Beautiful lake! You'll get great views from every part of the trail. Tons of people paddleboarding. There's construction going on, so take the upper lot exit and take a right. If you take the wrong turn you'll have to drive back another 10 minutes back to where you started.

Great place to have a short quick hike and have fun in the ice during winter.

We have been here in the winter for ice-skating on the lake, which we absolutely loved! They have skate rentals, and they even had things for us to hold if we didn’t want to fall. We also love coming in the summer because you can rent a canoe or a kayak. The double kayak is $40 an hour. Their staff is always so friendly and willing to help. And it’s just a beautiful view!

Wow, this lake is stunningly beautiful. It has that perfect winter lake hockey vibe, the community can meet up here and hang out and play around with the good ol' frozen biscuit. Highly recommend, best lake to play hockey!

The drive was awesome. I was surprised at 50° temperature and lake Evergreen was frozen. Can't wait to see how it looks during spring, fall or summer.

Great place for recreation and fishing! There is a small coffee shop nearby. And the fish keep biting!

The north side of the walking path around the lake is closed due to construction. Otherwise it’s a lot of fun to walk around and even into downtown evergreen. They do have public restrooms near the boat house on the west side of the lake.

Nice place to skate with the family. It is a bit confusing when dealing with things like rentals and skate sharpening on your first visit. But, it is a big plus that offer both of these services.

If you want a cute easy walk or hike as my husband called it this just might be your place. It is definitely cooler walking along the lake in the tree side. At least in October. The path is easy to use. Lots of people and dogs. Lots of people fishing. The trees with their bright colors are so beautiful.

Nice place. With deer sightseeing very common in the area... half frozen in Thanksgiving weekend.

The restrooms in this area are horrible!! Not clean at all, toilet paper everywhere and not even hand sanitizer in these restrooms. Come prepared not to use these. Plenty of fishing to do and walking around the lake.

Beautiful lake. A fairly easy “hike” that loops around with great views from all angles. Hard to beat!

A good place to walk around the lake, it could be busy during the weekend and out of parking space. The parking lots opposite the lake are meant for their customers only.

Nice quick escape from the city. Go there to take a stroll, kayak, paddle-board or bird watch. When you get time, catch one of the summer concerts or hike around the lake and grab beverage or snack in town. Ice skating in the winter and close to town for shopping or a bite anytime. What a treat! Can get crowded during tourist season and parking shuttles are best during concerts.

Such a serene mountain lake to skate at during the winter (or just sip coffee indoors and enjoy the view). Really well maintained, with just the right amount of preserved wilderness and rustic charm It may be only 20 minutes from the chaos and smog of Denver, yet you feel worlds away

Great lake to come to. Not too big and not too small and not too far from Denver. Parking is limited so be aware that it might be hard to find a stop during weekends and holiday. We went there for paddle boarding this time. They have a station there that will fill up your inflatable paddle boards for you, along with washing them before and after. Beats doing it by hand... $10 fee per aquatic vehicle (boarding, canoe, kayak, paddle board, etc) and not per person.

Evergreen Lake is a beautiful alpine lake located in the heart of Evergreen. The trail around the perimeter is a perfect leisurely hike for an afternoon or evening. During the summer the lake itself tends to be pretty popping with kayakers and paddle boarders.

I like this lake. I have visited it many times. Every time it is special wonderful. You can fish here, go kayaking, have a picnic, hiking... In winter you can go ice skating.

This was such an incredible, accidentally beautiful experience. We wanted to go to Mount Evans, but were unable to book a visitor pass, since there was no network on the road. But then we met a woman and her daughter at ECHO Lake, and she suggested that we should go to Evergreen, which is a beautiful Alpine town. She actually grew up there, but now lives in Dallas. The route to this town is drop dead, gorgeous, and the houses on the way are simply unreal in their beauty. We had the perfect mix of weather between drizzle and sun peeking through the clouds.

Very awesome place to see … we got there and it was frozen. There were people all over the ice fishing and gathering. I must admit I was nervous about standing on the ice but I eventually gave in !

Really nice path around half of the lake. Looks like they have fun water rentals. But it wasn't the right time of year to see what all they offered for lake fun.
