Brand new ring delivered Thursday 9/14 (evening) purchased online. Realized a stone was missing on 9/15. Went into the store ASAP on 9/16 as soon as it opened. The manager refused to assist. He said it is worn and it is a "he said, she said situation". Wanted to charge me to repair. The worst service. I absolutely do not recommend this location. I called customer service and am returning both pieces. I am not a first time customer. If you go have to vist this location, see Alex only. Update- I was contacted by the senior store manager. She was truly sorry for my experience. Her response felt genuine. I am changing the star rating from 1 to 4 and accepting the apology. Mistakes were made but hopefully it is a learning lesson and the next customer can have a better experience for it.

As soon as I walked in I was greeted by everyone and made me feel welcomed from the start. A gentleman named Alex helped me and was very thorough about all my questions. Thank you Alex for being patient with me and making sure I left out of there Very happy and not stressed out about over PAYING on my purchases. My husband and I went to the Norridge location to drop our rings off for cleaning and was informed I needed new prongs on my ring. We have lifetime warranties on all rings. Unfortunately there was a issue because they are updating their systems . Which is a good thing. The gentlemen who took care of us spent lots of time with us to try to rectify the issue, very kind and apologetic. The issue was that the warranties didn't show because of Helzberg updating and I didn't have my paperwork . This associate and the manager fixed the issue and processed the inspection and repairs on the rings. I told them I would bring my receipts and paperwork in when I return. I was very impressed that the customer service they gave was above and beyond, took so much time with us. Showed concern and kindness for the consumer. There is no customer service no where anymore. Since coming to this location for many years we always had a wonderful experience with the staff. The manager and associate who took care of us were the best. This is what keeps us going to this location. The Managers name is Elina and the associate was Alex. These 2 are amazing and greatly appreciated all the time and kindness they gave us. I came in a few weeks ago to get a ring resized and possibly buy a new one. Alex did an amazing job at asking all the right questions and figuring out exactly what I needed help with. We had a thoughtful conversation, and he was super knowledgeable about the pieces we were looking at. Really great customer service, I wish I had started here but unfortunately went to Kay’s first for resizing thinking a big chain would be faster and cheaper. Wrong. Kay’s wouldn’t resize my moss agate engagement ring and sent it back (but still worked on the wedding band, separating the two!) Helzberg was able to resize it quickly and for a much more reasonable price. They saved the day and were also very friendly and interested in my ring. Thanks so much!

Came in for an annual cleaning and was extremely satisfied with Alex. Alex was very knowledgeable on the product & provided excellent repair services. Hi, let me start off by saying how I feel this place is a five-star establishment. The employees here are friendly knowledgeable and I do believe in team effort. But this one employee stands out name Alexander who makes you feel comfortable with your choices of diamonds you chooses. And if you’re not a person who understands the quality of your choices he explain to you designs the stones and quality.

Dora & Alina were ABSOLUTELY fantastic! They, along with their corporate office were able to recreate a piece that was over 20 yrs old!!! Their work and effort brought a lost, and very personal and emotional piece back to me - similar and yet different at the same time, after YEARS (yep you read right... YEARS of trying to find a replacement for it.) THANK YOU doesn't even begin to cover this emotional journey with this ring and its rebooted recreation. I love it!!!! ❤️
