Hands-down, one of the most beautiful places in the greater Front Range area. The off-leash dog beach is incredible! $10 for the whole day, which is a great deal. The views are stunning from every angle - the mountains, the lake, green space. Very well-maintained and plenty of parking, at least on the weekdays. I hear that the weekends get crazy-crowded, but I still think it's worth it. Enjoy!

Super impressed with this little gem. Very peaceful. Great for SUP & kayaking. Employees are really nice. 100000000 times better than Boulder Reservoir. No ridiculous rules! Affordable entrance fee.

I love to do stand up paddle boarding but in Colorado all the flat water places are so boring. I finally found something that works for me and my lifestyle. The first challenge I came across at the beginning was finding the entry it's a little hard to spot but just look hard enough. Second thing is I don't really love how dirty the water is. But all of this is nothing becouse, they have great service, and it's cheap. Plus all the people there are so supportive of new people. So I gave it 4 stars.

This is a great place to bring your paddle board or kayak. The reservoir isn’t usually too busy during the week, but weekends can get busy pretty early. The dog beach is currently closed because of covid. Also worth noting - the dog beach is not fenced in so this wouldn’t be a good place to bring your pup if they don’t stay close by.

The beach and Lake look nice, but being a low-income family, we have been searching for clean beaches and lakes to swim in, and we spent our entire Labor Day weekend saturday, driving around to a different lakes and rivers, trying to find a place to swim. We finally found Union beach, and they wanted to charge us around $12 per person for a family of four, that is very difficult on low-income. These cities should not be charging for swimming holes, it is highway robbery!

Can be busy at times, but it is a gorgeous lake to fish close to I25! We have caught Rainbow trout, LMB, SMB, Perch, and Walleye in this lake, right off the shore. Sunsets over the mountains make it a picture perfect lake to enjoy evening fishing or just a nice evening walk.

Awesome dog beach with incredible views and well kept facilities. Our dogs had so much fun! We’ve been coming to this beach for years every time we are in town. Great spot!

Had a great time at the dog beach with our pups on a hot day. It has gotten much more expensive to hang out here, so that's a bummer. We did also have a lot of fun on the swim beach, floating around in our inner tubes. All in all it was a fun day!

The reservoir itself is very nice. The kiosk staff ditto. The rangers varied from very heavy handed to reasonable. The instructions from event staff didn’t match the rangers on the water, one of whom delighted in making wakes for the paddle boarders. We also had terrible experience with the Conccessionaires for the paddle boards. Don’t rent on site. Rude , entitled and burned out teenagers. Rent before you go.

This place is a ton of fun. I like that they have grills and picnic tables for you to use. My suggestion is to get there early to get a good spot.

Great place to hang out with family, friends, or colleagues. It is kept well, clean, and very safe. Huge thank you to all the Rangers, life guards, and staff!

I got the lesson from Groupon for $60, my daughter, and enjoyed the lesson and the water time. It's nice in the morning. However, it started getting g a bit crowded towards noon

NO PARKING ON THE ROAD OUTSIDE ENTRANCE WHEN AT FULL CAPACITY! THERE ARE PEOPLE THAT LIVE OFF THE COUNTY ROAD!!

Great place to get out and paddle board without having to deal with too many boats.

Took the dogs here and loved it! Not too expensive to get in for the day especially so the pups can have some time to play in the water.

Love paddling at Union Reservoir! Get there early to beat the crowds. It's expensive for a day pass/ yearly pass and bring bug spray.

We went on a Saturday around 1030. Had about a 15 minute line to get in but once in there was plenty of parking. Plenty of space at the dog swim beach especially if you walk towards the end.

The dog beach here is fantastic!! The water was clean, there were probably 20 dogs out when we went but there is enough room for everyone to spread out so we weren't all on top of each other. I have kayaked out here before as well and really enjoyed it. I think I am going to get a season pass this year so I can take the dogs more often. The only thing keeping it from being 5 stars is parking. There is basically one lot and if you want to go down to the dog beach, that lot is not close. So if I go by myself it would be difficult for me to bring my kayak and my dog (with life jackets, etc) because the walk down is too far and I couldn't make it all in one trip.

Great place to put the paddle board in the water for a couple of hours. My visit was punctuated by witnessing an eagle snatch a trout out of the lake on the Fourth of July! America!! Pretty amazing for the eagle, but not so much the trout. 15 minute wait to get in. Parking was easy and close to shore

Gorgeous Resivoir with day camping, sailing, SUP and canoe rentals through RMP, sand volleyball, fishing, swimming and a playground gives something for everyone. Waits on the weekend can be 2 hours just to get in so go early.

We had a great time. We rented paddle boards and went out on the lake. It was busy but not crowded, we were able to go anywhere on the water. The kids had fun at the swim beach. All together a fun family day

Very nice swimming area and paddle boating area. Did not have much time to fish but others were catching fish left and right.

👍👍 My dog and I really enjoy this park. I go there for walking only, but they do have disk golf, baseball fields, pickleball, and a gravel track. They also have restrooms by the baseball fields, but I don't know if they are open year round. It is next to a school, so it is just a nice little complex to...
