Bellaire Lake Campground

Campground

👍👍 Great campground and the lake is a gem. I stayed in site #20. The couple in the spot closest to me played their music too loud at night (dinner time ish, not late) and that was really the only downside. Medium to medium-strong cell service with T-Mobile both at the campground and around the lake.... People often mention lake, campground, site, great, beautiful, nice, walk, fish, good, camp,

Great campground and the lake is a gem. I stayed in site #20. The couple in the spot closest to me played their music too loud at night (dinner time ish, not late) and that was really the only downside. Medium to medium-strong cell service with T-Mobile both at the campground and around the lake. About a quarter mile walk to the lake. Well worth it. And the whole lake is easy to walk around. Great views. Lots of people fishing, and saw lots of fish jumping for that matter. Flush toilets in super clean bathrooms. Host was great. Firewood available for $7 a bundle. Will definitely stay here again.

Oh wow. Can't express how much we love this place. So beautiful. If you love the mountains, the woods and love to fish or paddle/kayak. This is it. Camphost is super friendly, the campsites are amazing and we just can't wait to come back

This is a nice small (27 sites) campground close to Bellaire Lake. Many of the sites do have some shade, but it would be a good idea to have some kind of shelter. The facilities are good and clean with running water, so flush toilets. There is fishing, and it's a nice small lake for kayaks, canoes, and paddleboarding.

Great campground! Awesome Camp Hosts! This is one of those "best kept secret" hideaways. Clean and well kept with lots of improvements this year. At 8600 ft elevation, make sure you have a warm tent if you camp from late Aug though closing. It's pretty windy up there. Gorgeous place!

One of the best campgrounds I've been to. You're in the forest but there's running water and flushing toilets. Beautiful scenery all day long and picturesque sunsets. The wild flowers are poppin right now and are a wonderful contrast to the burn areas. Lots of room to explore and adventure.

What a beautiful place! The wildflowers are everywhere - more columbine than I have ever seen even on a hiking trail! The lake is not large but great to relax and paddle around. Campground hosts take excellent care & you aren't afraid to go into the restrooms. You can see how close the 2020 fire came to the lake and the campground but the serene, beauty of the area makes it a wonderful place to visit.

Crowded, but spectacular. We reserved a single night at Bellaire Lake Campground, site B026. This was a double-fee site, and the only one left to reserve. However, it was a great campsite that gave us plenty of privacy and great rocks for the kids to climb on. The lake was a bit too breezy for good fly fishing from the banks, but some belly-boaters were pulling in nice fish from the middle of the lake. Spin-cast rigs were doing well from the shore, but it was too crowded in my opinion. The campground was well maintained, and quiet after hours. Firewood was available for $5. This was a no-hookup RV site, which was perfect for our stay. The Red Feather Lakes region is simply beautiful. I highly recommend it.

Wonderful campground! We are so fortunate that the campground was saved by firefighters during the 2020 Cameron Peak fire. The day use area was also saved. Some sites have electricity. Such a beautiful area.

Campground is clean and well maintained. Camp host was friendly, attentive & diligent. Beautiful area. 4 stars not 5 because several people did not follow the dogs on leash rule and I had one dog charge my dog which was very scary. Also, the bathroom near our site was out of order and by the end of the weekend, the outhouses got pretty full.

Beautiful campground with a beautiful lake to walk around. Verizon is ok in spots. AT&T doesn’t work well here. We work from our van, so luckily our Starlink works well.

Nice camp ground and beautiful lake. The lake was jam packed with fish. Cows and deer near camp site. Nice camp host. Cons: had to ask for day use pass, fire ring was not cleaned out. And both bathrooms at our campsite loop were closed had to walk to neighboring loop for bathroom and those ones had no lighting in them and one door didn't lock. Despite all that, the bathrooms were clean. Also some of the area is burned from fires but still nice scenery.

This is a very nice campground, it is quiet and peaceful but the lake is within walking distance of the campground. We usually camp here at least once a year and it is still kept very clean by the hosts. The campground has electric hookups and flush toilets. The trees have been thinned due to logging because of the pine beetle infestation. Most sites have at least some shade.

Well run campground in the gorgeous Canyon Lakes region. Clean facilities in a beautiful surrounding. Short walk to the lake to fish or explore, and great for kids...plenty of nearby hiking trails and lots of hungry trout in Bellaire Lake.

Lot of Chipmunk 🐿. The lake was good but people was catching some small fish (about 10 to 11 inches). Plus lots of poeple fishing. The wild flower around there are pretty (THANK YOU FOR NOT PICKING THEM).

Don’t stay in site 8 if it rains your campsite floods as this site is at the bottom of the hill which doesn’t say in the reservation description so just be aware there will be mud campground is maintained good just this site too wet be careful where you place your tent in the tent pad as there’s a drain for the water so it gets muddy and stays wet. It’s always very windy here. Att cell service was good also got a few tv stations just off the rv antenna. Also be aware there is no rv dump station here and no way to fill your tanks with water except filling 5 gallon jugs ,

We stayed at the Bellaire Campground for the first time this year. The atmosphere is fantastic, and the spots are all great…. Except spot 7. The spot itself is fine, however backing into this spot may present a challenge to those not super comfortable backing in their rigs. It’s a steep incline with a narrow road to maneuver. That said, everything else was fine. The facilities were well kept and the hosts were friendly. The lake had unbelievable activity and we were able to walk away with a catch ourselves. I’m coming back here, just not to spot 7 lol.

Camp area was very nice but the camps are very close to each other. Camp host was great and very nice

Campsites are well spaced out with plenty of shade and privacy provided by the trees. The camp hosts were super friendly. The only minus is that the bathrooms and water hydrants are closed due to maintenance needed.
