I hate to write poor reviews on small businesses but it needs to be done when appropriate. Only reason this is not a 1 star review is because most of the food itself is actually delicious. However their platters (at least for takeout) are severely under portioned and not worth anywhere near $16. My family placed an order for takeout a few days ago and I myself ordered the falafel platter. We were shocked at the portion sizes and what was included. Falafel platter literally had 5 pieces of falafel, the sauce and pita. That’s it…. Didn’t get my side. Lettuce was BARELY included, had to use lettuce from my refrigerator. No onions, no tomato, cucumber etc… like you would find at any other Greek place that serves platters. And feta is $2.00 extra charge on an almost $20 VEGGIE platter? Come on. Another family member got orzo as a side and it was literally just boiled orzo. nothing else added, no seasoning. Not even a drizzle of olive oil. Again only saving grace was most of the food we ate was tasty. Other than that won’t be coming back here for takeout.

The owner, Thomas, was really nice and helpful over the phone. He made placing a large order for the office staff smooth and easy. That doesnt happen often for other places. Food was delivered fast and taste great.

Stumbled upon this place by accident and boy am I happy we did. Charming Greek Restaurant which makes you feel like you walked into a home in Greece as soon as you walk in. The girl at the counter couldn't be any sweeter even though she was juggling people in person and answering a non stop ringing phone. We had butternut squash soup, soup of the day which was hardy as it was delicious. They cook the squash overnight to make the soup and one spoonful says it all! Marinated grilled Greek chicken has always been my favorite but here it was grilled to perfection with a hint of lemon. Definitely will be back again and again!!!

I am so dissapointed. That is probably the worst greek meal i have ever had. I ordered the beef lamb gyro. The small greek salad and small fries. The gyro, underinflated, i have never ever in my life seen a flat gyro. This had almost no meat. No vegetables, a tiny spoonfull of sauce. The meat hard and dry. The pita gross. The salad, a very tiny cup full with zero dressing. The fries ice cold no seasoning, looks as if they were cooked last week. And all this for a whopping 26 dollars. Horrible never again.

Got two gyros and the Greek fries everything was fresh and very satisfying. The owner (I’m assuming) greeted me and was super friendly. The place was very clean and I felt like I stepped into Greece with the way it is decorated. I will be returning

My opinion their beef gyro is the best in the north NJ. (Ive been in Greece many times) Dessert could be better but overall met my expectations.

Neighborhood greek spot with all the usual specialties with rotating specials. We had the butternut squash soup and it was delicious.

Just ordered a chicken gyro platter and this does not look like greek food at all! I was expecting an actual gyro with a side of french fries and they sent some chicken, some sauce and small pieces of pitta all separate 🤷🏻‍♀️ I also ordered lemon greeks fries, and received regular cold soggy fries with no lemon flavor and a little of oregano on top. Overall their quality has changed drastically from a few years ago. I used to love this place but will not be ordering from here again.

Great service, good food, good price and good size serving. Lamb and beef will need a little more fat to be juicy else a little on the dry side. Tzatziki sauce was awesome.

I highly recommend this wonderful Greek restaurant. The food is delicious and delightfully homemade. We ordered multiple trays for a Birthday Party including Moussaka, grilled shrimp, and even vegetarian Moussaka and it was a major hit among our guests. The sides are fantastic including eggplant dishes, salads, and pita. The restaurant has veggie options and can accommodate an array of preferences. The owner is extremely welcoming and goes above and beyond to provide great service and genuinely cares to make you happy and wants you enjoy the food (and you will!) Make this restaurant as a regular go to for dine in, take out, and catering.

Good food. Smooth delivery. I'm a first time customer with a simple order of a falafel pita sandwich and Greek fries. The falafel was thick with a nice crunch and great flavor and seasonings. There were 3 or 4 of those big falafels in there. They weren't greasy and tasted fresh. The hot sauce had a nice heat (nothing too crazy spicy, but not disappointingly mild either). Red onion and tomato were fresh and the pita bread was decent. The fries tasted hand-cut and fresh like a boardwalk style fry. I got the Greek fries so there was lemon and oregano on them. It's a nice combo if you never tried it! Like I said, this order was a delivery so the fries weren't super hot or very crisp after the trip, but I still recommend them if you are a spud fan. Overall, it was a nice lunch and will order again for dinner or something.

My wife ordered a Chicken souvlaki platter on her way home from work. When she got home she opened the container marked chicken platter and it was some sort of meat so she called and the girl that answered the phone acted like she didn’t understand my wife got meat instead of chicken and told my wife to bring it back to show them. I took it back and as soon as I walked in the door I could hear the girl talking about us so I took it out of the bag and opened it and said I’m not a chef but that’s definitely not chicken! She then began to tell me that maybe I shouldn’t order from them if I was so mad I told her I wouldn’t be ever ordering from them again and that I would just order from a place in Tenafly she then said we own that also and I said no not your place Cafe Europe. This immature girl was still talking about me when I was walking out the door sorry to say she’s a brat I’m sure daddy owes the place. I’ll never step foot in either store after the way she treated us.

Ordered beef gyro party tray for 10 people. They sent me only beef. When I called them, they said I didn’t order letter, pitas and sauce as extras. They charged me another $60 for delivery, pitas, lettuce and sauce. This happened twice. Last time when I ordered a big meal for two families, they sent me two pitas. This is NOT greek hospitality. Go to Axia instead. You don’t have to be stressed about pitas ever and they are not going to charge you pitas like gold. —————- Replying back to the owner- as you said, your online menu should have a better description. Dont say catering for “beef gyro” and send only a tray of beef. It should’ve said “ beef gyro meat” First time I ordered, it was family style dinner for two families, we ordered a lot, you sent two pitas. When customers order bunch of dips, you don’t just send two pitas.
