Tonight
I
showed
up
at
9:14
to
workout,
the
door
was
already
locked
even
though
the
gym
doesn't
close
until
10.
I
called
the
front
desk
and
asked
why
the
door
is
locked
and
was
told
that
it
is
regularly
locked
at
9:15
as
'most
people
don't
get
a
workout
in
within
45
minutes.'
I
was
then
told
that
I
would
be
let
in,
with
a
tone
as
if
they
were
being
nice
and
letting
it
slide
this
one
time
that
I
would
be
let
in
when
there
was
still
most
of
an
hour
left
of
open
gym
hours.
My
workout
was
planned
around
the
remaining
time
and
I
knew
how
much
time
I
had,
I'm
not
sure
why
the
front
desk
workers
need
to
determine
the
members
timeframe
for
their
own
workout.
I
was
then
reminded
by
the
same
worker
when
there
was
10
minutes,
5
minutes,
and
2
minutes
remaining
before
the
gym
closed
-
truly
giving
me
the
impression
I'm
incapable
of
telling
time.
I
was
out
of
the
gym
by
closing
time,
as
usual
when
I
visit.
In
other
notes,
there
is
only
one
squat/deadlift
rack
for
the
entire
gym.
Multiple
times
I
have
seen
3
unrelated
people
ask
to
jump
in
to
lift
with
each
other,
all
while
I
would
have
been
the
4th
in
line
waiting.
The
free
weights
and
weight
sets
all
seem
to
have
been
bought
at
random
and
it's
hard
to
find
matching
sets
or
the
same
type
of
weights.
Regarding
gym
hours,
the
gym
closes
at
8pm
on
Fridays
and
6pm
on
Saturday/Sunday.
The
other
Genesis
locations
do
not
close
this
early.
This
can
be
very
frustrating
depending
on
your
work/other
schedule
and
unnecessarily
early.
I've
overheard
multiple
other
people
in
the
gym
complain
or
vent
to
each
other
about
trying
to
get
there
in
time
to
workout
before
they
close.
I'm
not
really
picky
about
showers/bathrooms
but
the
showers
are
especially
dirty
and
seem
to
have
not
been
properly
cleaned
for
a
few
years.
Pros:
I'm
grandfathered
into
a
rate
from
previous
years
so
the
membership
cost
is
fairly
low.
There
is
also
a
pool
which
is
great.
