Note
on
my
5
stars:
this
review
is
solely
based
on
two
visits,
both
on
Sat
mornings
just
as
they
opened,
so
I
was
basically
by
myself.
I
say
this
because
I've
read
reviews
stating
that
there
was
a
long
wait,
which
I
did
not
experience.
Also,
I
come
here
for
coffee,
nothing
else,
so
this
review
concerns
coffee,
location,
staff
and
price
-
that's
it.
Anyway,
the
brewed
espresso
coffee
is,
in
my
opinion,
really
good
(had
a
funky
light-roast
espresso,
not
my
thing,
but
YOLO)
and
the
variety
of
coffee
to
take
home
is
great
(different
origins,
roasts,
experimental
fermentations,
etc).
The
atmosphere
is,
I
agree,
a
bit
too
hipster,
but
hey,
that
doesn't
have
to
be
necessary
a
bad
thing
for
everyone.
I
sat
inside
because
this
is
Bergen
and
it
rains
and
it's
cold,
but
plenty
of
outdoor
seating
for
the
bold.
Staff
was
friendly
and
helpful
when
I
was
there,
no
complaints
either
on
that
front.
Regarding
price,
yes,
it
is
very
expensive.
But
this
is
Norway,
that's
how
you
get
everyone
to
earn
high
salaries.
Overpriced
even
for
Norwegian
standards?
Perhaps,
but
coffee
should
be
expensive.
I'd
rather
pay
more
for
a
single
good,
interesting
coffee
and
have
less
coffees
per
week.
Possibly
not
the
best
café
in
the
world,
but
the
café+roastery
combo
deserves,
IMHO,
5
stars.
