Denver health care has completely changed FOR THE BETTER! I've never felt so cared for by any hospital or clinic. Yes sometimes the front desk ladies are rude as heck but the couple Doctors and ultrasound techs in the Woman's Care Clinic are phenomenal. They have called to check on me each week with out any suggestion. From the moment I needed them they have been there for me with NON-judgmental care. Yes they are the # 1 trauma center but have since proved to be more than that. I sincerely hope that they continue to "show up" each day like they have these past 6 weeks! Keep up the great work and thank you for making me feel as though I'm really cared for. All of this comes from a place where I hated Denver health from horrible past experiences, so much so that I made sure I had my baby at another hospital in Denver. I decided to give them another chance with my care and so far I am happy I did. **Edit the front desk staff are horrible especially the ones that are supposed to set you up appointments she wrote it on her hand that I needed a 3-week follow-up and said that she would just call me back or just schedule it and I'll see it in my chart while she never did that it's imperative for me to have that 3 week checkup it's already been a week since and no new information. Please train front desk to handle appointment scheduling better and please work on their attitude they've always had poor attitudes.

I want to explain that I have NEVER left a review online but felt this one is needed because of the lack of transparency and respect that Denver Health has shown my loved one from the moment the appointment was made to the end of the last appointment. I have been an RN for 22 years and can not believe what we have encountered. Patients have the right to refuse pictures and video taken of them and can also refuse to have medical students involved in their care. My loved one had an awful experience many years ago at another hospital and she needed to feel safe, especially since this surgery required general anesthesia. The more questions we asked, the more irritated the doctors and nurses became. We were finally told in a rude and condescending manner by a resident physician, "we are a teaching hospital so you will have to get your surgery at another facility." We were never allowed to speak to the attending physician. We now have Kaiser and it's a HUGE difference to the Denver Health insurance. Kaiser doctors cared and understood her situation and were willing and able to show my loved one respect and patient autonomy and made her feel safe and heard.

For the first time in years, my pain was taken seriously! Dr. Khalighi went above and beyond to get me resources, talk to FOUR other doctors who specialize in pain and get me an urgent referral to address my issues. She was absolutely amazing! I even had a moment where I broke down crying because dealing with chronic pain is just too much to handle sometimes and she brought in a behavioral specialist to talk with me, it was the perfect response and the situation. I'm at my wits end with this pain and having someone to vent to for a few minutes was nice, and the behavioral specialist even pointed out that there are therapist that specialize in chronic pain, which I was unaware of. It was a great visit, I learned so many new resources and felt so heard and understood finally. I am so happy I found Dr. Khalighi.

The staff is always professional and timely, they do everything to make you feel comfortable and make sure you are safe at home. The appointments are easy to make and during the appointments, they will help with whatever you need assistance with, so I love coming to the Womens Care Clinic here at Denver Health for all the above mentioned reasons! However, they had to reschedule a pap smear as the first one didn't have enough to have clear results from tests, so I had to schedule another one and I might have to pay out of pocket for that mistake...

The Denver health clinic staff didn't even ask for my name when I needed to see the doctor because I was in so much pain. I went to that clinic three times in a week and they still won't let me see the doctor, instead they scheduled an appointment for me but it was too far away that I can't wait with the pain. so I went straight to stride clinic, that's when they transferred me to the Emergency room and had my surgery. Before my surgery, I also went to Denver health emergency room but they only told me that I had an ectopic pregnancy and didn't do anything. The next day I couldn't handle the pain so I decided to go straight to the University Hospital emergency room. That took care of me that day and now I feel better.

I had very bad experience yesterday at OBG Women’s clinic. I scheduled my appointment almost a month ago. They cancelled my appointment the day before my appointment date. I called them and rescheduled with explaining that I need ultrasound to know gender of the baby. I waited for another week. I checked in online and made sure that I need to know the gender of my baby. They responded “yes. Appointment is for ultrasound”. Yesterday I went there and nurse knew that my appointment was for ultrasound. She reminded me that as soon as I got there. But doctor came inside the room after half an hour and said that I had to make another appointment to know the gender. She didn’t apologize. I asked again that this appointment was for ultrasound. She just kept saying that I needed to go to front desk to make an appointment again. The girl working at front desk said that ultrasound appointment is not available until September 20. My appointment was yesterday 28 of July. But they didn’t make ultrasound. I had to wait for two months. Furthermore, they told me that there wasn’t availability. They could have called me a month ago and let me know earlier.

As a trans patient, the staff have been very respectful in using my name & pronouns during checkin, making it feel like a safe place. I saw Rae Narr & they were very fast & helpful in scheduling me in quickly at a time catering to my schedule. & after my visit with them, I feel like they really genuinely care about the patients they see. I would def recommend them & this office!

My experience working with Sarah Barker has been absolutely wonderful and I could not ask for more from a provider. She was clearly born to be a Midwife. So grateful.

My experience was Great! The midwife was friendly and was very gentle. The most comfortable I felt getting a pap smear. Wish I would of known this The last 30 years of my life.

I met Dr. Bull for my physical. She is so kind and knowledgeable. She took her time with me and made my questions feel heard and answered. She also responded to my blood work quickly and with detail. I am very grateful for Dr. Bull! I met several people at my visit and they were kind and professional- nurse, bloodwork, front desk.

The doctor I saw this day was awesome. Answered all my questions and made sure I understood everything that was being done. Also made me very comfortable for a very uncomfortable procedure. Best experience I've had and that's saying a lot since the gynecologist is the last place you ever wanna be. Lol....

The staff at Women’s Care is wonderful. They have continued to try different approaches to my care until we all agreed on a course of action. Since surgery the staff continues to check on me and are available if I have any questions or concerns. I appreciate the level of care and respect me and my family were shown.

This was the most efficient doctor visit I’ve ever had! I arrived 20 minutes early as requested, and found the staff to be friendly and businesslike and then proceeded to relax in the clean, comfortable waiting room. I was called back 5 minutes before my actual appointment time, and was done with the visit in under 20 minutes. During that short time frame, I felt heard and was given all the information pertinent to my visit. I will definitely be going back!

The midwives are the best! Sarah is my absolute favorite. She takes to time to actually ask me how I am doing while treating me in the most non-judgmental way possible. I feel heard and action was taken when my back was hurting so bad I couldn't walk during my 1st and 2nd pregnancies.

I just had my first OB intake appointment here and I absolutely love this place! The staff is so incredibly friendly, and they won’t hesitate to answer any questions you have! I’m honestly a bit sad that I’ll have to switch facilities when I move back to my home state! I was in and out with no problems, I would highly recommend them!

The staff is so friendly and relaxed and made me feel welcome right from the start. I was able to explain all my issues because the provider Tara took the time to get deep into my medical history and discuss my options. I didn’t feel rushed like I did at other places. I needed blood work done which is upstairs and was able to be seen almost immediately.

I look forward to visiting my PCP because she takes time listening to my needs and explaining what I don’t understand. She is friendly and easy to talk to. The other staff are welcoming and helpful as needed.

I had a great experience from the time I walked into the door! The staff at the front desk were very helpful and I didn't have to wait long - ok, well, I did have to wait a bit once I got into the exam room BUT Catherine Grinnell spent a good deal of time with me once my appointment started and she was very thorough in detailed and answered all my questions.

They are so supportive sincere and caring in what they do I am making a change to go to the west side, healthcare clinic, and wouldn’t go anywhere else after going to be taken care of by them. Thank you so much to all the staff there who made me feel welcomed and cared for.💕✨

I go to Denver Health for all of my medical needs, but I’ve been going to the women’s care clinic for my prenatal care. I absolutely love coming here for my care. All of the staff members are extremely compassionate and professional. I always feel like my concerns are heard and not taken lightly, which isn’t always the case for someone of my demographic. Dr. Heybourne, in specific, has been excellent. He informed me of a recommended surgical procedure that would benefit me and my child. He was there every step of the way with compassion and knowledge. Weeks after the procedure, he continued to check in on me and make sure I was okay. I’ve never experienced that level of care before. The nurses and their bedside manner is impeccable as well. They are also prompt with their responses whenever I send messages through the MyChart app. 10/10.

10/10 loveliest experience at the gynecologist. Everyone I interacted with— Norma, Elizabeth and Sarah —were all kind, thoughtful and respectful. It was the easiest pap I've ever had. They gave lots of great advice and answered all of my questions! Definitely would recommend! Plus, it's a 5 minute walk from my apartment so it was super easy to get there!

I would give these people 10 stars. I was brought to the OB triage door in an ambulance after waking up at 35 weeks bleeding excessively. I was supposed to deliver at another hospital but the paramedics decided there wasn't time (probably a good call). The professionalism displayed but the CNMs, residents, and attending physician sets the standard for emergent care. I was so scared (obvi) but everyone was incredibly compassionate and gentle with me. I cannot thank Sarah Barker, Dr. Erin Franks, and Dr. Pedro Miranda enough for making the quick decisions they did to save my baby's life. I ended up having a c-section under general anesthesia which is only used in the most dire emergencies. I spent five days in the mom baby unit with my newborn preemie. The nurses were incredible, especially Jori who took care of me for three of those days. She was the first person to recognize the trauma I had experienced and reminded me that I was an amazing mother and had done nothing wrong. "Look at how sweet and perfect he is, you're doing amazing mama." I cannot thank you enough and I hope to be able to pass these messages on to the staff somehow! (Would also like to thank nurses Linh, Emmy, Taylor, and lactation nurse Sylvia for their compassionate care.)

Denver Health has been in my life since 2019, treating my Lupus and other health concerns. This year I welcomed a beautiful baby boy and their L&D nurses are the greatest nurses I could’ve gotten. I absolutely loved how caring and gentle their care was! All the nurses my baby has had are all very tentative and caring.

Amazing staff! They are very trans-friendly and made me feel welcome and accepted every step of the way. Very transparent with explanations/procedures/insurance. Had my procedure with Dr. Hyer who is an amazing surgeon and person! Would definitely recommend Denver Health for their Women’s Care Clinic and other services!

Dr. Muffly is the most genuine and comfortable surgeon/doctor I've ever had. He thoroughly explains procedures and other options in such a calming manner and truly listens to what I have to say. He respects me and my needs and has saved my life on multiple occasions. Even aside from him, all of the other nurses and surgeons I've dealt with in this department were nothing less than lovely and dealt with my anger upon waking up from surgery (anesthesia does not make me a happy camper lol). I love it here and I'm so grateful for everyone in this facility!

The people are friendly and helpful, but the clinic is not staffed well enough to support the amount of patients available. It takes several days to get in touch with my doctor, and it takes several months to get an appointment in person. I was referred to this clinic because I have a complicated problem that doesn't present normally, but the only people who are available to help me immediately when I have symptoms are on-staff nurses who don't know my whole history. I strongly believe that if I had access to responsive doctors who could see me when I actually had symptoms, my issue would be solved.

My first OBGYN appointment was unexpectedly good. I worked with E'jaaz, who’s not normally there. But she was informative, caring and patient with us despite our millions of questions. They seem to be a very laid back facility for your prenatal to birth journey.

My experience at Denver Health Women’s Care was exceptional. The staff is friendly and attentive from the front desk to the care providers. There was not a moment when I felt like I wasn’t being listened too and taken seriously, which I know is a big issue women face with their healthcare. This is a wonderful and supportive place for women to receive top notch care.

This has truly been an amazing establishment in every way possible! The midwives are amazing the assistants are amazing. They care about your wellbeing whether your pregnant or 6 month to a year after having baby! They call to remind you of appointments you need to be scheduling what kind of help they can provide and everything you need done is in that building. The website for lab results and appointment scheduling is so easy to use! You will not be disappointed going here! I won't go anywhere else for care! Denver Health Hospitals and Clinics really surprised me! Blew my mind actually!! Truly great staff, building, everything!

I loved Dr, Nguyen. She was punctual, kind, empathetic and spent time explaining everything to me in detail. I have been suffering for almost 2 years and for the first time I felt listened to, understood and have some hope of recovery. Everyone I came into contact with, from the front desk check in to the MA, they were all amazing and kind. I was a bit worried because I have never been to Denver Health and had heard some not so great things. They totally blew me away with their professionalism and kindness, exceeding my expectations in every way. I recommend the Women’s Clinic in Denver Health.

This place is awesome and I’m surprised how much holistic and empathetic care is available in a major city hospital. Nicole’s an awesome PT who is kind and knowledgeable and willing to work with a complicated case. Cindy is fabulous with a variety of offerings and insight for overall human and lady wellness. They’re very responsive to a variety of needs, and thorough. I recommend coming here for checkups and anything else.

Everyone in the office was really welcoming and kind. I was anxious and I had a lot of questions, but staff was professional, helpful, and supportive throughout my entire procedure, before & after. I’ve never had a more comfortable, stress free & easy gynecology appointment. Thank you, you are a phenomenal office!

Everyone was patient, supportive, and created a very comfortable atmosphere. My doctor made casual conversation with me throughout my appointment asking me random questions about myself to keep my mind occupied, then sat with me and talked for a bit afterwards. I felt like they genuinely cared about my well-being, and I left happy!

I feel privileged to have delivered my infant at DH. Everyone from start to finish, took excellent care of me and my family. The midwives listened to my goals and helped me achieve them. My labor and delivery nurse was very supportive and was instrumental in keeping me calm. The Post Partum nurses were very helpful and supportive. I never had to wait for supplies or medication. Six days postpartum. I began hemorrhaging at home. My husband and rushed to the OB screening room. The staff took me to a room right away. A midwife came in and the OB chief was soon to Follow. Together, they isolated the source of the bleeding, and again I was taken care of by the excellent staff at Denver Health.

I didn’t think the MA Perla treated me as an individual. I felt like I was just another number in her list. She never made eye contact and kept asking her questions as a script. Being a former employee of DH and receiving training in AIDET, she did a very poor job. I also felt the appointment took a long time, because the medical student wasn’t asking enough questions and had to come back three times to verify information and report back. Resident and attending spent probably 10min tops including a pelvic exam, I could had left the clinic in half an hour. I only give 2 stars because of registration. We need to do better and try to personalize service. Medical care is very expensive for costumers too, let’s try to serve them as how we want to get served.

I have been going through IVF and infertility for over a year and struggling with needing extra diagnostic procedures on top of the fertility treatments. Dr Adkins had so much empathy towards me and my situation and able to get me in quickly for a procedure that was required before moving on with the next fertility embryo transfer. Dr Adkins kindness and willingness to help me brought me to tears and took so much stress off of me. She not only did a great job with my procedure, but emotionally helped me more than she will ever know. The day of the procedure her whole team was incredibly nice and proficient.
