Nice hotel, poor hospitality. I have never had a hotel actually enforce an early check-in fee. Normally, you ask if the room is ready and it either is or it isn't and if it is, they will check you in. I was explaining this to the lady working the front desk and all she had to respond was "really? oh, well that is our company policy." No sympathy and kind of rude how she was basically blowing me off. $30 isn't a lot of money, but it is the principle. When I previously stayed in Denver at the AC Hotel, I forgot about the check-in time and showed up at 11am. Instead of demanding I pay a fee, they actually upgraded my room so that I could go ahead and get settled at no extra charge. When I stayed at The Thompson Denver (another Hyatt brand hotel), after checking out of the Hyatt Centric, I showed up at 1pm and they checked me in without even a mention of it being before my check-in time or trying to hit my wallet for some silly fee. On top of all of that, the valet was $49 a night and was only referenced on the website as "guests can use valet service for an additional fee" - conveniently leaving out the fact that it was going to add up to an additional night's stay. I really never felt like a guest at this hotel, but a customer. To top it all off, when I checked out the Hotel was holding $660 on my bank account even though I had already prepaid for my stay and should have only been held for incidentals. When I called the property, the same front desk lady answered the phone and said that this shouldn't be correct and they only show the incidentals on their end, but that they could do some more investigating and call me back. I asked her to please do that and to also have the property manager give me a call at her earliest convenience. I never received a call back.

Hyatt Globalist member. Check in was quick and easy. Greeted as globalist, provided water, and breakfast process explained. Being a new hotel rooms are clean and in great shape, shower is large, and bed is comfortable. Room was on the inside (not facing street so no issues with noise). Spent about an hour at the bar before close and the staff was very nice and efficient. Large wine selection, good beer and cocktail selection. I did notice the light flashing on the fire alarm other reviewers have whined about but didn’t really think it impacted sleep or anything (it wasn’t making noise like I saw others mention). Next morning had the globalist breakfast (just a slimmer down regular breakfast menu at Apple Blossom but still plenty of options) and thought the breakfast burrito was great. Service was again fast and friendly. Since the property doesn’t have a lounge, it is nice to be able to get breakfast at a full service restaurant versus limited options in the lounge a lot of other hotels in the area do. Excited to have another good Hyatt option in the area and will return.

The rooms were updated and clean. The bathroom had a Dry Bar hair dryer which had I realized I would have left behind and has extra space in my luggage lol. Awesome addition and I used it anyways 😂 I used the fitness center.. it was clean and all the equipment was new. They actually had a lot of stuff in there and it was nice. The only gripe I have was the bar closed at 10 PM. The restaurant inside had the best eggs I've ever had in my whole life and the guy working there was nice and attentive. At night it seemed like they were rushing you out and as a single woman traveling alone I would have preferred to stay in the hotel bar and have some drinks that late. However, the hotel itself was amazing. Maybe chill on the $7 water, but there's a 7 eleven literally 2 seconds on down the same block. Also I walked to the main strip from there at night. Safe and close enough for sure. Amazing stay!

Really cool Hyatt brand. Really new hotel that opened early 2022. Love the hard surface floors in the bedrooms, it feels much cleaner this way. The decor, friendliness of staff, and location blew me away. The only downside was the breakfast starts kind of late compared to other hotels. Not ideal for early flights. There's a few breakfast spots/coffee shops close by so not a huge issue. Would definitely stay again!

This hotel was luxury on a budget. I’ve never been in a room that clean and modern before, and I am a frequent traveler! Was immediately impressed by the beautiful design, the room was spacious, and the bathroom had the best shower! There are also nice touches like automatic motion detector floor and bathroom night lights which made it easy to get up in the middle of the night without waking my friend up. The bathroom products were great smelling too. When we arrived, we were greeted by the GM Colleen. She was so friendly and clearly was trying to make all the guests feel welcome. I think this hotel is brand new, so I’m surprised by the lackluster overall rating but don’t be deterred because you can get a great deal. My only criticism is the parking situation. It’s $40+ for valet with the hotel which is frankly absurd. We were able to park in a garage a block away for half the cost. It was also strange because when we called to ask where we should park, the front desk attendant warned us that our car would get broken into if we parked on the street. The area seemed nice and I didn’t notice any suspicious activity during my stay, so it seemed like a strange tactic to get people to pay for their overpriced parking. Notwithstanding, I still greatly enjoyed my stay.

Bed was comfortable, but you had to leave the headboard light on top charge anything/ have anything plugged in. I needed to use a heating pad, but would have had to sleep with a light on all night to do so. Told front desk about it, he asked why I didn't call the night before... when we already had a baby sleeping in the room... said he would send maintenance up, but nothing was fixed. The roof would have been a great spot for my group to hang out, but they need some space heaters for the winter months.

This hotel is an ideal location. Right in downtown around everything that's happening. If what you're looking for is not right here, it's not going to be very far away from here. The staff were very welcoming when we arrived and helpful. The rooms are very nice and comfortable.

The hotel itself is modern, clean, quiet, safe, and in a good location. Lots of things to do, see, and eat in the area and very walkable. What makes this a 5 star rating though is the staff! During our stay the staff were very friendly and helpful at every interaction. Post check out we had some 3rd party billing issue through no fault of the hotel and were given a duplicated charge. Sierra was incredibly kind and helpful to get it resolved and went above and beyond to support us in navigating through the 3rd party billing issue. 10/10 would recommend staying here and would absolutely stay here again, although we will book directly with the hotel instead of 3rd party.

The front desk staff was rude, the rooftop bar staff was rude and did not open on time, housekeeping entered our room twice even with a do not disturb notice on the door. The restaurant staff were unavailable and rude. The bright shining star of the staff was the coffee house team. They were friendly even under pressure of a long line. The senior staff member at the coffee area was patient kind and supportive as she helped train the new staff member. I was so impressed with them I personally told them what rockstars they are and thanked them for their amazing service!

Rooms are nice and updated, but quite small. My wife and I enjoyed our stay. It is pricey, but then everything in Denver is. Close enough to the walking mall (unfortunately very much under construction) to have you within walking distance of many restaurants and shopping. The neighborhood is quite sketchy - due to the city, not the hotel. Top notch workout facility, and nice on-site restaurant. The roof top patio is spectacular!

Amazing hotel, great customer service! The young lady at the front desk very professional, friendly and super helpful! The bartender (can’t remember her name) she’s amazing! Everyone has a great friendly personality. Rooms super clean! And beautiful views of the city from the rooftop.

I've been visiting & enjoying a few Hyatt hotels in the last few years. By now, I know what to expect: upscale design and materials, professional staff, clean and comfortable rooms. This Hyatt is in a great location, right in the middle of all the most popular downtown Denver attractions. Grabbing a coffee on the first floor Cafe before kicking off your explorations is a great way to start the day.

This was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had in a long time. The hotel was very clean and well designed. Our room with a king bed was spacious and very quiet. The fitness center is great and has a good free weight set up plus a peloton bike, and several treadmills. We also had breakfast at the hotel restaurant and really enjoyed the breakfast sandwich with potatoes. Will definitely return on our next trip to Denver.

My sister and I stayed three nights at the Hyatt Centric Downtown Denver. The room was immaculate. So clean. The beds were very soft and comfy. Housekeeping only comes after the third day so we had to actually call down for more coffee pods, and they brought them lickety split. The hotel is located in a central downtown location and we were able to walk to most of our destinations. We used valet parking, which was a bit pricey but well worth the extra cost. I would highly recommend this hotel.

This was me and my friend’s first time visiting Denver and this hotel definitely exceeded our expectations! The location is everything, the service and staff is phenomenal, you get greeted with big genuine smiles, the decor is BEAUTIFUL... There’s so many great things I can say about this amazing hotel. Thank you for a wonderful stay, I will definitely be staying with you guys again!

The concierge was rude, would not allow me to check-in to our room even with our reservation number because it was under my partner’s name and I did not have his ID. When my partner arrived after his business meeting the concierge didn’t allow him to switch the room booking - he had paid extra for a whiskey tasting but details were not included on the Hyatt hotel booking site and we realized we couldn’t use the service. The valet was incredibly slow we waited over a half hour to get our car in the morning and we were the only people waiting at that time. On the flip side, the beds were comfortable and the room was quiet.

Very impressed with this hotel given the price point. Rooms are large, clean and love the wood floors. Cleaning and maintenance people are very attentive and friendly. Especially want to mention Angelica at the front desk - super helpful. Overall a great hotel located in a prime location for visiting downtown Denver.

The staff at this hotel and the restaurant are phenomenal. My wife had to travel to Denver for work on her 40th birthday. I called the hotel and the restaurant to have flowers put in her room with chocolate, wine, extra waters/snacks and the hotel arranged all of this in her room waiting for her to check-in. The staff was extremely accommodating and they went above and beyond to help make the day special for my wife. The rest of us joined her in the hotel a few days later and I cannot say enough good things about the staff at this hotel. The rooms are clean, the Wifi is great, and the staff cannot be beat. I highly recommend this hotel whether your trip is for business or pleasure.

For the price vs. quality ratio, this hotel is one of the worst I have stayed in. There is no pool or hottub and location really not near most venues. Maintenance had many issues, which included safe door would not stay close blocking entire room passage, light switch for left queen bed missing, wall paper above light near window was bubbling up and AC was hard to get room cold on shared system with motion sensor. The desk chair had no rollers that created loud dragging noise when moved on the hard wood floor above me. The right side queen bed did not have enough space to get out on one side. The top floor restaurant and lobby both were not open Saturday morning at 7 am for breakfast. I did go to Syrup across the street, which was probably better anyway. I called the front desk to get a refrigerator brought up to my room and said none available according to housekeeping. I then went out on 12 floor where my room was to look for ice only to find out that housekeeping was not working and had to go down to the 11th floor. The housekeeping supervisor who helped me asked if I needed anything else. I said a refrigerator. Magically, in less than 2 minutes, I have refrigerator front desk said did not exist. Like the MGM Grand in Vegas, the bathroom and closet have shared sliding doors, which is a nuisance. Can only access the closet or bathroom one at a time. The bathroom itself is small as well and hardly unable by 2 people. The good parts all center around housekeeping. The room was clean with a fresh leather smell. They got me the refrigerator that the front desk couldn't. The front desk did do great early checkin on the high floor, but late checkout was buggy and almost got charged for the late fee since the app was lost. The mobile key was broken as well. Overall, there are lots more problems than usual. Hopefully, some of these get fixed in the future.

Everything was great except the fact that I guess irons have been replaced with funky not effective steamers, I had to have guest service hunt me down an iron and board, but they did it. Also, the coffee maker water reservoir was nasty as someone from long ago put grounds in there and no one has cleaned it. Housekeeping NEVER opens the water lid I'm sure and probably no one has complained about it so it's gone unaddressed. Check-in and check-out was a breeze and I not only was able to check in early on a Saturday, but also received a room upgrade.

The room rate is overpriced. The quality is 3 star at the most like Best Western kind. It’s very cheap quality and just so so services. Not too much interaction with staff but they have very cheap and low quality toothbrushes - at least Not 4 star hotel standard. valet parking $60 is insane. The rooms are ok just not priced correctly .

Brand new hotel right in downtown. The rooms are lovely and comfortable. The people at the front desk were friendly. The valet was helpful and prompt; never waited more than a few minutes for our car. Convenient cafe and restaurant in the lobby area. I would stay here again if I returned to Denver.

Great hotel, the room was nice but some issues with people outside driving race cars/motorcycles all night. Bed was not what I'm used to but they never are at hotels, service was fantastic, very nice people and when the rooftop restaurant was open the service was great too. We spent a lot of time on the top floor terrace and that is such a nice area, we had a lot of fun!

First thing we encounter when we got to the hotel is that there is no parking on site, but they have a VERY small space for a valet. It is an alleyway. Which was full when we arrived. We were able to pull the car in and there was only a girl at the counter who quickly told us that she was not the valet and that she was just helping out. She gave us the ticket, and all was well. The night at the hotel was ok. We went for a Rockies game and wanted to stay late. Woke up the next morning, went to collect my car. Noticed that the center console had been riffled though and my stuff had been taken out. I realized that a wallet with store cards was stolen. Leaving cards in my car in Denver is a bad move on my part, I know, but figured they were hidden, and we are paying $59 a night to keep my car safe so it shouldn't be an issue. Told the guy at the valet booth that my wallet had been stolen. He looked at me like a deer in headlights. It took him several minutes to come up with a plan. He brings me out a form to fill out, which ended up not being a form to fill out. he then brings me a sticky note pad and tells me to put my name and phone number on it and if anything comes up, they will call me. he also provided me with a business card. When I asked about bringing in the police, he tells me I can call them. So I did and I filed a report on the phone but the police also didn't come out. I let everyone know that my car was not broken into so it was either one of their valets or they left the car unlocked. Either way, the hotel was liable for any stolen items. The people at the hotel couldn't care less. We also started informing everyone who was waiting for their car to make sure nothing was stolen as well. We did find one other car that had a pair of sunglasses stolen. So long story short, do not use their valet because they do not care. If the hotel staff is so unfazed by a theft that was most likely done by a valet staff member, why would they be fazed by someone in housekeeping stealing from your room. We are supposed to feel safe leaving our things with valets and in our hotel rooms. What happened to the good Hyatt name?

As a lifetime Marriott platinum elite member I'm always a little worried when staying outside the portfolio but I have to admit that this was a terrific hotel that made me start to consider that I might be missing out on funky hotels like this by being so brand loyal. The restaurant was good, the service was great sand the rooms are amazing and fun. The beds were also fantastic!! I have zero complaints about this property and will most likely stay again.

Holy cow! This place is a gold mine. Bakery and grocery store stand out on their own as some rare finds for the entire state, but this kitchen has the best tamale in the entire state! Wrapped a banana Guatemalan style with exceptional authentic touches, just 2° below as good as mom makes. And outstanding restaurant selection and a diamond in the rough

First and foremost: The front desk staff was very kind and tried to be helpful. However, the hotel has a parking garage across the street that is horrible! The garage charged me $72.00 for staying ONE overnight. I addressed the front desk staff and they said to call the help on the ticket center in the garage because they would let me out since the ticket wouldn't work. Long story short: I ended up paying double and no one would/could help me. None of the rooms have microwaves which is inconvenient and the refrigerator is ridiculously small... even for a hotel fridge. In our double queen room, my daughter dropped something on the floor and looked under the bed and found old McDonald's bags. The duvet cover on her bed was either dirty or stained, mine had a tear in it. Since its summertime, we didn't need to use them anyway... but its just the principal. The coffee maker didn't work either so that was a bummer. I didn't feel like going to the restaurant downstairs or walking down the road to purchase coffee so I simply went without. Its in a ok location. The 16th street shops are nothing to brag about but they do have a nice assortment of restaurants to choose from and the hotel is a short distance away so that's convenient. However, I wouldn't stay there again.

We had a great stay at this location! The rooms were modern, clean, and very comfortable. Tory at the front desk provided amazing customer service. It’s a quick walk to union station to catch the RTD to the airport. Recommend!

Sierra is the best front desk person I have ever experienced in any hotel or restaurant ever. She is so kind, helpful, and efficient! I hope she knows how good at her job she is and is treated well. The valet staff is also awesome! The room was fine, comfy beds, and the workout room and patio on the 15th floor were very nice.

The best attribute of this hotel is the staff. They are working extremely hard to make their guests' stay a positive experience. As with all new buildings there are growing pains. And we did encounter a blinking bed lamp, issues with the shower water seeping out the door, and trouble with the card door reader. The rooms were also smaller than we had hoped. On the other side it was clean, in a wonderful location for walking, and had motion lights for nighttime trips to the bathroom on the side of the bed and in the bathroom. We used the parking garage on the same block which worked out well. Thank you to the friendly staff for making our experience enjoyable. From the bartenders to the restaurant, and a huge thank you to Sierra C. at the front desk, you deserve five gold stars 🌟 :) Thank you!
