This place is so horrible! Suicidal child brought in and they felt she didn’t need to be evaluated, parents wanted her evaluated though because she was inflicting self harm. So they made them wait hours, without talking to anyone until the grandparent showed up and demanded they progress with things! Basically belittled the whole seriousness of the ordeal made the parents feel horrible for trying to do what’s best for their kid! This place does not take something like this serious, you’re better off going elsewhere!! What has happened to all the children hospitals in Colorado!?

The doctors are caring, However, I have never had such a horrible experience at Children’s hospital like I did Saturday. we took my 5 year-old because she was having fever, headaches and sore throat, I thought it could be strep throat . When we were seen, the nurse doing the initial assessment (Natasha) was EXTREMELY RUDE. First she yelled at my husband for sitting in the kids bed and tell him he was going to have to stay and clean the bed for the next patient, second, when she was taking the sample from my daughter's throat , my daughter moved and the nurse yelled at her for moving and stuck the swab in my daughter's throat, who knows how deep, my daughter said it hurt her . My daughter was traumatized and still talks about the way she treated her, I'm sure she sees hundreds of children in a day, she should know how to treat children. Her response was "I was afraid she would ruin the sample" - well, guess what, I'm sure you can take a second sample. Finally when we were in the room she asked me if my daughters information was correct, I was making sure it was correct and she asked me in a very rude way a”Yes o No”. I’m NEVER taking my daughter back to this location, to me I was treated in a very discriminatory way by the nurse. The doctor was awesome though.

The staff, was friendly but literally Ive been here for two hours and not called back yet my son is super sick throwing up contiounsly and the other patients after us have already been taking back. I feel super discriminated me and my son. I will not be returning.👌👌👌

Took my son here in the middle of the night with an eat infection. I was in and out within an hour and half. The staff is all very friendly and caring. I would highly suggest this place to other parents. Hopefully I won't have to return any time soon but its great knowing there's an excellent hospital down the street for my 3 kids.

Our daughter had a sleep study here and all went smoothly. The staff were very kind and knowledgeable, and the facility was extremely clean and comfortable.

The staff at this urgent care have always been very kind and caring while treating our kids whether it be 2am or 2pm. We won't take the kids for non emergency issues anywhere else. The wait times never seem to be more than a couple minutes.

I brought my little guy here and they were great!! I will definitely bring him back if I ever need too. It is such a relief knowing I have a great place to go in an urgent situation, especially after a couple of horrible experiences we have had in the past with urgent care. Thank you Children's hospital!!

I do not recommend this clinic. We came in for an appointment as a result of my daughter being breech to determine if she had hip dysplasia. We were referred here by our pediatrician and being a first time mom I was a little overwhelmed and did as they suggested. After a very brief ultrasound on both hips we had to wait for the results of the ultrasound to be read which took a few days. The findings were that one side was normal and one side was "at risk for being abnormal." With this being said we were told to come back in a month to get another ultrasound to see if there were any changes, sometimes it just takes a little while for babies' hips to develop. I was about to make our follow up appointment when I received the bill in the mail. After this very short appointment we were billed $640 (after insurance) for the ultrasound and $96 (after insurance) for the reading of the ultrasound. Obviously my daughter's health is my utmost concern but after numerous ultrasounds during my pregnancy that were a small fraction of this cost I felt like Children's Hospital Colorado was taking advantage of the services provided by billing this large amount for such a short appointment. After multiple attempts to reach the billing department to question the excessive charge of this appointment, I finally was able to reach a real person, not that it mattered because they told me that these were the prices and there was nothing I could do about it. For my daughter's follow up ultrasound, I called around to several other radiology and imaging facilitates and found that they were less than half the price of Children's Hospital Colorado and they also including the reading of the ultrasound in the total payment. I wish I had been a little more informed and done my research as opposed to just going with what was recommended by the pediatrician and trusting in the Children's Hospital name, now I know that all the name does is add extra dollars to your bill.

We were there for a sleep study and the sleep study technician couldn’t have been more helpful. Paperwork was streamlined/organized and overall the experience was very positive.

Children’s Hospital Sleep Study at Uptown on Franklin was amazing. Everyone that took care of my son did a fantastic job and made us both feel very comfortable. Plus they called us with his results quickly after his appointment. I’m very happy with how everything went and I highly recommend this for other patients and parents.

Staff is very caring. The wait times can vary like anywhere. Sad state of our “affordable” health care. Higher costs and not enough payers into the system. Look out Canada here we come.

I love this place. I owe my son's life and how well he is doing overall to this place. He had the most thorough and intensive care here so that we could figure out everything we needed. They had some of the nicest and intelligent nurses on nearly every shift during his lengthy hospitalizations. I can't imagine no matter how difficult or rare something is that this isn't the best place to bring your child. Even if you have to drive an extra distance, it's worth it to bring your child here. When you go home you will know he/she got the best care possible. I am so grateful to the doctors here. If you have a child with chronic or multiple health problems bring them here. It is so awesome that all the departments speak to each other and you don't have to constantly go over your child's medical history. Children's even communicates directly with your child's primary care provider. The continuity of care your child can get is better than anything I could have imagined. I recommend all my nieces and nephews and even the kids some of them are now having, use only Children's Hospital. I have found that even the wait in the ER is worth it if you choose the right location. The main campus is also a great choice and has some of the best providers in the country. If you're worried, concerned, your child has been diagnosed with something somewhere else and you're scared or unsure then bring your child here. Not only do they care about the child but they keep an eye on the families, too. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Can someone tell me what happened to this hospital? I came here recently and they were closed the security guard told me they were but I forgot to ask him what happened. This was a good hospital

My son had a sleep study. Everyone was kind and the facilities are clean and spacious.

My daughter had to stay over night and the nurse/pcp Tee did an amazing job in taking care of my daughter and me.

They always listen and try to help my baby when he is over the edge, most of the hospitals I go to just tell me he’s normal and will get over it. They’re a really good staff!

Above and beyond the call of duty! My daughter broke both of her wrists (4 fractures total) hours before we had a flight to Mexico for Spring Break. The nurse was incredibly compassionate delivering the news to my daughter and myself. She explained my daughter would need 2 splints that were unable to get wet at all! Of course we were shocked knowing it would ruin our trip! The nurse saw the disappointment in my daughter's eyes and made a phone call to an Ortho PA, Ryan Ballard, who was off work at the time. He came from his home and molded two water proof casts for my daughter so she could enjoy swimming in Mexico! It was a devastating day to walk out and process my very active 9 year old had two broken both of her wrists however, I walked away with gratitude of how much the staff truly cared about my daughter's well being! Angels!
