My
parents
have
unfortunately
spent
a
lot
of
time
in
rehab
facilities
since
the
start
of
the
pandemic,
so
we
have
a
lot
of
experience
with
many
of
these
facilities.
This
is
the
first
one
this
family
has
felt
compelled
to
review
with
a
1
star
rating.
When
you
have
an
elderly
parent
in
hospital
or
rehab,
communication
is
key
to
them
getting
appropriate
care.
In
this
place
communication
is
zero.
It
took
call
after
miserable
call
to
get
any
information
at
all!
It
was
dismal.
The
staff
is
horrible.
There
was
one
good
nurse,
otherwise,
they
were
rude
and
unresponsive.
They
ignored
call
lights
to
the
point
that
my
dad
was
calling
me
almost
daily
asking
me
to
phone
the
nurses
station
to
get
him
help.
They
ignored
skin
tears
and
early
signs
of
breakdowns
and
would
leave
him
in
a
wheelchair
for
hours
at
a
time.
The
medical
staff
was
awful
as
well.
I
warned
them
that
my
dad
had
a
UTI
and
based
on
history
needed
immediate
care.
They
ignored
me!
Until
he
became
septic
and
ended
up
in
an
ICU--we
thought
we
were
going
to
lose
him!
Then
when
he
got
back,
they
lost
all
of
his
clothing
and
other
belongings.
it
took
8
phone
calls
over
a
10
day
period
to
finally
get
them
to
go
find
his
stuff!
The
whole
time,
he
was
in
a
hospital
gown
because
they
had
lost
his
clothes!
The
food
was
awful,
he
lost
around
20
lbs
while
in
this
place!
The
Covid
precautions
were
a
joke.
He
tested
positive
while
there
and
a
manager
still
encouraged
me
to
visit!
The
Exec
Director,
Todd
was
the
best
thing
about
this
place--if
you
could
manage
to
get
to
talk
to
him,
he
worked
hard
to
resolve
problems--but
getting
to
him
was
a
full
time
job!
The
draw
is
that
it
is
more
pleasant
to
go
to
a
rehab
that
is
not
in
a
nursing
home---but
avoid
this
place!
It
was
the
absolute
worst
ever!!
