Great place good view and good shops ! You can rarely find discounts in Norway but this place has sale on, making EUs most expensive place a bit affordable! Do walk in all the buildings and check out few shops ! Restaurants are around the Corner so a good place to chill !

Best place to go for a walk in the evening to enjoy the sunset. You can catch the ferry to go to the nearby islands on the Ruter Ferry. Lot of restaurants nearby to have good food. Lot of icecream shops by the road and it's mostly crowded with people all the time.

Very nice place to relax and you can also take the ferry to Oslo fjords or to see other islands. There are many restaurants from where we can enjoy the seaside.

I have been here several times, but my latest visit was 3 years ago because of corona. There was no working ferries because of strikes. As far as I remember there has come some very fine statues along the walking area. But it is a nice place to relax, having a ice-cream, a cup of coffee or some food.

Part of the Sentrum area, Aker Brygge is known for its pier, where eateries with outdoor tables serve upscale Nordic and French cuisine, or casual fare like burgers and steak. A popular summer boat bar is moored nearby, and ferries depart year-round for the scenic Oslo Fjord. Local cultural draws include the Nobel Peace Center, with exhibits on the famous prize, and the striking Astrup Fearnley Museum of Modern Art. ― Google

Posh, clean modern urban zone with offices, condominiums, shops and restaurants. It feels a bit like Disneyland, it's slickness. Has a supermarket too, coop. Nice location next to the boats though. Restaurants are upscale

Posh area of Oslo, I would say, but of course you are all welcome to walk around here. Perfect place for a romantic date with your significant other. When it is dark, the lights on the bridge and the restaurants are perfect to create a cozy and romantic scene. Also good to relax and see the ships in the harbor. Not only great restaurants but also they have cute kiosks where you can buy ice cream. I remember that they also have a geltao place in this area. One of the most beautiful places in Oslo to enjoy walks, food, and scenery.

Highly Recommended! + This is one of the most happening places in Oslo. + Plenty of good restaurants where you can spend the evening with scenic ocean view and lights + Very clean and well maintained area - Everything you find here can be bit more expensive compared to other places

Went with my daughter. Enjoyed the view on Fjord's and parked ships. It was nice walk, we both also cotton candy and it was with flavor. Relatively crowded.

Alueena ihan pakollinen käyntipaikka. Vanha telakka-alue saanut täysin uuden ilmeen ja turisteillekkin hyvin viihtyisä alue mukavine ravintoloineen.

This place is just amazing, very beautiful and clean location. You are in the middle of Oslo centre but at the same time you feel peaceful and calm. You have everything you need around. I stayed in Aker Brygge Marina and I enjoyed walking around Aker Brygge and eat delicious food. There are museums, shopping centers, spa on the water, cinema, fjords boat trip, and all you need to enjoy the holidays in Oslo. 💖

I love this place. I have been here many times visiting from London. Long walk from end to end. So much to see and so many surprises. From the restaurants, harbour, museums, beaches. Lots of place to seat around watching the world go by and have picnics with family. Enjoy the view of great architectures. Ice scream stalls and corner shops too. Amazing.

During the summer, it is one of the most popular waterfront hangouts with shops and restaurants. People are enjoying the sun with a good meal and a bottle of beer here. There are a lot of eateries to choose from, overlooking the beautiful sea view. Grab an ice-cream from the cute trucks during the summer.

Harbour front cum shopping area with nice restaurants, nautical themed architecture and lots of places to stop and enjoy the views of the harbour. First stop for passengers off the cruise boats, but not that touristy. Good quality food and drinks to be had at the many terraces in decent portions. Staff is kind, experienced and usually speaks English.

A pleasant enough area loaded with new flats and eateries galore for the tourists and a few well hidden for the locals. It's nice to walk through the neighborhood and observe the change in architecture.

A great area to visit in Oslo for shopping, taking a scenic stroll, or sitting in a cafe or restaurant. Many modern buildings and facades, and plenty of outdoor seating areas to relax.

The new location is huge, and the layout it relatively sinple to navigate. Great selection, but as of my last visit it is not wheelchair accessible. (There ARE escalators up and down.)

Totally surreal, it's so bad that it's good! Sea view is really good!

I'm taking off some stars for the lack of the public restroom, which is quite crucial in a place like this (it used to be there, but there are now offices and it's gone). There is a nice, spacious H&M and my fav. COS. I'm quite sad that the Jean Paul store is gone... :(

An eclectic collection of shops and restaurants in a repurposed old ship building complex. A must when visiting Oslo. Especially a must during summer. It is the go to place for locals that wants to enjoy life during the summer.

Aker Brygge is notable place to visit by all Tourists. Historical places are around. There is row of Restaurants, shops and open air eateries along dockyard. Various ferries ply to beautiful scenic islands and coastal areas of tourist attractions ....

Aker Brygge is just lovely. Sooo much Scandinavian relaxed and clean and posh. And very much designed. Pleasure to the eyes. We have been there several times with all kind of weathers and it always was fun and comfortable and enjoyable. Very nice restaurants also.

One of the must visit place in oslo. During summer the ruter boat goes to different nearby islands from here. Modern and beautifully made place. There is aslo akershus fortress nearby

  • 5/5 Griffin A. 1 year ago on Google
Great place for tapas and drinks. Good for friends, lots of seats inside and outside, close to the comedy club so it is a little loud. Able to order and pay on the phone using the QR code. Pretty fast service and the prices weren’t too bad.

A very nice shopping mall located by the beautiful harbor. Most of the shops are medium ti high end fashion brands such as H&M , Gant and so on. I wish to see some grocery stores here. When everything is under one floor so no need to go here and there and when it comes to prices so you have go carry extra money.
