😠 A cheap joke! Pay less, wait longer, and the flight attendants are rude!! Especially Flight 741 has been my first and last flight; a chubby brunette lady & a blonde lady has been so dramatic and stressing me out the beginning of the trip! I’m glad their airlines are separate, so I can tell people no... People often mention flight, Frontier, service, customer, bags, airline, gate, Denver, agent, people,

A cheap joke! Pay less, wait longer, and the flight attendants are rude!! Especially Flight 741 has been my first and last flight; a chubby brunette lady & a blonde lady has been so dramatic and stressing me out the beginning of the trip! I’m glad their airlines are separate, so I can tell people not to fly this airline for stress and an automatic late stop—-especially if it’s non-stop flight!! If you HAVE to fly this one, you’ll be on-time! The embarrassing part is they have an eagle as a representative of their flight, when an eagle would’ve been more reliable!!! If you look really clear, you see the rude ladies standing in the back!! The blonde and the chubby brunette lady!!

A poor experience from top to bottom. Want to book your flight, their software and websites are horrible. I have a miles account and the customer service couldn't even help me recover it. All they suggested is wait 24 hours and try the reset button again This is a sign of a business that has failing technology. Think you are getting a good deal? Maybe if you only fly with a personal item. Otherwise your better off flying a mainstream airline. By some stroke of luck your flight is ahead of schedule? Doesn't matter, their operations are so poor that this is an anomaly. Did I mention they have very few gates at airports. This mean that when you land there are planes occupying your space so you wait an extra 45 minutes. Frontier airlines, a horrid customer experience. Their executive leadership team needs to be replaced.

I understand why Frontier exists - to give flight attendants a way to travel and be paid, oh, and to let people pay for a late flight with uncomfortable seats in an airline version of a flying VW bug. The flight staff (4 of them) on our afternoon trip from Cancun to Denver on May 22 spent about an hour to an hour and 1/2 of the flight just chatting and catching up and not bothering to check on passengers - not a SINGLE ONE of them. The flight left late, as did the flight from Denver 6 days earlier. I paid for seating, and it was essentially the same as everyone else's, so...what's the point? I'm very happy that I helped pay for this staff to enjoy their flight, because *I* sure didn't. As other reviews say, you get what you pay for, and an extra $50 a person will get you a much better airline, and no carry-on fee with a much better experience - I've learned my lesson.

My family travels often, about 10 flights per year. My kids carry their bags and know exactly what to bring, because we do not check bags, ever. I bought convertible garment backpacks that have extra pockets but are small to bring as a personal item and had NEVER had an issue. The lady who acted as the owner of the last FRONTIER continued to send passengers back and told us to pay $99 per bag. She was the rudest person to ever work in the airline industry. The majority of passengers boarding had to pay or leave their belongings. She made my grandmother (in a wheelchair) go in by herself while she checked the rest of our family about 10 times. At one point a passenger that was in line started recording and she threatened to take away his phone or not let him in the plane if he didn’t delete the photo/video. I requested the name of the employee but was told she was contracted but not an employee. Frontier your passengers are being humiliated and mistreated please make sure that they do their job while being courteous and treating people with respect. This woman had no shame, she called an artist passenger a drunk because he didn’t have money to pay for his backpack that was a bit bulky and he threw all his clothes away (EVERYTHING had to fit evenly, well within the small compartment and inside your bag, not even a strap could come close to the edge) I will try to speak to a human but doubt we’ll get help

How is it fair they charge you $99 to rebook you if you miss your flight after it delayed several times? How is it they charge you for seats...bagage... lugage($77.00) oh and say we have no control everything is in the computer we can't comp, we can't do anything....wow great customer service. Spoke with a manager who stated I could buy a new ticket for $253 one way...sorry that's not what I asked. I asked if I could be re-booked I will save my money and start flying delta and southwest from now on

Frontier Airlines is a joke. I would give them a zero star. They overcharge for the bags. The agents were terrible and used their authority to prevent customers from boarding the plane. They are making triple the money by charging people for missing flights and charging for the bags. It is better to pay for a different airline with more comfortable seats and better customer service. Customer service is horrible out of the Denver airport, and that is where the Frontier hub is. The agents don't listen to customers' complaints. Frontier will soon fly with empty seats due to their attitude and their agents' cocky manners.

Pure nightmare. 1st I'd like to say the way they speak to customers is so unbelievably rude and condescending, especially over their loud speakers. Delayed our flight yesterday by 4 hours. They yelled at everyone to board at 130am, everyone is boarded, over an hour with no pilots in a hot plane, keep being told captain is on the way, then told rudely to depart the plane its being delayed 12 more hours. I truly felt bad for all the elderly and parents with little kids and babies. The chain reaction on just my life will be felt for years to come as I was trying to get to Florida to see a critically ill parent. There is so much more to say about what I witnessed by Frontier employees that I just can't even go there. I will say that if you work for Frontier, you should be so ashamed of your company and get out and let it go under.

TERRIBLE! Would give 0 stars if I could. Flew Frontier on multiple occasions before and never had any issues… until today. Just goes to show how one bad experience can ruin all of the previous experiences you’ve had. Had a connecting flight in Denver and the customer service there is an absolute joke. Extremely disrespectful and rude. They had a person checking bag sizes and my personal item was a bit too big for the sizer. It fit with a little squeezing, nothing too major but they insisted that it had to fit perfectly so I had to pay an extra $100 to carry it on or else they wouldn’t let me on. Ridiculous. This was my first time having to check the size of my bag in the luggage sizer so I don’t know if they are getting stricter or what but I do know that when I was on my earlier flight, I had no problems whatsoever. Bag fits easily under the seat with room to spare so I know it’s not about space. I informed the gate agent of this and she didn’t care that I was on an earlier flight and the bag fit under the seat. I then told her I was seated in the first row and that my bag would have to be put in the overhead cabin anyways and she said that didn’t matter. The bag checker then told me that it doesn’t matter where the bag goes it still has to fit in the dimensions saying that even if my bag did fit the sizer it can be placed anywhere, saying personal items can go in the overhead bin. They don’t care about space. They only care about MONEY. The dimensions aren’t for making sure your bag fits in the plane, it’s for making sure they can take advantage of you and take as much money from you as they can. Worst part was when talking with the gate agent, she clearly didn’t want to talk to me or listen to anything I had to say unless it was to pay the extra fee and kept turning away from me as I was talking to her. So much for “customer service”. At least the flight attendants were nice. I guess I was just lucky that it took this long to run into a bad experience. Don’t fly with Frontier, it’s not worth it. Won’t be flying with them again after this experience.

Do not fly with Frontier if you are in the military. You will have a 5 hour delay that causes you to be stranded in Denver. I am supposed to be working at 06:30 in the morning but here I am reviewing at 00:13.

Travelled DTW to Denver on 5th August. Plane delayed for technical issues. Missed my conneting flight to Lubbck (United Airlines ) for the delay of frontier. Next available flight is on nextday! The customer service experience was third class, aweful. The lady from the customer service wasnot even interested to talk with me. She was on phone call at the middle of our talk. I asked for voucher for hotel or food because of their delay i missed my second flight. But she looked upset and angry when i asked for the voucher. That was totally unprofessional and rude behaviour. I will never travel with frontier if i have alternative. I think the customer service guy need to some basic psychological training. On the other hand, Lady from United Airlines (B95 gate and Customer Service close to B39) welcomed me with smile and their behaviour was so good. They tried their best to solve my issue. But somehow they also failed.

Our flight was canceled an hour before the flight was supposed to take off. We were told because the staff "timed out". How was this not known 8 plus hours before? So my wife and I go to the ticket counter with the rest of the entire flight passengers, wait almost 2 hours to get to the counter just for the Frontier employee to tell us the next available flight is 2 days away! The employee seemed just as frustrated as us because they can only do what the computer allows them to. Frontier won't compensate us for the inconvenience and added expense of a hotel room, food, transportation and loss of wages! In the end we had to pay almost 200 dollars for the next day flight...  THAT THEY DIDN'T SEE ON THEIR END! We found it on our own. Paid for a rental car to travel to a family members house in the middle of the night so we weren't stuck at the airport. Had to pay for dinner that night,  breakfast and lunch on our 6 hour layover because that was the only flight available! So in total almost a thousand dollars between the unexpected added expenses and the loss of wages!

If there was less than one star I would use it. Craziest boarding I have ever seen in my whole life, we fit our bags but she forces us to pay $200 although we asked to see the customer service she said No, pay or you will miss flight, Never ever try it , see my picture

If you enjoy vague descriptions, frustration, stress, and hidden fees, then Frontier Airlines is right for you. For example, $25.00 to print boarding passes since I couldn't access my QR code because their website "sometimes goes down". That sounds like a technical problem not a passenger problem. Secondly, if you plan on flying with a carry on or checked baggage, you better pay that fee when buying your ticket or you'll be slapped with a $114.00 dollar fee to check your baggage at the front counter. In saying all that, you're better off getting a slightly more expensive ticket with a better airline because you may end up paying that price in fees anyway. Save yourself the stress, fly with someone else.

Today I experienced the most awful treatment from frontier airlines staff as well as one of the highest levels of disrespect that I have coming from a customer service agent in my life. First I stood at the counter to get the tickets situated as me and my minor children were in completely separate sections of the plane. I waited almost 10 minutes for the gate agent to even acknowledge my existence. While waiting for the gate agent to speak or let me know that she is aware that I am standing directly in front of her, which I was standing directly in front of the counter and was the only customer at the counter. The gate agent performed some duties on her computer, checked in the entire flight crew, and by the way was very polite to them. She then badged them in followed them onto the craft, was gone a few minutes and came back and started back typing on her computer, still did not acknowledge me for a few more minutes. Finally she says, "yeah you are just standing here" and I responded yes I am standing here waiting on assistance and I've been standing here close to 10 minutes. The gate agent goes on to say that she was helping another customer, there was no other customer only me and now there was two more customers behind me. I tell the gate agent me and my minor children have been separated in our seating assignments and she rudely said well how old are they. I responded 3,5 and 9. I was attempting to tell the gate agent that she was very rude and very unprofessional and the least she could of done was acknowledge that I was there and let me know she would be to me. This gate agent automatically accused me of arguing with her and begins telling me she can refuse me to get on the aircraft because I was being disruptive, I never even raised my voice. Moving along I get in line with my three children and when I approach to scan our boarding passes, the same gate agent says "why are you in line I didn't call you", I said "you called families with children age 3 and younger and my baby is 3" I said this while pointing at my baby and the gate agent says, "well he doesn't look 3" immediately lots of passengers in line are in awe, lots apologizing to me for how she is acting and saying how rude, disrespectful and unprofessional this agent was. I say mam my baby is three don't you have the birthday I have to enter the birthday to purchase the ticket, she then tells me she is going to refuse me boarding and now I'm get upset. So I'm like you going to refuse me boarding because I'm pointing out my baby is three why would I lie and say he is 3 if I was going to lie I would say he is 2 so he can fly free, what sense does it make to lie and say he is 3. She then tells me I have too many bags so that's why she is refusing me to enter, so I point out this is our food and each child has one bag. She then tells me my bags are too big too which I put them in the personal item bin and they all fit. I asked her what's the problem now, she states she is going to call the supervisor because I shouldn't be allowed to get on the plane. She calls the supervisor, the supervisor says the problem is I have too many bags and would not even listen to me when I was attempting to explain that the problem started when she took 10 minutes to acknowledge me and then said rudely "well he don't look 3" about my baby. Now I put my purse and laptop in our personal bags and they are still allowed as personal items so then, once I made clear I wanted to file a complaint there was a third lady that again made me measure my bags again and told me if I wanted to file a complaint it would take a while and I would not be able to board my flight, and no one would give their names, no one had a name showing. This was the connecting flight leaving Denver, Colorado flight 2148 at 6am

Terrible customer service, I realize why they have such low ratings. I fly from Denver to Charlotte. I pa8d extra, $124 with all the fees, for an exit row seat. I'm a big guy and like extra legroom. However I was assigned a regular, tight squeeze seat. I don't mind but I paid quite a bit extra for exit row seat. Somehow it was assigned to someone else. Also, two people seated in front of me said the same thing happened to them. We all paid extra for exit row seats but somehow didn't get it. Not sure how that's possible. I specifically selected the seat on the seat map. It even asked me if I was able to assist in case of emergency, which I confirmed yes. Not to mention the exorbitant charge for it. So, from now on I will avoid Frontier. I flew Charlotte to Denver with American Airlines and it was fine. I feel I eas robbed.

Waited 2 hours for my bags at the carousel. Witnessed many bags on many carousels flow through but never mine. Went to service desk to file a missing bag report and was told I couldn't and that I would just have to wait longer to see if it comes. I left as it was already 2am on a Sunday. Completed the lost/delayed baggage form on their site and never received a call from frontier. I then called their baggage line and was told that the ticket says Denver baggage called me and stated I declined them shipping my bags and I would have to pick them up in person. I never received a call and most definitely did not deny them shipping my luggage to me as it's a 4 hour round trip to the airport. The service lady said someone would call to try to schedule a shipment. But once again I never received a call and was sent an email saying I would have to come pick them up at the airport again. I don't know how this company can stay in business with this complete lack of customer service.

Absolutely terrible airline and completely inferior in terms of technology, reliability, and service compared to every other airline. Flight times are always late, super delayed, or changing and they frequently change the departure gate on you last minute as well. The mobile app doesn’t update and tell you that and neither does your mobile boarding pass! They will say the old time and old gate still just to take peoples money. Lastly as everyone almost knows by now, they charge a fee for literally everything they possibly can!

I have travelled on Frontier airlines multiple times because of their competitive pricing. You definitely get what you pay for with this company. Delayed flights are a common occurrence as well as employees who could care less about customer service.

Flew from Denver to Atlanta and back this weekend. I read a lot of bad reviews, so I was hesitant. But aside from the long TSA line in Atlanta (which is not Frontier's fault) the experience was great. The flight attendants were very professional, friendly, helpful, efficient. I observed them politely asking people to switch seats so that parents and kids could sit together, helping people find space in the overhead bins, and just over-all being there for us. As long as you know what you are getting yourself into. It's not like 20 years ago when flights included checked bags, movies and snacks, and the airlines treated you like you were special! You're just not that special anymore. Pay attention to what your ticket includes in terms of bags and restrictions! Make sure you have your boarding pass! Taking a screenshot or pic on your phone also works! Arrive early and be patient. Things are constantly changing in this world, so be ready to adapt. (Calmly) Be smart. Nobody is holding your hand unless you shell out more money, so tough it out, people.

Frontier Customer Service Center (DEN) Airline compensation for a flight delay +3 hours: Frontier Meal Voucher, Room Voucher, free return flight. Made a visit to the customer service counter between A36 and A38 DEN. This task helped to claim a quick compensation for a tarmac delay. Interesting thing was to get Shelly the Sea Turtle as a plane tail livery for the return trip. Overall many stars.

If you want to speak by phone with a live Customer service person with English you can understand, you have chosen the WRONG Airline. If you figure out how to locate and use Frontiers live chat and type really fast, you have better chance of feeling good about Frontier. Warning, if you don't join the Discount Den, or pay for the costly "works" bundle, good luck on making flight changes or cancellation and loosing your hard earned money.

I appreciate the fact that Frontier charges less to fly, but its conduct is unacceptable. First, it cancelled my outbound flight and demanded that I accept being placed on a later one or get a refund. That flight was too late, so I attempted to cancel it and manually book on an earlier one -- I could see there was space available. Doing so changed my roundtrip flight into a one-way one from a city in which I do not live back to Denver and Frontier's web app wouldn't let me book an outbound flight. After two hours waiting in chat, Frontier finally put me on an earlier flight. For my return flight, Frontier first delayed it twenty minutes, supposedly to accommodate a late arriving flight, but once aboard, sent another message notifying me of an additional forty-seven minute delay due to "customer service needs"; that was an outright lie -- immediately thereafter, the Captain announced that we were delayed due to a technical fault. Airline passengers count on their flights keeping to a schedule -- if Frontier can't, perhaps it should become a charter.

"Never" fly Frontier airlines. I accidentally double booked a flight back from Phoenix while dealing with a death in the family while in distress in December of 2023 They are refusing to refund my $295.00 after I explained my state of mind and what I was going through. These people are absolutely horrible. I am a 61 year old man who would have rather been able to speak rather than chat, which is the only way to communicate with them. Avoid this airline at all costs. I was warned not to use them, but I did anyway. I am so angry about those greedy, uncaring people it makes me sick. AVOID AVOID AVOID this awful airline. Notice Frontier does not respond to any comments on this site. That says a lot about the filth they are. They don't care.

Avoid this deceptive Frontier airline! They lure you in with low prices, then hit you with a $198 luggage fee, falsely claiming your baggage is oversized. Despite fitting within the measurements, they refuse boarding unless you pay. Over half the passengers on my flight faced this oversize fee. a female attendant who wearing a headscarf, displayed extreme rudeness and insolent , pushing elderly and children, even throwing passengers' clothes from their bags. Frontier airline is a SCAM airline – won't be flying with them again!
