Very fine cat, gets a 😻 out of 😺 The actual museum is also fine. I guess. If you’re into that sort of thing. Having a very fine cat on the premises elevates it above the competition as far as I’m concerned.

Very small local museum like different existing in Norway. Helps to understand the local life. Inside and outdoor spaces recreating past life. Well made.

This was part of our excursion from a Carnival cruise we were on. We fully enjoyed our visit. The girls that demonstrated the Norwegian dances were fantastic. Great place to see .Totally worth your time. I would have loved more time there.

Delightful little museum. Inside the main building is presented history of Molde and local area. Mostly about fish industry. However, outside is the true gem- real historical buildings transported to this location. The houses were mostly donated with furniture inside and everyday items as they were. The guides were great, do talk with them. 4 stars ⭐️ because the museum is probably the only thing worth visiting around the area and it can’t be compared to the large museums in capital cities.

Great museum showcasing the rich history of Molde and area - from a social and economic activity perspective. Recommend a visit - very informative.

Good to see examples of Norwegian farm life preserved. The museum itself is interesting but much smaller than the building it occupies. The museum has interesting artifacts from 10000 BC and the Norsk Viking period.

If you are in Molde, it is definitely recommended to visit this open-air museum. You get a good idea of how people used to live in the past.

Lovely place. We had great weather which also made it nice. Lovely to see these old buildings all together and safe for many to see.

Very interesting to see how houses looked like in older times, the staff was very nice and informative. The attraction is definitely the outdoor museum, not the indoor one (though the latter is nice as well). The kids enjoyed it a lot

It's good to spend time with family and children. But I know the places much better! There's WiFi, there's a restroom.

This museum is a nice dmall gem in Molde. The outer arra is free to enter, the museum costs money - about 110 NOK for adults. When you are in Molde take the 30-45 minutes to visit. Take the back exit to get to the old tea house with a nice view over the city.

👍👍 It’s a really easy to reach spot. You can drive you car and even caravan all the way up here. The road in the top is sometimes a little shaky but it’s manageable. Up to there is a fantastic view of the surrounding area! Especially at sunset it’s a breathtaking view!

👍 The cathedral is a double-nave basilica that has a free-standing bell tower next to the main building. The cathedral seats about 1000 people. The church building is shaped like a long "basilica", but with a central aisle and another on the north side, but not on the south side. The entrance consists...
