As a first time visitor to Denver, and Colorado, this was the perfect tour. Incredible tour guide who is so knowledgeable, full of many interesting facts and history. This was a perfect half day tour with plenty of time to visit the main spots and lots of photo stops. 5/5, I would highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting a visit to the mountains.

What a great experience, I had been searching for a tour through the Rockies without having to drive and I am glad I found this company. Phil was our guide and he was amazing. We saw so many beautiful sights and pretty much all of the wildlife, we even saw a black bear run across the road and basically jump over the rock formation on the edge of the road, what a great time we had, I would recommend this tour to anyone who would rather let someone else do the driving so you can experience the Rockies in full.

We had a great time with the Colorado sightseer. Our driver and tour guide arrived on time at the pick-up site, and it was a day of fun and adventure. He explained what we were seeing and was able to navigate the roads very well. I always felt safe. The tour started at Union Station with a shuttle that took us to the Rocky mountains / Rocky Mountain National Park, where we crossed a frozen Lake, saw a frozen waterfall, enjoyed the mountains, stopped for lunch, and at the Stanley hotel. We even saw some elk, and we were able to do some shopping. I think the area was called Estes. It was just an all-around good time. I would definitely use them again.

The tour guide Alex is very knowledgeable about this area and greatly enhanced the experience by pointing out and telling us various facts about the history of the places on the tour. Things that most people wouldn’t know just by touring on your own. It’s well worth taking this tour even if you live in the area and can see it at your leisure for those reasons. This was my experience with this particular guide who seemed to really like his job and educating people about Colorado. I took a few photos and videos but I can’t really do it justice because I’m not an avid photographer and it’s hard for me to really capture the beauty and the importance of having a guide like this to explain things.

My husband and I booked the #4 Rocky Mountain National Park (Winter-Spring) in January and had a great time! Our guide, Phil, had plenty of interesting information about Denver, Boulder, and Estes Park which he shared on our way to the Rockies and then gave us more information while we enjoyed the stops and views within the park itself. He gave us a good lunch recommendation in Estes Park and drove on the wintery roads very well. The tour is a great way to learn about the area and get to some terrific sightseeing spots!

An absolutely amazing tour! Our tour guide, Will, was the best. So knowledgeable and personable, he made the tour 100x better. Which was a high bar since the views were out of this world beautiful. Highly highly recommend Colorado Sightseer’s Rocky Mountain National Park and Estes Park full day tour!!

Amazing time and sights. Cowboy Frank was our guide. He was extremely accommodating, knew so much about the state and kept things interesting. There is plenty of time to see everything with the group and go off on your own in Breckenridge. I would definitely recommend! We were back in the city by 4:30p and that's WUTH some unforeseen traffic. It was a great time!

COLORADO SIGHTSEER SHOULD BE ACTIVITY #1 I purchased the Ultimate Tour. It was my first time in Colorado, during my birthday weekend and I wanted to make sure that nature was my birthday gift. I traveled with my 8 year old. And she loved, loved, loved the tour. WHAT'S YOUR EXPERIENCE? Let me begin by saying that I had taken this tour in December 2020! And TripAdvisor keeps reminding me to write a review. So hear I am. And you know what, I should have written this review with  light speed.  Even to this day when friends visit, I recommend this tour because it is the best welcome party into Denver. HIGHLIGHTS 5 STARS Extraordinary tour guide Well coordinated activities Easy online reservation More than reasonable price Comfortable transportation Crampons were provided Soupz On pit stop "Wherever you go, go with all your heart." #JUKEN123 #coloradosightseer #rockymountains #celebrateindenver #soupzon

The full day tour we took with Emily was a great way to explore the Rocky Mountain National Park! Emily was fun, engaging, knowledgeable, beautiful person overall, definitely one of the best guides our family has traveled with! And we were blessed with a beautiful day so the scenery/mountains were just gorgeous. The group we traveled with (12 of us) was made up of really nice folks so that was a bonus! Highly recommend this tour.

Emily was AMAZING!! Incredibly knowledgeable and fun spirited. Made plenty of stops for photo ops, and had a great lunch at Lake Irene. Emily was a very safe driver, and made sure to spend enough time at each spot, without rushing. This was such a cool experience, and I couldn't imagine a better was to take in the beauty of the mountains!

Kristen was great! Informative, entertaining and offered up great recommendations for other aspects of our trip! We found the Colorado Sightseer after our other guide canceled on us last minute, but we ended up being better off and I would highly recommend their guided tours as a first option! We will be back to partake in additional tours our next time in Denver!

Great time at the Rocky Mountains. Highly recommended. First time for us at any national park, not big mountain folks or used to hiking or anything, so this was a nice way to see the mountains and all their beauty up close. Great, interesting info, delivered with a nice balance of talking and being quiet to allow folks to enjoy the experience (by our tour guide, Alex, in one of the photos during one of the stops). A few stops, not too many but enough. Great chances for amazing images to bring back home. Glad we did this, and while of course I do not know about all others, I am glad we did it with these folks. (Extra credit to the person on the phone, as I called a few days prior to ask a bunch of questions and my call was received with great respect, time to listen and provide good info as well, clear and friendly too). Nice job, well deserved review.

Great full-day tour into Rocky Mountain National Park from downtown Denver. Our guide, Kristina, was very informative and hospitable. The picnic lunch was excellent! Numerous amazing scenic stops throughout the tour with wonderful back stories shared from the local guide. Highly recommended!

Great experience! I booked the half-day "Red Rocks, Evergreen, Echo Lake" tour last-minute, to end my work trip in Denver with a chance to get a taste of the Rocky Mountains. The trip was very informative, the guide had infinite stories and we got to see some great views. If you're limited in time: this half-day tour is a perfect choice!

Our driver/guide Alex was AWESOME! Pick up was on time, the vehicle was very nice. He was engaging, knowledgeable, safe, funny, and just very personable!! Total group size of 11 but we were 4 Emergency Room Nurses from Illinois in Denver for a nursing conference. This 1/2 day trip was perfect and allowed us to relax, breathe and enjoy the scenery. Our day was beautiful, the time at the sights was perfect - although the Red Rocks time was cut short because of a performers requests not the tours fault. We were blessed to see amazing colors of the Aspens, an AMAZING Elk pack sighting with a HUGE male calling his girls and a lot more. The Little Bear bar in Evergreen was super fun. A live band was playing on a Sunday afternoon it was great!

Booked last minute & so glad I did. Phil was an excellent guide giving us a great history lesson & sharing good local knowledge. I also had lots of questions which he was happy to answer (thank you!) The tour group was small so everyone was included in conversations, taking photos etc. Great day out exploring, Red Rock Amphitheater, Idaho Springs, Loveland Pass, Breckenridge with troll stop👍🏻 & Georgetown.

The tour was awesome, Alex was a knowledgeable guide and he was fun. The sandwich they gave us was the best, I loved it :P. Although they didn't take us to any lake and I wanted to go to the grand lake. I took so many pictures and Overall trip was really good and I would recommend Colorado sightseer to others.

We took the half day trip to Red Rocks, Echo Lake, and Evergreen. Cowboy Frank was very knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. This was a great way to see the sites and enjoy the scenery while someone else drove! I would definitely recommend this tour and this company.

I had the best tour ever with tour guide Phil! Red rocks and then on to to many beautiful spots! Loveland, Idaho Springs, Continental Divide and up to Breckenridge! He has so much knowledge re: history and flora and fauna and he answered so many questions from our group. It was a fabulous day of exploring the magic of Colorado! Thank you Philip!

Half day lake echo/red rocks/evergreen. Easy to schedule. Clear communication pre trip. Meeting location obvious. Definitely expect curvy, mountain roads. Consider motion sickness medication and oxygen to prevent altitude sickness. Locations were gorgeous, but felt pretty rushed. Only about 30 min or less at each stop - not long enough to truly sit and enjoy. Low intensity in regards to physical activity, but still got pretty out of breath due to altitude.

Cowboy Frank Sanford was a great tour guide. Very good driver and always made the trip interesting. Great locally-made sandwiches for our lunch stop. Can't say enough about Cowboy Frank being kind & helpful to all... Highly recommend this tour! One suggestion would be to add in a stop at Estes Park, for shopping... Thanks for a wonderful day, that we'll always remember! Larry & Bonnie (08-17-2023)

Colorado Sightseer was such an incredible way to spend a day getting away from the city and into nature. We did the half-day tour to Red Rocks, Echo Lake, and the town of Evergreen with Phil and it blew me away! Phil was an extraordinary and super nice guide – providing plenty of information and history about each place to keep things interesting, was willing to take photos of you in front of the breathtaking sights, and had many of recommendations of what to do at each stop. The ride was comfortable and snacks and water refills were available upon request. Highly recommend taking a half day to see beautiful Colorado with this company!

We had the best experience with this tour company. Kristin was the best tour guide from start to finish. She knows the area and was so fun. The lunch was great that comes with the tour. We saw lots of wildlife and the views were amazing. This was our first time in Colorado and this was the best experience all week. I would love to do another tour with this company.
