loved to come here, amazing vibe with the roastery and all the beans. just a few meters from the beach, cant go wrong with picking up a batch brew and then dipping your toes in the fjord. spent here much time during my erasmus. ps: pastry wise the selection is not the widest, however they taste very good

Absolutely a delight. marvelous atmosphere, decorated simple but with exquisite tastewhich makes you feel so confertabke or hygeeas they say heriré The big plus: not a tourist point since is off the beaten track The service was top quality the waiter let me stay after they close for many minutas without askin me to leave or hurrying in any way Very quiet place with candlelits A definitively must if you are in Bergen take tram one And a plus: beautiful park and on sundays flea market A highlight of Nordic coffee culture

One of the best Roaster's in europe in my opinion. Lovely staff, beautiful drinks, amazing atmosphere. Please go if you're in the area or are a coffee enthusiast.

Too hipster place with good coffee and tasty desserts. However, I couldn't call it cozy, because tables are loose, and wc like in a pub. They have some outdoor seats.

Absolutely 💯 love coming to BKB. After training, it's such a nice place to get a coffee. Atmosphere is great, and the baristas do a fantastic job of making coffee. The foam holds nicely, the coffee isn't burnt and they do a really good job with their coffee 👍.

Very good coffee. Both the espresso as well as the cappuccino with oat milk are very tasty. Staff is friendly. Inside and outside seating. Recommended when you are in the area for a short stop.

Great place for both specialty coffee as pastries. Roasting of beans happens on the spot as well, great experience for quality coffee afficionados.

A nice cup of coffee with some delicious brownies. Their highlight though was the cacao nib coffee infused chocolate bar that I had, which was very delicious.

I went there for an Americano and a Double Espresso to take away and the gentleman serving me was sooo polite. Their coffee didn’t taste bitter. And they sell lovely cups made by prisoners!

They didn’t have filtered coffee. And just had pastries for accompaniment. Nice ambient.

Great coffee shop, nice employees, delicious cappuccino, was recommended to me by a girl working at Peppes Pizza, if you ever see this, thanks!

Amazing place, probably the best coffee in Bergen, cozy, a bit pricy, but not much more than Bergen in general.

Note on my 5 stars: this review is solely based on two visits, both on Sat mornings just as they opened, so I was basically by myself. I say this because I've read reviews stating that there was a long wait, which I did not experience. Also, I come here for coffee, nothing else, so this review concerns coffee, location, staff and price - that's it. Anyway, the brewed espresso coffee is, in my opinion, really good (had a funky light-roast espresso, not my thing, but YOLO) and the variety of coffee to take home is great (different origins, roasts, experimental fermentations, etc). The atmosphere is, I agree, a bit too hipster, but hey, that doesn't have to be necessary a bad thing for everyone. I sat inside because this is Bergen and it rains and it's cold, but plenty of outdoor seating for the bold. Staff was friendly and helpful when I was there, no complaints either on that front. Regarding price, yes, it is very expensive. But this is Norway, that's how you get everyone to earn high salaries. Overpriced even for Norwegian standards? Perhaps, but coffee should be expensive. I'd rather pay more for a single good, interesting coffee and have less coffees per week. Possibly not the best café in the world, but the café+roastery combo deserves, IMHO, 5 stars.

Best shelter from the rain we could have hoped for. Warm, dry, great kombucha and great coffee. Really helpful team here too who helped me choose a bag of coffee to take home so I could carry on enjoying our trip to beautiful Bergen.

Great place to hang out, drink coffee or whatever your preferred beverage. Several places to chose from and you can eat as well. Beach close by good for a refreshing saltwater swim or just relax in the sun. Every sunday there is a car boot sale. Toilet available. Several football pitches available and a lovely park across the road to experience as well. Great location.

Cozy place with place with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Good selection of different beans and brewing techniques. I had the latte and it was good, but not great. Note that this place accepts credit cards (cash only label is wrong).
