Beautiful bridge on Housatonic River. Parking is on both sides of the bridge. Route 7 goes adjacent to the river, and it is very scenic. One of Three Historic Bridges in CT 1. A must stop on the scenic drive on Rt 7. Historical covered bridge is still sturdy enough to drive in and drive over. The surrounding views are stunning. Now (Oct 16,2020) the foliage has reached its peak. Even during a heavily rainy day, the view can take your breath away. I imagine if it’s a sunny day, the view can be die for.

Beautiful bridge and it was easy to get pictures as it wasn't very crowded. The surrounding town is quaint and lovely.

What a beautiful covered bridge you could drive through. If you get out, you might wish you had bug spray. On the day we went, there were gnats.

Really well maintained with a nice picnic area, an amazing view, and easy parking.

Everyone needs to see a Covered Bridge. This one is beautiful and the folks that live near are so kind and happy to show off their bridge. A great place to take pictures. Just simply beautiful!

First time there (10/18/20) just to see the bridge and we really enjoyed our afternoon. Brought my in-laws and they loved it. The colors of the leaves was amazing to see & the bridge is really beautiful. Interesting to see aomething that we don't get to see here in the city.
