This truest is a 3 star hotel. It’s both super crunchy but also nice. Pros: The room was very nice. The bed is as comfortable as a hotel gets. The staff was amazing and very helpful. The breakfast was surprisingly very nice. I expected just some muffins but there’s breakfast burritos, cereals, and waffles. Cons: The outside is CRUNCHY. The stairs have rust, the pool looked like it single-handle started Covid-19. The toilet made weird sounds all night and the shower wasn’t very clean when I arrived. If you are looking for an affordable hotel I highly recommend. It was great for the price. I had a nice stay.

I stayed for 2 nights just to sleep at night while I worked all day. Just before checking out, I noticed lots of roaches and bedbugs all over my bed. When I checked out, I asked if the manager could call me so I could bring this issue to light. Instead, the young kid behind the desk told me in a sarcastic fashion, I had to contact them, then gave me a card to email them. That the manager had more important things to do than what I had to say. Then he told me to leave. Apparently, this is not an important issue to address. If you can avoid them, please do. There is a choice hotel a lot cleaner than this place across the street. I would recommend them instead. Now I have to go home riddled with bedbug bites. Not cool.

This hotel is horrible on so many levels. They say updated- but it’s not! I booked online but then they tried to charge me a different price. Brought our dogs. We went out for dinner and when we came back our keys wouldn’t open our door. The dogs were getting upset. Went to front desk and the lady laughed. She thought it was funny that we were locked out and our dogs were in the room. Had to wait about an hour for someone to come and fix the door. Heidi- the manager is rude. I left my iPad there by accident. I called 2x and they said they are waiting on the cleaning crew. We them called a few hours late, because we didn’t hear from anyone like they said we would, and Heidi was rude and claimed that she talked to us. I tried to explain that no one has reached out and she just got loud. So I cut her off, asked if my iPad was there and she said yes. I said put it in a safe because I will be back. She said wow and hung up on me. When I went back to get it, they tried to tell me that they didn’t have it. Thankfully I was able to show them on my Find my phone app that it was there in the office. Suddenly they found it! They are rude, dirty and obnoxious. Do not stay here! Wish I could give them zero stars!! I will be going higher than Heidi.

I was traveling for work and my company reserved 5 nights at this location. Upon arrival, there were some issues with checking in and some deposit details. Having driven 100’s of miles and not wanting to turn me away, the Front Desk asked me to wait while they reached out to the 3rd party that booked us. I’m all my years of traveling, Evelyn, by far, provided the most professional, delightful and efficient customer service I’ve ever experienced. Not only did she completely fix the situation, she did it with a welcoming attitude and good vibes. The room had a few issues that I’d usually ask to be switched for. Because of the tremendous effort, I gave it a pass. Customer service is by far the most important in the hospitality industry. Wyndham can be proud of the asset they have in Evelyn and her support staff. They were all wonderful. Beds were comfy, room was clean. Thank you

Good if you need a budget stay, but otherwise it's kind of a run down property. The beds are pretty good but the shower was very weak and very little hot water. Location is OK near the highway but certainly not the safest spot to walk around. Interesting that where I stayed on the 3rd floor in the building just past the pool, the rooms had no numbers posted outside them, so you just had to try my key in three locks before discovering the right one. So yeah, not awesome but OK in a pinch if you need a cheap option.

This was the actual worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. They completely dropped the ball when it came to our service. We came in about midnight, and the guy checking us in admitted it was his first day on the job. It was obvious he should not have been left alone on his first freaking day. It took almost half an hour to check in. The next day, we had to work from 10am-6pm. When we arrived back to our room, the key didn’t work. Ok, fine. I went to the desk, and a nice young lady re-programmed my keys. But, OOPS, what she didn’t tell me is that my husband and I were moved to a completely different room. We spent 5+ minutes swiping these keys that didn’t work for this room, only for an angry guy to SWING the door open and yell at us for trying to break into his room. Turns out, the room we were placed in the night before wasn’t even our room!! On top of everything, our clothes, chargers, toothbrushes, etc. we’re still in the previous room. Housekeeping cleaned the room for a whole other guest. Then took our stuff. At what point does housekeeping look at these rooms and think to themselves, “oh, maybe they’re still staying here” ??? A LOT of our luggage was still in the dang room!! And the lady at the front desk said she didn’t have access to housekeeping’s lost and found. What freaking sense does that make that your front desk worker doesn’t have access to the guest lost and found? So, the next night, we stayed in a completely different room without our pajamas, toothbrushes, or next day clothes. Our luggage is still at the hotel as I type this. Horrible stay. Zero stars if I could. Do NOT stay here.

We are Wyndam members and stay in La Quinta Hotels all over the country. I am so sad to say this one was one of the most disappointing we have ever stayed in. The room was NOT clean and the floors had not been cleaned in a very long time. Our feet were black from walking barefoot in the room. We were in an ADA room and it had a tub in place of a walk in shower. I'm not sure how they think people with disabilities can climb over a tub. The parking lot had trash and outside our room there trash all over the parking space. I ended up picking it up myself so we didn't have to look at it. The only way we would go back to this hotel is if they made an extreme effort to deep clean the rooms and hire more people to keep the location up to the La Quinta standards.

The facilities are in horrible condition and dirty. The daytime desk help were extremely rude and very unwilling to help remedy any issues for customers. We arrived at the hotel early (noon). I did ask if our room happened to be ready for check in. We were told it was not clean yet and it wouldn't be ready until 3:00. We were offered to check into a different room for a extra price. We told the BOYS that we would wait until three. We came back at 2:30 to finish waiting for our room. By 5:30-6:00, the lobby was extremely full of customers waiting to check in. They too were told their rooms had not been cleaned yet. I understand being understaffed; however, several of us customers stood outside and watched not 1 BUT 3 housekeepers stand around on their phones for over 45 minutes. When several of us brought this up to the front desk, we were snarked at and basically ignored by the two BOYS. The two young ladies came into work and had to deal with the mess the BOYS let happen. It seemed every evening they had to deal with the same incompetency's of the 2 BOYS. We finally got checked in late Saturday evening. By Thursday, I was having to go back and forth with the front desk just trying to get our room cleaned. By Saturday morning, it took the maintenance man calling several people and finally getting someone to at least halfway clean. We did have a few maintenance issues ( the sink literally fell apart, AC stopped working) the maintenance men were amazing and the two young ladies whom worked the evening shift were wonderful. I will be filling a full complaint and providing pictures of the dismay of the facilities. I honestly don't understand how people have not been critically hurt by the dilapidated stairs, rails, gates; etc. It is very uncomforting to see concrete crumbling from the upper stories as people walked and watching cracks in the bricks grind.

Big hotel right off of Turnpike dr. Can't miss it. Also location is near/ close by lots of restaurants and stores. I booked off a 3rd party site and had no problem when arriving and checking in/out. Front desk was kind and helpful. Check in was quick and easy just as checking out. Got a king bed room. Bed was made very nicely and sheets were bright white. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was huge! The towels were good quality. Just wish room/ bathroom had better lighting. Otherwise my 2 night stay was great. Would definitely book here again for future Denver stays.

Good place to stay. It was a reasonable price for Denver. However the first man that checked us in could have been more welcoming and I believe he had to be one of the managers because he was dressed nice compared to the other workers. Also the room stinks, it is due to the cleaning products that they use so it will smell worst in the bathroom. I recommend an air freshener! Housekeeping stopped by 1 time out of 4 days we were there, as expected because they have short staff so no problem there. Breakfast was great and so was the breakfast staff. Only problem I mainly had was the fact that I booked a room WITH indoor entry and also a MICROWAVE. We ended up without a microwave and entry from the outside which we didn’t want do to safety. Anyway, I wouldn’t stay here again.

Front desk staff are super kind and welcoming. We had some issues with the people next to us but they took care of it. Room was clean and the bed was comfy. The location is convenient. I feel like the hotel itself was overpriced but that seems to be the case with all hotels at this point.

Have spent over 1000 at this location in the past weeks and they still wanted to take yet another 100 deposit. Also, Manager Chris is incredibly rude and a smart-***. My door wouldn't even CLOSE one night, and he only had snark, couldn't even be bothered to follow up. Had to find another employee. He is awful.

Housekeeping will start at 8:45 trying to come in the room to clean weather your checking out or not.( Even though the check out is at noon). You can communicate your additional stay to the front but they won't communicate with housekeeping. Thus 3 attempts each morning by opening the door on their own when clearly there are people inside saying, be right there. No privacy from 8am-2pm. Units are clean and fairly nice and pretty much sound proof. Never heard another room's noise. Only traffic from the highway was easily drowned by the TV . Yeah I'd stay here again but I'd make sure my door is double locked!

Management is a nightmare. The main manager thinks he's really something special and openly mistreats and harasses guests and staff. Oh, did I mention the shower had remnants of feces in it when we walked in? Great job, La Quinta Westminster mngt.

The hotel itself is really nice for what it is. However, my car got broken into and the staff acted like they couldn’t be bothered with the situation. Luckily there just so happened to be a really nice and helpful police officer driving by that my boyfriend was able to flag down. Needs better staff.

People partying next to our room, front desk said they did not have security to go to the room. After my 3rd call they must have asked them to move or changed their room. Your front desk guy would not add an additional night , he made my brother drive back with his credit card. Ridiculous. I used to love La Quinta, but not now. I will share this also. We stayed May 12 & 13 , i believe the room number was 233. Was registered under Emrikson not great customer service

Will never stay here again. Breakfast was dismal. My husband and I had to share an instant oatmeal. We were able to make toast by holding down the button since it would not stay down on its own. No juice, fruit or yogurt. Things you would expect for breakfast. There were spaces for it but none of the 3 ladies behind the desk seemed to care that there was no food. Bed is hard as a rock. Front door to the lobby has not seen cleaner in years. At least the pillows were OK.

The room was nice and clean, the rooms are older but have updated flooring in the bathroom and sink area. Added trim molding. The carpet felt good on bare feet and no funky smells. The bed was a little firm but slept very well.

Excellent hotel for budget traveling. The beds are some of the most comfortable I’ve slept on...Front desk staff was incredibly helpful & there is plenty of space to walk your dogs. Centrally located to a lot of activities so it’s perfect for those who adventure all day and want a place to sleep at night without being super sketchy. I’ll definitely stay here again

Staff was super nice and laid back. Breakfast is pretty standard and the person working was very kind . Housekeeping was friendly, too! We bounced back and forth between red rocks and Denver proper, so it was an excellent central location for us. Boulder is also pretty close, and the eldo state park is as well. Couple grocery stores nearby, fast food, other restaurants, and other stores are very close! We had a great stay thank you! Some lights didn't work in 335 like the heat lamp in the bathroom. Most of the outlets are super loose and could use replacing.

I usually love staying here but this time i had to jump through hoops to be checked in. Austin Wilson the front office manager gave me problems with my authorization and instead of being helpful he acted as if he couldn’t do anything and played dumb. Was not helpful at all, neither looking for a way to help. I typically have no problems checking in. Poor experience this time. Let’s see if they pay attention to their reviews and try to work on it

My friend and I booked at this place for our vacation, we were pleased to see the nice reviews and pictures. The staff was pleasant, but when we tried using the elevator it didn’t work. We took the stairs and as soon as we entered the room it was muggy and had an odor. We quickly realized the room/bedding had not been cleaned at all. There was even a window screen under my mattress. We turned around and got a refund.

I stay here often. Nice quiet hotel in a location that enables quick commute to north Denver burbs and easy access to Highway 36. Helpful friendly staff. Simple breakfast, a bit to simple though. Priced well anyway of the week. Overall I enjoy this hotel and location.

The worst hotel I have ever stayed. Dirty Customer service is terrible, and the lady in the front is so degrading. I booked with a card and was reassured that everything would be fine upon arrival. When I got there my card could not be used for some reason for the deposit. If I would have known this I would have booked somewhere else. I drove hours and it was really late, and the lady would not take my other cards which was weird. I ended up sleeping in my car. Terrible, please don't make the same mistake, and book here.

The location of the hotel is great. It is located close to the interstate, several restaurants, gas stations, and a Walmart. When I stayed, it was within days of a new ownership taking over, so the staff was distracted and not very knowledgeable. I had to do some laundry upon my arrival, so I called in advance to confirm that they have a washer and dryer. I also asked how much it costs to run the machines, and I was told a quarter. I suspected that this wasn't right, so I brought $2.00 worth of quarters with me. When I go there, no one knew where the washer and dryer was, and when I was finally directed to it, I discovered that it took $2.50 for each machine. The hotel didn't carry change so I couldn't get quarters in exchange for the bills that I had. Luckily, the machines had a QR code that I could scan to pay. The gentleman who seemed to be in charge was kind enough to help as much as he could, but it was frustrating that there was such a lack of knowledge. Everyone was kind, they just weren't very helpful because they didn't have training. Overall, if the price is still right, I would probably stay here again. The staff truly tried with the knowledge that they had. I will, however, made different arrangements for breakfast.

Clean, lovely room. Front desk staff was wonderful even though we made last minute reservations. The only complaints we have is that someone had a dog that started barking about 7am and never stopped until we left and the other thing was we were stuck out of state due to the storm, and when we asked for later check out so that we could check alternative routes and call family, work to make other plans etc, the morning front desk only gave us 30 minutes extra. Other than that we absolutely loved our stay.

It was nice and quiet. They have a pool so that was nice. Breakfast is included. However, by 9a, there's nothing left, and they do not bring out anything else. They're already wiping off counters, and you get the hint they weren't going to bring out anything else. They tell you on day 3 that housekeeping will clean up, so make your own bed and clean up after yourself. We're pretty neat, so that was no issue.

A little left to be desired. The individual at the reception desk had ZERO personality. The room was fairly clean however, there was old soap residue on the tub corner. The breakfast/coffee area was messy, there was no coffee and they were "out" of sugar. The hotel stresses a Non-smoking environment but all you smell is smoke and marijuana as you walk up and down the breezeways. This along with whining, barking dogs pretty much led to an uncomfortable sleepless night. On a positive note, the rate was not bad. You get what you pay for. My opinion, this La Quinta has gone down hill.

  • 2/5 Laura D. 1 year ago on Google
Not a good experience. Shower awful and mouldy, no milk or yogurts at breakfast. Small, uncomfortable beds. Card machines broken at check in. Woman at the check in desk in the morning was rude and unhelpful when my young child needed the toilet at breakfast. We had to walk all the way back to our room in building 4 and only just made it. Only reason it's 2 rather than 1 star is because the woman at check in was great.

  • 5/5 Robby D. 1 year ago on Google
Outside of hotel kinda looks sketchy, but you’ll be shocked once you walk into the room and see how nice and clean that they are! My only complaint is how terrible our shower head was. They all probably need replaced on the property.

Rooms very clean and spacious. Definitely consider booking through Expedia or other travel company since on website it’s much more expensive. There’s a $100 deposit which I didn’t know though and then early check in fee is $25 even though the room was already ready and I was just 1.5 hours early. And checkout is at noon. And no late checkout is available.

Rooms are dirty.. the hotel is falling apart... but they claim "NEWLY RENOVATED"... the beds are uncomfortable and the hotel was dirty on the outside too... The mini fridge was not working and the room smelt like moldy carpet... the hotel is close to train station and a walmart... not worth the money at all

The hotel was nice. Decent breakfast. The staff were friendly and helpful. 4 stars because when I made the reservation I asked if they had fridges and microwaves and was told yes. After getting to our room there wasn't a fridge or microwave and when I asked the front desk about it I was told it's a higher priced room. Just disappointed. I'd come back however.

My daughter Bobbie has been here for almost a week. She slipped on the ice and hurt her leg. They made sure all the ice was cleaned up so it doesn't happen again. I thank you for that. She loves the room she is in. And will be staying one more week. Thank you for being an awesome team.

I stayed here end of October beginning of November visiting from New Mexico visiting for a concert. I was so excited as the price was very affordable but it was honestly just a series of horrible messes. When my friends and I got to our room we noticed one of the bedside lights were off. My friend checked to see if it was unplugged and landed up shocking themselves from the outlet !!! That was definitely scary but to top it off, when we called the front desk the receptionist didn’t even apologize or show remorse for what could have been a deadly situation. My friend was ok but it was still horribly disappointing to say in the LEAST. There were many other things like an uncleaned bathtub, no access to the stairwell next to our room because it was taped off with caution tape/unsafe, the hair dryer didn’t work, our repair man (for the broken outlet) didn’t show up or call until 12 hours past the time they were supposed to show up, there was a fire alarm going off and after we came back from the concert that we had come to Denver for our DOOR WAS OPEN. My friends and I have WAY too much anxiety to have forgotten to lock our door so that was NOT US. We do have quite a funny story now and we’re laughing off the series of unfortunate events but it was so inconvenient and terrible staying here. I guess the beds were nice.

Staff was rude on the telephone, the guys name was Nick, I believe. I had actually reserved a king deluxe instead they put me in a queen room just because I have a service dog. Upon checking in the shorter female was semi rude while the other attendant was the nicer of the two. Pool was closed, there are vagrants outside the rear parking area. Bed was on the stiff side. The super 8 hotel I stayed at in Valentine NE was much nicer and cheaper than this LaQuinta. Just my honest opinion.

  • 2/5 Kimberly R. 1 year ago on Google
The location is great but the rooms and service not so much. All of the females that work at this hotel are really nice but there's a certain gentleman that I think is a manager is very rude and unaccommodating. I will not be back because of him and the lack of a laundry room that's open regular hours. They keep their laundry room locked you have to get the manager to unlock it and they close it at 8:00 and it doesn't work very well.

  • 5/5 Don W. 1 year ago on Google
The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very pleasant and attentive. The location was close to restaurants and near the highway. The only thing was a $100 room deposit. I find that a bit excessive and unnecessary. I did get it back quickly, but that wasn't the issue for me. I had booked on Priceline and there is no mention of this fee.

  • 2/5 JC C. 1 year ago on Google
Pricing is affordable, but customer service and room cleanliness is lacking. Plus, they aren't very accommodating of allergies. I can't sleep on down pillows without getting an awful rash, and when we called down to see if they had an alternative option (not a room, just pillows), we were told there wouldn't be anything until morning and then they laughed. Glad to see that they care about customer comfort. Plus, there was a bunch of mildew on the roof of the shower and we couldn't do anything to turn off the air conditioner and it made the whole room smell musty.

  • 2/5 Lynn E. 1 year ago on Google
Stayed here while visiting my aunt on hospice. This hotel was nothing like their website described it. It was old and run down. The lamps didn't work, the shower didn't want to turn off, the floor was dirty. We ran out of supplies. About the only descent thing was, that is was quiet for most of our stay. Location was easy to get to most of the time, but there was road construction on the corner.
