Get there is all I can say!! WOW - New England GEM - Extraordinary food & a trip down memory lane! Pork Roll breakfast sandwich was to die for -never had food like this before-the little crown on the beautiful wooden door, Penny tile flooring inside with a 1906 in the middle and gorgeous retro style restored interior just made my visit seem like a little gem on Waltons Mountain! Clearly the classy owners are the Crown Tavern in Manchester food & atmosphere is just stunning ⭐️

Love this quirky little take out restaurant. The food is delicious with an eye towards fresh organic ingredients. The staff is friendly and a pleasure to talk to. The menu is different and varied with the home made potato chips and the Orzo salad a great choice. My only complaint is that they turn off the grill at 4 p.m. so that leaves salads or take and bake your only options for dinner. Still a great place for a different menu.

Can't believe they took away the garden veggie panini! They have all the ingredients on site to make it but, won't make it????? Not enough vegetarian options that's for sure, hence my 3 stars. The renovations are fantastic though! Great job with that.

Great place to stop for a fresh, quick bite to eat close to the highway. Greek Salad is made with Spring Mix which I LOVE! Veggie Quiche has just been made and was delicious. Meatball sub was spot on. My hubby ranks the meatballs 4.5/7 on the meatball scale, lol. Great homemade potato chips and brownie was good too! Generous portions. They seem to do a lot of takeout business and have a dinner special every day of the week!

Stopped here on a whim driving across the state and oh my gosh these sandwiches were INCREDIBLE! Wish we had time to circle back. We got a roast beef one that was similar to a French dip and a turkey with aioli and they were both so good. We will be dreaming of these sandwiches for a bit haha! So fresh.

You are going to have a hard time finding a better sandwich than what you’ll get at The Kitchen on River Road. We were blown away by the quality and taste of what we had. The Tommy Boy special- shaved prime rib with aujous, Swiss cheese, on toasted garlic ciabatta- was one of the best things I’ve had in a long time! Fries were amazing too and not to be missed.

I had the chicken salad in rye bread. Excellent! Employees are friend and the atmosphere is well kept and clean.

Great job catering the food at my father's memorial reception! This is the second time we've used them for such an event. They're a good local catering option for the Manchester, N.H. area:) Reasonable price. Good communication, good selection of options, and reliable.

Fantastic thanksgiving sandwich! Friendly service and great home made chips. Will definitely come again to try some of their other offerings. They have a bunch of prepped dinners and desserts also. Everything looked great!

Delicious food! We had sandwiches, salads, lasagna and more, all catered for our leadership event. The attention to detail with ingredients was great! Would definitely recommend for a solid work lunch.

I've lived a couple of miles from the Kitchen for the past 7 years and just went for the first time today and it was awesome! Got the Chicken Gyro... my only complaint... it was so packed that it was MESSY, but delicious! Very fresh, great service, over joyed. It will be my go to place from now own. Thanks!

We had lunch from the Kitchen on River Road today and there was very diverse and amazing. There was something for everyone. Definitely give it a try if you have never eaten there before.
