I ordered the jalapeño burger, garlic cheese curds and side salad. They actually staged my order to get apps and salad out first. Great Front of house training, bravo from an industry worker. The portions were huge and everything was under $40 including the beers. The food is surprisingly tasty for a sports bar. My only critique is that the burgers are a tad over done for a medium cook but still, juicy, fresh ingredients and made-in-house ranch and 1000 island. For being a family sports bar they are amazingly clean, bathrooms, floor, booths, and Game Center is very well sanitized and kept in great order. It’s a quiet place and I’d love to see more people with kids check it out. Most sports bars and grills have judgmental staff and patrons when you come in with a young child but here they make you feel right at home. Definitely will be returning! Thanks for some great experiences!

Pleasant atmosphere, good deals on giant beer mugs, and a wide selection. We enjoyed our time here and will definitely go again! Our waitress was fantastic.

All around excellent. Much better food than you might expect from a sports bar. I got the pasta and it was top notch. My partner got the Philly sandwich and while not traditional at all was superb. Staff are friendly and good at their jobs. Only knock I have on the place is if you sit on the side of the room with the games it tends to be very loud and hard to have a conversation. The other side of the room by the entrance is much more manageable volume.

Horrible service. I was there on a weekday evening. It was dead. Maybe 20 people in the whole place. I waited 10 min at the bar. Bartender passed me several times with blinders then went to chat with his buddies off to the side. Another patron called him over for me. Sweet lady. On the plus side, the 20oz beer was only $5. I wanted to tip 50 cents. Then I went to play pool. A guy came to asked me what I wanted at some point. I said Diet Coke. I didn’t see him again until I was leaving. He was hanging out with the guys playing video games. I left. I was mad at that point. So if you want cheap beer, come here. If you care about service, run.

My friends and I visited Grey Rock tonight to enjoy the Nuggets and Lakers game. I was seated in a booth in the bar area and ordered appetizers and food which were great. The issue was my server who's name was "C". He seemed disoriented or possibly impaired. He was constantly burping on us when taking our orders and on our food when he was giving it to us. Everything else was a 10/10 some of the best bar food around. I would give it a 5 star if this hadn't been my experience with the server.

Grey Rock was the dining destination for lunch on our Ft. Collins restaurant tour at the high school reunion. Great choice! There was plenty of room for our large party. The atmosphere is classic sports bar with so many tasty choices on the menu. The Cali Club and the Chipotle Turkey Wrap were both quite delicious. The service was warm and friendly.

The place has a great atmosphere. Food is great. I had the garlic cheese curds and steak sandwich. Both were delicious. I highly recommend both. I also had the giant cookie with ice cream. Now you ask, why only 4 stars, if everything was awesome. Well almost everything was awesome. Two exceptions 1) I went to the restroom, came back, my drink and food was gone. 2) I asked for an extra scoop of ice cream with my cookie, only got one scoop. Before I forget, my waitress Alexandra was awesome.

We went there for the first time last night. My band was playing and we were celebrating my kid's 21st birthday. It was the perfect atmosphere. The server and the bartender were so good and so fun to be around. I would absolutely go back. Thank you for making such a memorable night for my 21 year old and my family.

Just had lunch from here. Got the patty melt with fries and the carrot cake for dessert. I didn't too much care for their fries but the patty melt was good! I love quality bread and meat and that's what I got and could taste it. Also the carrot cake was so delicious and moist good taste just what I was craving. Will be back next time I want a quick good lunch

So much potential, but a horrid experience! Horrible service, got most of our order wrong. The server should not get stoned before work! The food was disappointing. Cold fries, the blue cheese buffalo burger had one SMALL piece of blue cheese melted on it, small amount of buffalo sauce. All of the lettuce on every plate was old and limp. Go for the great beer deal, sit at the bar, and don't order food!

Got delivery from here once and it was pretty good. However, I went to the restaurant recently with 5 others. Was told by a hostess to sit anywhere and they'd bring over menus etc. Sat for about 15 mins and no one came over. Asked the bartender for some menus. He handed me two and walked away without saying a word. Made awkward eye contact with a server who smiled at me then quite literally turned and walked the other direction. Wandered up to the hostess stand and waited for another 5-10 minutes and still no one came to our table. Another 6ish sized group came in and were given waters and menus while we all watched. Honestly, if I wasn't in the service industry myself, I probably would have left way sooner, but I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt... but no, 25-30 minutes and no service to be had. Too bad because we were hungry and would have tipped well! Can't imagine going back.

If I weren't a breastfeeding mom eating for the first time that day (aprox 7:30 p.m.) and had just taken my fast acting insulin, I would have ordered something else or just left. Not wanting to trigger my other special needs kiddo (doesn't do well with sudden change) to boot. I'm leaving this review instead. My waitress was great, I tipped 20% from the original price. It's not her fault the food was subpar. It seemed like the 3 ppl (not sure if one was a server) were too busy socializing to actually care about the work they were there to do. I'd say there were about 10 patrons in the bar, including us 3 and 4 if you include my infant. One other table, a single person ordered food at the same time.. at least that's what I could tell from where we were sitting were sitting, which gave me a good view. The pickle fries were great! They were nice and hot and very yummy. I ordered the all-American burger medium with extra mushrooms and curly fries. My fries were ice cold when they came, chewy and stale, i can't even feel comfortable saying they sat under a warmer . I set those aside and let the waitress know. My mushrooms were very cold and dried out, and the burger was not medium and dry as ever. Tomatoes were kind of chewy. Im so bummed, I've passed this place often for the past two years and finally decided to try it. I can't speak for anyone elses food, but I do have some concerns about the safe handling of food here. I hate that I felt stuck having to eat here because of my health condition. The space was big and nice and seemed clean. As an event host, I'm always on the lookout for venues and was pretty excited to see what I thought might be a hidden gem. I truly hope the owner gives staff a pep talk or hires better help because this was simply awful in terms of food quality and albeit food safety.

Sports bar with a variety of options, not many vegetarian options. But, overall, the food is pretty good. Service has always been a lil hit or miss, but we still go back when we want a low key easy meal with ALL the games on big screens.

Terrible service tonight and the food was mediocre. We had to get up and get our own menus from the front. Waitress rarely came to the table and when she did I asked for more apple juice for my one year old because he spilled his on the floor, I was told I’d be charged for another one. Sat waiting for her to come back so we could get silverware to eat with after receiving our food a good ten minutes or so. Got up to get our own napkins. We were charged wrong for our meals. Ordered two Buffalo blue burgers for the Thursday night special and was charged full price for two chicken sandwiches (didn’t order or receive that), price was adjusted after pointing it out. I’m not sure how two burgers (Bogo $3) and two appetizers, a kids juice was $76? Wife’s lettuce on her burger was pink on the stalk because it was turning bad. Not going back.

OVERPRICED FOOD AT THE SAME QUALITY AS 2008 CASA BONITA. I would rate this place 0/5 stars. I was a cook here and lemme tell you most of the other cooks are not with the program (AKA Craig). I found 4 week old expired au jus sauce that was completely covered in mold. NEVER EAT THE FRENCH DIP! I saw other cooks serve that au jus until I actually looked at it myself and threw it away. The walk-in needs to be replaced due to the rusty, disgusting, grease covered floor. Now I don't just wanna bash this place because off my personal experience so ill give some good comments. The environment is nice if you wanna watch the game and drink. The front of the house staff are really nice and actually know what good service is (usually). Just be careful what you eat! They make in house ranch which is actually fire! The pizza, nachos, chicken tenders, or anything pre cooked and frozen (fish, fries, cheese curds, etc.) are your best bet if you do NOT want to get food poisoning due to the incompetence of most of the cooks.

If you go there, try the Fish and Chips. The breading is very thin and the fish (Cod) is moist and done perfectly. It comes with French Fries and ColeSlaw. The best I have had in a while.

Nice place to relax but service and atmosphere have gone down since the new owners took over and changed the name. Though they have excellent prices on food, and after hours drink specials!

Went on a Tuesday night, first time going as I'm new to FC. Cheap happy hour drinks, family friendly, lively but not crazy atmosphere, good food and great friendly service. The staff was working together efficiently and doing a great job, nice to see. Made me feel at home! Will be back for happy hour again. Fish and chips were on point! Fresh hot and tasty, great tartar sauce and plenty of lemon wedges. Potato skins were just OK but I'm really picky about those.

We have visited Grey Rock multiple times for their Friday fresh fish and chips . In the past, it was good. Last night, it was terrible. You are supposed to get 3 pieces of fish. I got one piece so over cooked the fish was like jerky. And I got three potato chip like pieces of fried batter with no fish inside at all. You can see the holes through the chip in the attached picture. I complained to the waitress. She brought out one piece of properly cooked fish. Yet they charged us full price. I asked for and complained to the manager. He said he would watch what they were serving more, but did not offer a refund or any compensation.

Took the family for dinner: fish and chips, Popeyes salad. The quality of the food was Poor. We could not finish our meals. The kids sliders and pizza were ok. Quality was better with prior ownership. Will not return.

Grey Rock Sports grill is the best place to watch sports in south Fort Collins. Many TV's allow everyone in the place to see their own game. Good food and reasonably drinks round out the experience.

Great burgers and a good selection of beers and full bar. Might wantbto avoid Trivia night on Wednesday's if you want a quieter dinner. But, it is pretty entertaining to watch.

Food was ok, drinks were few and far between. Had great service until they were "overstaffed",and sent our waitress home. Good problem to have, we thought. Next server was still kind, but we waited for ever to get service especially when it got busy again, lol who knew a sports grill on football Sunday, might pick back up. Anyways we would have spent more if we continued to have had to same service upon arrival.

We walked in at 5ish with 20 people for a impromptu work goodbye. At first, they were a bit hesitant but the seating was plentiful so they pushed tables together and happily began to serve us on Happy Hour and even when we asked for separate checks!! How are waitress was able to still be pleasant is beyond me. I just wish I had gotten her name! Oh yeah and they had lots of drink options and a rare microbrew on tap. The appetizers came out hot and tasty. I just can't say enough great things about this Sports Bar! Go Avs,, Go Go Go, it is worth your hard earned money, I promise!

We went with myself my husband and my two kids. We went when there was an avalanche game on but we arrived well before the game started. We were the one of two couples sitting on the other side of the wall. I’m not sure of our waitresses name but she had red hair. She was not a very good waitress, our table was low on her radar and then it got busy for the game. She waited many tables before ours that got there after us. We had to track her down every time we needed her to come to our table. She did not get a very generous tip. And I didn’t like how she watched me give her the tip on the iPad and when I gave it back to her she replies with” oh no did I do something wrong” I told her that we didn’t get good service. She tried to blame it on being busy. But like I said we got there before the rush and we’re last on her radar. Not a good experience with service, food was average

Easy going sports bar with lots of tv's. Very friendly and efficient service. Really great for what it is, particularly because there is nothing quite like it near here. It is not a cocktail bar or a restaurant. Stick to basic drinks and fried food and you can't go wrong.

  • 5/5 Joel A. 1 year ago on Google
The space is HUGE. They have enough screens to show all of the football games on Sunday. Separate bar and dining room areas. Lots of pinball machines, some pool tables and darts - cool! Tap selection is decent but not unique. Food is good!

  • 5/5 Marisa E. 2 years ago on Google
First time coming here since the name changed and we love it!! We had the sampler and everything was delicious and the outdoor seating with the TV so you can still watch games was great!! Also my two year old literally stole one of the red plastic coca-cola cups and I am so sorry, we’ll bring it with us next time we’re in town!! Thanks for every thing and being so nice and helpful the entire time, great people, great experience!! I wish I could remember the name of the man with the beard that helped us, he was so joyful I bet he could put anyone in a good mood!

Nice waitress, drinks were fine. Food was tasty and reasonably priced. It's the atmosphere that might need an update. I felt like I was in an 80's college hangout. I did play pool, which was a good way to spend time between dinner and a movie. I just wish it didn't seem like such a time warp.

Gave it another try after a bad experience about 3 years ago. Thought the re branding would show some improvements, we were wrong. Nachos were cold, and soggy, obviously sat awhile before being served. Pizza was not good, soggy and over sauced. Same as 3 years ago. New name same bad food. For sure will not be returning. Also had to go outside in 20 degree weather to use fancy outhouse.
