$20 non redeemable tasting fee. Close and lovely view of the vines. Everyone has different taste and personally the wines just weren’t for us. We were welcomed at first and the tasting was adjusted for to our taste. However we were left neglected as another couple came and sat outside. No one can be at two places at once but come on. People pay for a tasting for an experience not to sit and look at two sheets of laminated charts. We may bring clients here when nothing else is open but we certainly won’t be back for ourselves.

We went to this winery hoping to have a glass of wine (we didn’t want a tasting as we were driving and didn’t want to taste all varieties), but when we asked at the bar they told us they only sell bottles (or if we wanted a glass would charge us 25 dollars per glass?!!!!!). We were quite shocked that buying a glass of wine was out of the question & left without getting anything. Haven’t had this experience at a winery before! We ended up going to uradlia pub which we very much enjoyed. Hopefully this winery takes on this feedback and they may well have more customers

Non existent service, infact no-one at ALL! When we left after no-one came to greet us the girl heard us leave and I saw her come to the door and I know that she saw me, BUT did she EVEN bother to come outside and apologise for not coming sooner? NO she did not!! Obviously this winery is too up themselves for decent customer service! I know a lot of people who like wine, and your winery is going to be given a big fat ZERO to visit. Incedentily your reception and tasting room looks very antiseptic and sterile, not very inviting at all.

Likely tasting experience. Great range of options with a cheese board as a nice touch. Beautiful view as well. Thanks Molly!

We had a lovely winters day up in Tapanappa. Served my Molly who catered easily for our time restraint and didn’t make anything feel rushed. Each tasting comes with a cheese platter with local produce. Molly ran through each wine with great detail and shared a lovely story for each - giving us an insight into the winery, the people behind the wines and a passion of all who make it possible. Left with a few bottles and looking forward to return after the renovations in October 2023!

Molly was a fantastic host for our tasting. She gave us so much great information and of course great wines too. We had the cheese platter to accompany the Finest selection of wines.

Popped into Tapanappa’s beautiful cellar door for a tasting and had the most amazing experience! Jo made us fee welcomed and shared a lot of knowledge - a delight! Highly recommend!

Went on a wet Thursday hoping for a wine tasting & charcuterie and wasn’t disappointed! The $25 tasting was eight fantastic wines, poured two-at-time with time to chat & enjoy the charcuterie in between. A lovely relaxing afternoon, walked out with a perfect Pinot!

Booked a $25.00 tasting for two (total $50) which included a cheese plate. There were 4 other tables with people and 1 person looking after everyone. I understand they were probably understaffed, but the service was horrible. It took forever to be acknowledged and then to get the 1st poor was probably 10-15 minutes. We ended up walking out without trying the last 2 wines that we already paid for and the staff just let us walk out. I was really looking forward to this as they have a great reputation, but the service ruined the experience.

Lovely spot and delicious Chardonnay. Sip and sounds event had a great vibe, with great music! We will be back!

If I could give zero I would. Went there for a 'sip and sounds' Sunday afternoon event. Arrived, no one greeted us. The music was on the balcony, we were initially sat indoors. We then asked to move outside so we could hear the music, and then (because of complaints from those sitting inside) we were asked to swap tables with the musician, so that he could move to the end by the door, and those sitting inside could hear him. Staff were like deers in headlights, and didn't seem to know what was going on. No one was running the show, and it all seemed very disorganised. Musician speaker was distorting, the quality of my headphones was better. Ended up sat next to what appeared to be the musicians family, who were comfortable eating their own BYO food, while we purchased $90 bottles of wine and $25 food platters. You are charging premium rates for your wine, subsequently, you need to deliver a premium service. Don't organise an event you can't deliver on. On a side note, the red wine was amazing, but ruined by a poorly executed event. The yound lady that did our tasting was exceptional and appeared to do her best, but confessed that she didn't normally do tastings.

The staff were lovely, the wine was great, however we were really shocked to be charged an extra $20+ to sit outside and enjoy the $55 bottle of wine we had purchased. Quite excessive, and an extra cost I really struggle to justify. This stopped us from wanting to stay longer or enjoy any other wines.

Had a wonderful tasting with 8 delicious wines. Our host was very knowledgeable and we especially enjoyed the dessert wine and Shiraz, which came home with us

Visited early March 22. The $20 non-redeemable tasting of 4 wines (with fennel seed lavosh- crispy bread) was not really good value for us. The whites were so so, reds were nice though esp the Pinot.

Great welcome when we arrived. Lots of info given with regards to the wine and background of the vineyard Beautiful wines showcased. Highly recommend a visit

Thanks Molly! Very knowledgeable staff and great wines. Doasa wines (who they share a cellar door with) also worth tasting - recommend the combined tasting as all wines interesting to try and cover a wide spectrum. A business that is focussed on quality and customer service rather than shareholder profit - great!

Beautiful premium wines here in a great deck overlooking the wines. Enjoyed the pate also!

We had a great tasting with Jo at Tappanappa wines today, she was totally engaging, good fun and we felt welcome as soon as we walked in the door. We couldn’t fault the wines, they were exceptional, and the views from cellar door were just gorgeous, it’s a must visit in the Adelaide hills and an integral part of the history of the Adelaide hills wines scene. We loved it😊 John and Marika

We had a great cellar door experience at Tapanappa. Both Sam and were great hosts, very knowledgeable and talked us through the history of the wine and the area. The Chardonnay and Merlot Cabernet Franc were stand outs.

Four of us were in for a tasting hosted by Jo. Service was excellent; Jo is very personable and extremely knowledgeable. Wines were sensational; walked away with a bottle of Definitus and now wishing I grabbed a few Tiers as well - easily one of the best Chardonnays in the country.
