Very nice people. We prayed and ate and shared food in the shade. Beautiful bee shop. Be sure to go to the bee house. Good parking. Amazing ocean view. Alhamdulilah. We had good time remembering and seeing the signs of Allah. They also had animal farm of sheep and goats and pony ride. Take your kids there.

Its a great place for the people who are generally curious. Blowing a glass was a new experience to me and I enjoyed it a lot. They have candle coloring event and horse riding for kids. For adults its a place to swim and enjoy some pizza. An excellent place to go for a day trip!

If you like glasswork then you will probably like this a lot. We anticipated a little more abstract artistry and less factory-style manufacture, but that's on us, and if you want to get hold of some handmade glassware in a very pleasant setting while also getting the chance to watch glass being blown, coloured, and shaped into vases, light fittings, glasses, etc. then it's well worth a look.

This is a great place for the family where you can pet the animals, ride a horse, visit a Monet museum, walk into a Monet painting and buy specialty gifts at the honey store. I didn't have time to go to the museum or blow my own glass but I will be back to try this. I arrived at 1400 on a Monday (first day of the holidays) and there were only a few parking places left, but there were parking attendants to help out 🙂🙌 Perhaps go early to make sure you get a spot, and give yourself a couple of hours to walk around and eat some ice cream.

This was a great stop near Hoenfoss. The glass blower factory is in active production during the week which is very cool to see. The shops are great to walk through and you can find some very neat things.

A fun place to see a lot of different items. There were friendly farm animals to see. Beautiful glass pieces.

I really enjoyed this Glassverk. You can watch the glass blowers creating multiple unique and interesting pieces, both large and small, and of different colors. For a fee you can blow your own drinking glass/vase (they do most of the artistry...you just blow), which is ready for you to pick up and keep after a 90 minutes slow cooling process. While waiting you can watch the glassblowers at work and browse the grounds where they have several interesting stores, a nice restaurant and a very small farm animal "zoo".

Hadeland Glassverk (Glassworks) is the oldest industrial company in Norway. It has been operating continuously since 1762, i.e. since its establishment. It started here with bottles, bottles and pharmacy jars... Then European products/designs were imitated. And today (even though part of the production takes place abroad) literally everything that can be made from glass is produced. There is still a thriving development zone on the premises of the old factory. The company gives visiting artists the opportunity to create their own products, which creates a constantly thriving innovative environment.

The glassworks are very interesting and include public displays of the art of glass blowing. Hard to resist a purchase😄 The rest of the site is taken up with various different interesting outlets. Nice big cafe.

Very nice place. Commercial so do expect a lot of shops. But be aware that you can get some really good deals here. Also they have farm animals looking for some cuddles

Cool place! They have different glass products (decorations and plates and cups and such) which are unique and nice looking. Also, at the time it had a nice Christmas vibe. Enjoyed a nice waffle and warm atmosphere.
