Excellent food with a relaxing hometown atmosphere. Try the blueberry pecan waffle and hashbrown covered and smuttered. You'll love it.

Nice location, very clean, staff was very friendly! Natasha was our waitress but all the waitresses looked like they helped each other out and would stop by other tables and ask if anything was needed. I really appreciated that team work! I'm not sure if the cook was also the manager but he was helping with orders, he came out to make sure our food was to our liking and hearing him encourage one of the waitresses was so nice! We aren't from Alabama but if I was ever back in this area I'd come to this location for sure

Ordered a triple hashbrown smothered, covered, and chunked. No onions came on it at all and one slice of cheese was melted over a triple order of hashbrowns. After trying to call multiple times to place a to go order and not being able to... Super disappointed with my order not even being correct after having to go there in person to order and wait. Not friendly either.

I visited the Waffle House in Tuscaloosa last week and the food was fantastic. Myself & couple family members enjoyed a breakfast that was so good it was prepared just as we wished for. The Waffle House on McFarland has service that could not of been better. The atmosphere was pleasant,, quiet and welcoming .The people were so friendly and they kept the coffee coming. They checked on us often to be sure we were fine . We're looking forward to going back there soon.

Food was good. Our wait staff personnel was exceptional. She got the area cleaned up and ready for us to dine. We noticed several other employees referred to her as Mom or some other endearing title. I found that refreshing. The employees were swamped but they were pleasant and their interactions amongst themselves was friendly. Coffee was served warm, but the waitress was brewing a fresh pot and she brought over hot coffee without me having to ask for it. Overall good dining in experience.

My sausage, egg, and cheese melt with a side of grits was fresh, hot, and delicious. My waitress was very friendly. I had a great morning breakfast.

The service was Super and Very Professional! The food was VERY Good! The lines were moving FAST! Thank You Waffle House.

They always find a way to mess up my grit bowl one way or another. Ordered mine with extra bacon and sausage. Got no sausage on my bowl and a side order I was charged for but not the sausage that was supposed to come on it. Then have the nerve to not answer the business phone with employees sitting down. Very annoying.

Can't tell you much bc we showed up to eat at the 24hr restaurant to find we would have to eat in our car bc they only have take out late at night. Never experienced this anywhere else and I've been to my fair share of waffle houses throughout the whole south-east.

Waffle House is a great place to eat. Staff keeps the tables and floors as clean as they can despite the constant traffic. Never had a complaint about the food. A cook even gave me tips on how to cook the best sausage.

I would go to this unit often. (I would go because I don't go anymore) We spent 30 minutes waiting for a table with 4 empty ones (available) in that time several people gave up and left. I stayed because my friend insisted a lot, thinking that we would be taken care of soon. After a long wait we sat down and LUCKY removed us from the table, saying that the table would need to be cleaned first. (Almost put on an apron and cleaned up) I just wanted a meal. After another 10 minutes of waiting, they finally cleared a table. The officials didn't tell me to sit down. A customer at the counter told us to sit down (all I wanted was to tip that customer $40) and we were served with no disposition. I don't know what happened that day. they looked lazy in the extreme, especially LUCKY.

It's Waffle House... what more do you need to say? Service is great; all the staff are friendly. The food is cooked to order and served fast.

Have to say it was a complete and different experience in compariaon with other franchises. Coffee was not good at all, but breakfast and waffles were yumi and pretty lights. Sure I will return and will recommend it...

Service was great. Pearl was very polite and friendly. Food was good. My issue was with the plastic silverware. Kinda of hard to cut up bacon in a bowl with a plastic knife.

Ling runs the line like a well-oiled machine. Instead of getting frustrated with how busy it is, she still a ray of sunshine. D’Anthony killed those waffles and we were in and out in 30 minutes at peak hours on a Sunday. I wish I lived closer so I could eat with this wonderful staff every day!

You could tell that the crew at this location worked well together. They were fully staffed, the service was excellent, and the cook was amazing. My husband and I have been to three different Waffle House restaurants in Tuscaloosa in the last month and this one was by FAR the best!

me and my family went to alabama during the summer and before we left we went to this waffle house, and we were blown away by how great of a time it was! we have never experienced service like this the staff is so amazing, especially Ms. Joana she was the most kindest, sweetest person ever ☺️ and the food was delicious. if we ever come back to alabama we will be sure to come to this location. :)

It's a WH, so atmosphere is not high priority, but great if you like to people watch.

Real bad experience at that WH, no 1, I was sitting outside for over an hr waiting to go inside. Had no idea that they didn't open until 7:am. No problem. After they opened up at 7 I went inside, went to the John wash my hands. Of course there were 4 people ahead of me at that point, again no problem. I sat down waited for someone to come no one came. I was informed they only had 1 server... no problem. By now the place is getting filled up. So I'm still sitting waiting, I asked this one guy if I could get a decaf coffee until they got it together. By now the place is packed. OK they have several servers now ok. So I'm seeing orders being taken for people that want there good to go. 25 minutes with me sitting waiting to be served a server finally came over and took my order. I'm sitting watching all of these people that come in after I come, in mind you now I was the 5 th person to come through the door upon opening at 7am.. they are getting there food. Me no food. To make this shorter I got up and left the premises after sitting inside waiting for love 35 mins. Never got served! mins

Walked in and immediately the atmosphere screamed Comfort. Took a second to look at the menu and Lucky (one of the servers) took my order. Lucky was very polite and professional. My order didnt take long at all and the food was absolutely delicious and all for a price that cant be beat.

Waffle house is always top tier fast food. Michael who was taking my order was great to talk to for the 5 minutes that I ordered and waited for my food. Would definitely go to this WH again if I'm in that area

On the website said they open 24hours at 5am they so lazy they want take my order they said I have 6am lazy af y'all need to honor 24hr service

Terrible. We absolutely love us some waffle trap, but the service was terrible. Server didn't smile the whole time. Food was actually good and the cook was more pleasant than our service. Most everyone just seemed like they didn't want to be there. Anyways,was not a good location to get breakfast.
