UPDATE:
Not
only
am
I
continuing
to
get
the
runaround
from
these
incompetent
“professionals”
since
leaving
the
hospital,
but
every
department/person
I
have
spoken
to
in
an
attempt
to
remedy
this
situation
has
given
me
different
instructions
on
how
to
go
about
fixing
my
medical
chart
notes,
obtaining
a
written
apology,
etc.
The
patient
advocate
has
been
incredibly
condescending,
once
she
finally
got
back
to
me.
The
Health
Info
Dept
supervisor
called
me
a
liar
when
I
was
relaying
to
her
the
events
that
occurred
-
she
flat
out
said,
“I
don’t
believe
you.”
In
addition,
they
all
seemed
to
be
annoyed,
and
treated
me
as
if
I
was
wasting
their
time
due
to
the
fact
that
I
have
a
bad
stutter
and
it
takes
me
a
little
longer
to
get
my
words
out.
No
patient
should
be
made
to
feel
lesser
than
or
disrespected
in
that
way,
or
to
feel
the
need
to
apologize
for
stuttering
(which
I
have
no
control
over).
Furthermore,
I
do
not
appreciate
being
lectured
by
those
that
do
not
have
all
of
the
facts.
I
was
basically
being
told
to
“shut
up”
because
I
needed
to
listen
to
what
THEY
had
to
say
…
when
they
were
clearly
not
listening
to
me
in
the
slightest.
There
is
absolutely
no
excuse
for
treating
a
patient
in
this
manner
when
it
is
actually
the
job
of
the
patient
advocate
and
supervisor
to
listen
in
order
to
reach
some
sort
of
amicable
conclusion.
They
all
lacked
basic
customer
service
skills
and
empathy.
I
have
never
been
treated
so
rudely,
and
I
will
not
tolerate
their
discrimination,
lies,
and
contempt.
This
was
an
absolutely
horrendous
experience
as
an
inpatient.
I
find
the
reply
from
UCHealth
to
my
initial
review
to
be
utterly
lacking.
The
responsibility
is
on
the
hospital
to
make
it
right
at
this
point,
after
I
have
repeatedly
requested
to
speak
to
someone
higher
up
since
the
individuals
I
have
spoken
to
so
far
have
been
completely
unwilling
to
even
meet
me
halfway.***
While
in
the
hospital,
I
requested
to
speak
with
a
patient
advocate
or
case
manager,
but
was
given
the
runaround
by
the
PA,
Charge
Nurse,
other
nurses,
and
phone
operator.
After
leaving
the
hospital
I
am
still
getting
the
runaround.
No
one
in
the
“Clinical
Excellence
&
Patient
Safety”
department
has
answered
the
phone
after
multiple
calls,
and
no
one
has
returned
my
messages.
I
could
not
get
any
help
while
I
was
an
inpatient,
and
that
trend
is
continuing
since
I
checked
out
of
the
hospital.
Unfortunately,
I
have
had
numerous
hospitalizations
within
the
past
10
years,
and
this
is
BY
FAR
the
worst
experience.
To
top
it
off,
upon
reading
through
my
chart
notes
from
my
stay
I
found
several
blatant
lies,
convenient
omissions,
and
discrepancies
about
my
medical
history
and
stay
at
the
hospital.
This
is
completely
unacceptable,
and
has
real-life
consequences
regarding
false
information
about
my
health
issue.
FIND
ANOTHER
HOSPITAL
that
actually
upholds
patient
rights
and
patient
advocacy!!!
