Old school classic diner with friendly staff all-around. If you dine-in and sit at the counter, you can get a show of the cooks at work. The Egg Sandwich was ok, but the ham-off-the-bone and hashbrowns chopped-up potatoes, not the usual strings, were both delicious. Would definitely visit again and try other meals. This spot is cash only but there is an ATM machine near the entrance if needed.

Absolutely amazing! I wanted a perfect little spot to enjoy a cup of coffee, I just happen to pass by and couldn’t resist. I am so happy I did. The service was amazing. The team works together great and the food hands-down was just like home. It’s a small quaint place but I promise you you won’t find anywhere cozier, yummier or more friendly. This is my new go to spot.

Diner opened in 1959. A lot of character. Small with limited seating. Food was decent. Service was great. They accept cash only but have an ATM on site. We had the French toast, egg sandwich and country skillet.

Quick "In" and "Out" efficient breakfast. Great food, and large menu selection. Close to the Blue Line stop to O'Hare, for any hotel patrons. Ample parking. Extremely fast turn around on tables, won't be waiting long if asked to wait outside.

This is such a classic, decades earlier, experience. It not fancy but all the food is prepared correctly. The hash browns are crispy on the outside and more tender in the middle. Ham off the bone has a slightly sweet taste and is awesome. Asked for over easy eggs and they nailed it. It’s a short distance from the airport. A great stop when waiting for someone to arrive on a flight.

Lovely local joint for breakfast. The service was great and prompt. The food is as local as it gets and is freshly made. Coffee is one of the better ones I had in Chicago too. There’s also a parking lot beside it so you won’t have difficulty finding parking.

Stop here. The food was delicious and their customer service even better. We enjoyed the experience. We ordered a variety including, French toast, pancakes, bacon and eggs. All were great. Sitting by the door was the only downside. It was December, cold and snowy, so we were blasted with the cold every time someone walked in. Still recommend stopping in. I'm glad we did.

Visiting Chicago, Nov’ 23. Stopped by Mac’s restaurant for breakfast / brunch. Had the dish with Ham and egg and hash browns. And toast and jam (not pictured). I don’t remember name of the dish. Food was great tasting, ham had right amount of salt and sodium. Nothing was spicy and food was rather bland, but it was tasty enough and I’ll give it a pass. Solid breakfast spot. The one negative, they accept cash only; and I was lucky that I had a 20 dolla bill stashed just in case. Because I don’t imagine they woulda been happy if I only had card no cash. But yeah, pretty cool breakfast spot in Chicago area. Check it out. I promise won’t be disappointed — I know I was not.

Classic! Fast! Delicious! The best option for the classic American breakfast/lunch. Looooved your Belgian waffle with blueberries!

A very nice diner. The food was pretty good. I had the Belgian waffle and it was pretty good. Not the beat waffle but very very far from the worse. It was busy when we went but we got a table right away. Our server was very sweet and made sure we we're good. The only problem is they didn't accept cash and unfortunately at the moment the atm machine inside was not available.

Great diner, food served very quickly hot and fresh not greasy. Be aware cash only. We really liked, we went during the week imagine it would be busy in the weekends!
