They treat their employees horribly, and clearly don't have the right management and staff to actually care for patients. Use a different rehab center, and don't work here. Edit: it's too bad this company wasn't committed to addressing or hardly even taking employee complaints seriously when I was there. Just goes to show that companies like these only respond to shame, or when their bottom line gets affected. I stand on my review. I have a hard time believing this company will do anything at all, and go right back to mistreating employees. Way to put on a public facade though.

My parents have unfortunately spent a lot of time in rehab facilities since the start of the pandemic, so we have a lot of experience with many of these facilities. This is the first one this family has felt compelled to review with a 1 star rating. When you have an elderly parent in hospital or rehab, communication is key to them getting appropriate care. In this place communication is zero. It took call after miserable call to get any information at all! It was dismal. The staff is horrible. There was one good nurse, otherwise, they were rude and unresponsive. They ignored call lights to the point that my dad was calling me almost daily asking me to phone the nurses station to get him help. They ignored skin tears and early signs of breakdowns and would leave him in a wheelchair for hours at a time. The medical staff was awful as well. I warned them that my dad had a UTI and based on history needed immediate care. They ignored me! Until he became septic and ended up in an ICU--we thought we were going to lose him! Then when he got back, they lost all of his clothing and other belongings. it took 8 phone calls over a 10 day period to finally get them to go find his stuff! The whole time, he was in a hospital gown because they had lost his clothes! The food was awful, he lost around 20 lbs while in this place! The Covid precautions were a joke. He tested positive while there and a manager still encouraged me to visit! The Exec Director, Todd was the best thing about this place--if you could manage to get to talk to him, he worked hard to resolve problems--but getting to him was a full time job! The draw is that it is more pleasant to go to a rehab that is not in a nursing home---but avoid this place! It was the absolute worst ever!!

I've read about how they treat their employees and clearly it affects the care of the patients too based on these other reviews. This place should be ashamed for how they treat their patients and employees. All around a terrible organizarion.

I recently had a 12 days stay at Sloan's Lake rehabilitation and it was quite a good experience. The staff is excellent and really care about your well being. You get to know everyone by name right away b/c they are so good at visiting to see how things are going. The nurses are top notch and are always on time with the correct medications. The food is really good and if you want something else you can just ask. the facility is clean and modern. Its really the staff though that makes Sloan's so special. I cant say enough about the really personal staff that watches over you. Sloan's Lake rocks !

Well here we are again dealing with the extreme incompetence of this facility. My significant other was sent home with discharge requirements for occupational and physical therapy . Sloans said Alliance would schedule. To our dissatisfaction we called Alliance and they told Sloans they had no one to accommodate his needs Stay clear if you want your loved one to receive necessary care .

Clearly playing clean-up after getting exposed online for their shady practices and the horrible way they treat employees. If you check their part reviews, this isn't the first time, either. Consistently detailed, terrible reviews from multiple patients and employees speak for themselves. This place clearly has a reputation for playing the PR game rather than taking any negative feedback seriously, it's a shame they would rather hide that than face these issues head-on. Just another example of a facility in the industry for the money rather than the careful care required for such a facility. I wouldn't reccomend this facility for a papercut, let alone my long term recovery. Do yourself a favor and choose a different facility.

The management team at Sloan's Lake is outstanding. It is very apparent the they have one mission and that is to provide outstanding care to their patients. The very aggressive position they have taken to prevent the introduction and potential spread of COVID-19 in their building is a model for other long term care facilities to follow. I would not hesitate to send my loved one to Sloan's for rehab or long term care.

This place is terrible! The negative reviews on here are ABSOLUTELY true! The nurses/cna staff take away the last shred of dignity these patients have! They are rude and always take forever to respond to the call light. They are rude upon arrival as if you needing help is such an inconvenience... Even though that is exactly what that place is for...REHAB... To get HELP!! They are not at all gentle when having to clean up a bathroom accident even though they took over an hr to respond to the call light for assistance. And after being transfered to another hospital and being admitted for a week the staff packed up the room and stole $10 That was stored in the night stand drawer. If at all possible... Dont come here! Dont send a loved one here! It is a HORRIBLE place to be if you need any kind of assistance.

I've been employed here almost a year. I'm honored to work with men & women who take bedside manner to a whole new level. I don't just say this because I'm an employee, My mom was a patient here & everyone from Dietary, to Nurse's to management & everyone in between went above & beyond to make her stay as comfortable as possible. Whether your looking for rehabilitation for self or loved one or an opportunity to work with an amazing team. Look no further. Let us Welcome you as part of our Family or by taking care of a family member.

My mother was sent here after a ruptured brain aneurysm. The first day she arrived she was sitting in a wheelchair and fell face first on to the floor. She hit her head and had a huge gash and the staff didn’t send her to a hospital she sat there for 2 days before a Dr would come see her and when the dr did come she sent my mom straight to the ER. My mother was then dropped again on Saturday. I got no calls either time she fell! Just walked in to find her head bloody and her back bruised. We rang call light 3 different times didn’t see anyone for over 30 minutes. Dirty blankets wer left on the floor and each staff member walked by them or said I’ll find someone to pick them up. My mother was soaking wet with urine while the CNA played with her dtr and the med tec played on her phone. WORST PLACE EVER!!!!!!!!!!! If you love your family member do not let them go here!!

There was only one employee who gave any indication of that he cared about his patients. The others gave the impression they could care less. We more than likely got a response of “I’ll look into it”, but you knew damned well they were only going to forget what was asked as soon as they walked out the door. One example of their caring was when my sister said she was loosing weight, the nurse replied, “That’s not my bailiwick.” There was no follow up to see why she was losing weight. It did no good to complain to management. Apparently, employees not caring about their patients was not in their bailiwick.

From a health professional standpoint, this is a great facility. They are easy to coordinate care with, take time to make sure their patients are well taken care of. I'm especially impressed with the room size (large doors for wheelchair accessibility) and all are private rooms, so no roommates. The staff are friendly, accommodating and truly care about their patients. Sometimes the therapy departments even perform home assessments prior to someone discharging to ensure a safe departure to home! I would recommend this facility.

They care. They listen. They arm family with education, and information to keep their loved ones out of the hospital. I’m truly impressed with what I have witnessed and I would recommend them for my immediate family..

I work in Assisted Living/Memory Care communities in Lakewood, and when our residents need rehabilitative services, Sloan's Lake sets a high standard for quality of care and professionalism. I am always confident in their abilities and know that our residents are in good hands when they choose Sloan's Lake. The team is extremely responsive, friendly, and reliable. They will make the entire experience seamless from admission to discharge. The therapy team is also top-notch. Every room has a beautiful view. I highly recommend giving them a call, or better yet going in for a tour and meeting the team.

Sloan's Lake Rehab has a professional staff. Extremely efficient and well trained staff from the CNA's RN's, Doctors and O/T and P/T. My mother had a view of the mountains and lake and was a plus for her rehab.

Sloan lake rehab. My brother was 69 years old. Besides my brother catching Mersa there. These idiots were training him to go up and down stairs with a adjustable shower chair. Also training him to walk with a walker with one leg. Dangerous. He fell several times the. They were training a lady In her 70s to walk with one leg on a walker. Despicable place. Very dangerous. My brother when he got home went up and fown the stairs by just sitting on the ground. [Much safer) can you imagine using a shower chair on the stairs and the patient has to pull them selves up on a shower Chair that could go tumbling down the stairs.

My significant other is currently at the Sloans Rehab.. I am so frustrated with the quality of care that is given. I am in the healthcare industry and know how very trying working in a rehab can be. He had surgery on both legs and requires a skilled nursing facility due to not being able to bare any weight on his legs. He was told he would get a bath on Mondays and Thursdays- after asking to get cleaned up. No mention earlier of the days. The staff have also ignored the call button-he needs ice on his legs. I arrive to 2 bags of water filled ice packs. He was told he refused to be weighed. This is untrue. We have requested a meeting with the business office with no response. Dont get me started on the quality of the meals. Please someone improve your care.. Heartless

Horrible facility. They treated my dad with complete disrespect, ignoring his call buttons, ignoring food requests, never answering the phone, and treating him like he was a burden. I mean the guy just had an aneurism, I would have expected a lot more grace and understanding from a REHAB hospital. I'm glad we got him outta there.
