Outstanding Club at an Outstanding Price! This is a brand new health club that recently opened in Villa Park. I'm sure Vasa Fitness is looking to expand but this is only their second club in Illinois. Their other location is in Joliet. I can't say enough about this club. When you walk in you are in awe of the size of the club. It's huge! This club has everything you would look for in a club. 1. Top Quality Equipment - Hammer Strength benches and Lifetime machines. The number of dumbells is crazy! 2. Clean Facility - The club is very clean and the decor is outstanding. 3. Reasonable Prices - Prices start at $9.99 per month and you can even use your health insurance health membership to cover the fee if you have that benefit. 4. Pool and hot tub coming soon! Vasa Fitness is highly recommended! NEW UPDATE: The pool and hot tub are being built now and will soon be available to members!

Great gym as far as facility and staff go. Lots of equipment and options for all training types. Will definitely say that I would not go here during peak periods as you will be waiting especially if you’re someone serious about getting in and out. Machines will be full and you will have to wait. This is probably the biggest drawback as price is the reason people are signing up in droves. Big thing I’d ask the gym to look at is the amount of tripods and cameras people are setting up everywhere especially in the free weight/rack areas. I’ve had to navigate around peoples tripods as they try to record themselves. Very unsafe and I’d ask the gym to reconsider this. Majority of time you will end up in someone’s video without permission. Not sure of the policy here. Summarize: you want to get in and out of the gym this is prob not the place for you. You’ll have to go at really odd times for this or risk waiting. There are a few other options around that are not as new but you can be guaranteed you won’t have to deal with the clutter. Staff is definitely amazing though.

Let me start by saying that this gym is a really nice facility. Lots of space, tons of gear and clean. However, the only drawback so far is the sheer number of people who go here. It doesn't matter what time of day the place is FULL. Sometimes, it looks like a high school gym, there are times that they spend their time talking and do not let others occupy the other machines, and they spend their time screaming like crazy, this gym needs to put order, and they need more space, I already have it planned leave that gym

I joined in April ‘22, but I canceled shortly after the holiday season. When I was a member there, I did enjoy it. The equipment is nice and they have a lot of selections I like that there is a large range of demographic; older people, younger people - it’s a good mix. The reason why I left was because A. It was getting hard to go after work since it was about 35/40 away (have to sit in traffic 😭); and B the atmosphere just completely changed. The staff that they had there made it so unbelievably welcoming and fun to be there, but then they fired them or they left to pursue another opportunity, a lot of those staff members were the reason why I joined. It was fun to see them and exchange that positive energy. So in the end I don’t regret leaving at all. I enjoyed it while I was there, but it definitely changed and not for the bette, which is why I give it 3 stars.

The gym itself is wonderful. The time I was there, it was great. New equipment. The staff was friendly. Here is where it becomes bad. I started experiencing health problems during the time I had personal training. Due to these circumstances I contacted Vasa to see if I can end personal training, because I was unsure how quickly I would recover, so putting a hold on my personal training was not going to work. I didn't want to be charged for a service I couldn't do, that makes no sense. However, as I attempted to explain my situation, I was continuously told I am "under a contract". Keep in mind, I was never even told personal training was a contract. I felt stuck in this situation. I kept getting charged for a service I was not scheduled for because I could not do it. The customer service for financial issues is possibly the least caring people I have ever talked to. I recall asking them to hold a payment for me until the day I got paid, and somehow I got charged before I got paid and so I was overdrawn in my bank account. Obviously this frustrated me and I contacted them and they told me the woman who spoke to me was "extremely sorry" and they offered to waive my gym membership for only a month. Not the personal training. My gym membership. As I mentioned, I kept trying to get assistance from them so I could avoid overdue payments but again, no sympathy from them. I was told at one point a manager would contact me, no one did, so I just let it go. I am now at a point where they are expecting me to pay a big sum of money to avoid my "debts" to them. For services, I have not been able to do!! I have not stepped a foot in this gym for MONTHS and they want me to pay up. It's crazy to me how this company can do this. I am an autistic individual who has experienced some health problems over the 2022 year. There is a complete lack of sympathy from this company. I warn anyone who is considering doing personal training, don't go through a financial crisis unless you want to be in debt to this gym lol. I am not one to give bad reviews. I give the benefit of the doubt, but obviously they did not do that for me. EDIT: I do not want to be contacted by anyone from VASA Fitness. Everyone who has contacted me has been unpleasant and unforgiving. I seriously warn everyone to read what you are agreeing to. Make them show you what it is you are signing.

Do not go to this gym If you are interested in bodyweight / calisthenic this gym is not for you. Hopefully they will add some real dip bars and pull up bars with space to do some skills. Big plus that they have 6 squat racks with platforms. Gym is pretty big and clean so far. On the photo you can see pull up bars, but there are stupid shelves in front of them that you are unable to do any skills like, muscle ups, front / back levers. Could be simple fix of they remove that shelves atleast from one section. On the dip bars are very limited. Close to the ground and if you are like 6’ + you can end up hitting the pull up bars above with your heas or shoulders.

Today was the first time utilizing the gym, I can say it’s a very nice, well thought out gym. The ladies at the front desk were friendly and welcoming. The bathroom area was very clean. Only downfall is early closing time on Sundays, 4pm

This gym has a great price and great areas to work out in. The machines are great and the hours expanded so that is awesome! I would have given 5 stars but, they have “coaches” in red shirts who are trying to get you to sign up for personal training. I’m sure they must have some sort of sales quota because it is pretty annoying when they approach you mid set when you have dumbbells in your hands… other than that, I’m happy so far.

Very nice gym, friendly staff, and decent hours for all of that I’d leave 5 stars. Area’s of improvement. There needs to be a third reverse pec deck machine, an additional set of barbells, more dumbells 15-37.5lbs, more wipe stations/trash cans, more benches in the free weight area, a third smith machine, and two additional flat bench press. This gym has attracted a lot of younger people, which is great. However there should never be children wrestling in the gym. Yes they’re playing around but In the cable section twice yesterday there were groups of kids wrestling. Also the bathroom needs more frequent checks especially during peak time. The one changing room in the women’s bathroom has trash in it or what everywhere. Please do not reply a generic response of that the club is always seeking ways to improve. Implement solutions and and ways to change. This gym has way more members than before and it will continue but there are some adjustments that need to be made to ensure that those who come to get a lift in can do that and leave.

Saturday evening is pretty much the only time when this place isn't ridiculously packed. Only gym I've been to that was at max capacity on a weekday mid-afternoon. Also this place is a breeding ground for bad gym etiquette. Nobody wipes down their machine, nobody puts their weight plates away, people spend over 30 minutes on one machine. I've been doing some research, and it appears these are issues that are occurring at VASA's all over the country. This chain most likely won't be a long term thing. It's a shame too because they do have nice equipment.

Gym is overcrowded and filthy. Sauna floor and pool deck look like they have not been cleaned since the place opened. After trying to cancel my membership was told to pay an additional month that was hidden in their contract then after their payment system failed I was billed $49 to cancel the account. Unsanitary environment and sleazy agreements. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE!

I am also enjoying the Silver Sneakers class with a great leader Matt. Thanks again and I will definitely recommend it to my friends.

The gym’s layout is not fully utilized. There isn’t much issue with the cardio equipment since there are lots of machines but there is space for duplicate or triple weight equipment. It’s a nice, generally clean, and spacious gym but the crowd here is what is turning me away as a member. I’m in my mid 20’s and I go here to exercise. A lot of the crowd here are teenagers or young people. The issue with this is that they use this gym as a social gathering place and not to exercise. Countless times I’ve waited upwards of half an hour for machines and watched the people using them be on their phones or just talking to their group of friends. Not everyone will let you work in. This isn’t really a time issue either. The gym is more crowded after 4pm since people are getting off of work but even going earlier between 11am-2pm the weight area is crowded. I’ve reached out to one employee before who told me that he cannot control how long someone is using equipment and there is nothing he can do. I also reached out to this woman who said she was management there on another occasion and she said there are no signs posted and she also cannot enforce a time limit on machines. The workers suggested that I just use other equipment. I pay to utilize this gym just like everyone else and I don’t want to be needlessly inconvenienced. I don’t mind waiting a reasonable amount of time for people to do their reps but some of the weight equipment is definitely being hogged. Per my suggestion to Vasa leadership at this location: please post signage about being considerate of others wanting to use the equipment. Overall if I don’t see any changes I intend to cancel my membership.

Overall, I really like this facility. It's a well equipped gym with great pricing and a friendly staff. I joined this location after visiting their Glendale Heights facility because of how nice it was. Unfortunately, a lot of the equipment in the villa park facility is in need of basic maintenance. Many of their machines have digital rep counters/timers, which are fantastic, but many of them don't work, and several of the static barbell weights are dangerously loose. It's got great potential, but basic equipment maintenance needs to be addressed asap.

I just signed up for Vasa with Brandon and he was very informative and carried himself very well. He explained everything and answered all my questions. The gym is very spacious, this was the first thing I realized when I walked in, they have so many machines I am very excited to start going. Thank you Brandon for a great first experience into the gym I really appreciate that.

Excellent gym at a great price. Friendly staff, good atmosphere. Can get crowded in the evening but you’ll still be able to get done what you need to get done. The opening of the Glendale Heights location also might help.

It started great, at first. But than too many people crowd the place, making it hard to get the workout you want. To add insult to injury, they charge extra to end the gym membership. Best try another place if you can.

This is a great club. Great price for everything you have access to. Great hours and amount of equipment. I also love that you have multiple locations. Luckily there’s one by my house and one by my job so it reduces my excuses. Most importantly the staff is genuinely friendly. I picked the right place to accomplish my goals.

This is the first non 5 star review I’ve ever posted: This is a hot mess of a gym with a ton of hidden fees. I was told I’d be able to sign up at a higher membership then downgrade after my free month. They don’t tell you it’s $25 to downgrade until it’s too late. They don’t offer physical scan cards, they want you to use your app. Yet there are always glitches and issues with the app that make that near impossible. I brought up an issue about being worried that I had two accounts/getting double charged, I was told I “only had one billing.” That was incorrect, I did have two accounts due to a system error on their part and now they said I have to wait a month for them to send a refund check. Their customer service phone number attached to their emails isn’t even a working number! Clearly they don’t care about customer service if the number they advertise for it isn’t even in service. Save your money and find a different gym! I really wish I would have never signed up here. If there weren’t a ton of fees to leave, I would.

Let me start off by saying, this gym is a really a nice facility. Plenty of space, tons of equipment, and clean. However, the only downside so far is the crazy amount of people that go here. No matter what time of day the place is PACKED. It makes it difficult to get a bench or even a parking spot at times....

I joined at the beginning of the year. The staff is amazing! Everyone is so kind and welcoming. The facility is super clean. They have child care, which is a must for me. My son has so much fun he doesn’t want to leave. The prices for the packages and kid care are all incredibly reasonable.

I left a fancy gym that costs more than double and VASA is just as nice. VASA is brand new here, so it’s still spotless. I hope it stays that way. Gym staff usually overlooks the sweat & dust that collects on the base of equipment (especially cardio). The water massage beds are great & the light therapy booth is a fabulous feature (assuming they are using the correct bulbs). I’m excited for the sauna to open. I hope the pool is a ‘real’ pool, rather than a shallow above ground pool with a baggy liner disguised by a concrete deck like the ones at FFC. But for the low cost of membership, I’d be happy either way. I wish they had bigger lockers with programmable locks. Can’t fit my gym bag, gotta go buy a lock. And no towels, but again, minor limitations for the price.

Love the gym. It's huge, the amenities it offers is great, especially for the price. Only bump is the hours. Sundays close early, and they close on holidays. If you are used to a 24/7 gym, like me, it might take some getting used to, but over all, it's a great gym!

Beautiful Gym! For one the staff always looks happy. The layout makes the gym feel alive. The showers are extremely clean and fancy! The Sauna has a huge TV in it and the massage chairs are INSANE. They are not like the ones from the mall these are super advanced. 10/10 gym

Nice gym, spacious and pretty clean. I like how big it is because even when there’s a lot of people it does not feel as packed as other gyms. The amenities such as steam room and sauna is great! The staff seems friendly. It has a kid daycare which as a mom is a huge plus for me, haven’t used in a while but when I took my daughter she loved it. The have diff packages making it convenient for everyone’s needs. Only gym that I have found as of now that allows kids as young as 12 years old to workout there. Has some of my favorite machines for glutes. Lots of classes to choose from and recently got 3 free red studio room classes just because, which I’m excited to try soon. Definitely recommend

Horrible customer service, the childcare is terrible. They just make the kids watch tv all the time they are there. I live in a multi family and practically raised my nephew who I brought with my daughter and I made them aware of that and I asked if the need additional fees. The lady in front desk (appeared as short heighted looked Mexican) was sooo rude like I had kidnapped the child. It’s my one hour of the whole exhausting day that I chose for myself and you guys gave me no options I also said I can ask his mom to talk to you and present birth certificate they gave me no options but to bring them mom. Very very rude they could have been nice.ThankGod I go to XSport such great daycare and service

Nice facility. Has all the equipment and space I need, Although some of the equipment needs fixing. But most the time the fix equipment in a timely manner. Cleanliness needs a lot of work, especially in the bathrooms. Sometimes there toilet tissue, and urine all over the floor. Staffing is friendly and have great customer service. Overall a great facility but needs work on orginazion as far as weights on the ground and Cleanliness.

I spoke with Nick and expressed my opinions on the gym. I've been a member since they've opened and have seen a lot of changes being implemented. Recently I've noticed they've had the staff upkeep the gym by putting weights away and occasionally cleaning machines. Safety and Cleanliness are important to keeping a healthy gym environment. The staff are great and helpful and I notice an improvement in the diligence of the team. Cleanliness in the bathrooms and locker rooms still needs a bit of improvement but overall the improvements are a plus. Looking forward to the growth of the facility.

I would give zero stars if possible and I hate to be that person. 1 star would be because the gym equipment is great but that doesn’t make the experience what it is. It’s the gym staff and customer service of the staff and customer service team-too much red tape to get through. They charge bogus late fees for childcare for arriving late to slot and even when they said they’d waive it due to a technical error on the app -Nike of our own, my wife and I continue to get hit w fees. We spend $140 a month for the daycare and membership include for her and me as a guest. This is absolutely terrible service and treatment. At that rate i could be at lifetime and that’s where I will be going. Their guest privileges checkin procedure is also inconsistent as can be. One day need an ID and check in and depending on the staff member it’s a waive of the hand through-which probably correlated to increased issues within the club. This is to inform potential customers to be careful when committing here, and hopefully upper management and ownership can make it better for the future.

Definitely love this gym, right behind my house also. I really appreciate the fact that the maintenance guy Andy is always on top of broken machines, out of order treadmills etc. I swear a day doesn't go by without what ever is broke getting fixed. Maintaining the pool is a process and he's in there every other day I feel. Keep up the great work. I've been to many gyms and never see them care to much about their equipment.

The staff here is absolutely amazing. The childcare staff is compassionate for each child as it it was their own. The facility is clean and safe for both of my children age 2 & 4. I definitely recommend this gym to other moms based solely on the childcare!

Location , price and staff are great. But not clean at all . Most people don’t clean after themselves . The weights are all over the place . And I go super early like 4-5am. I would think it’s more of a mess in the afternoon .

Great place, great price, and great selection of presses and activities. That said, I’ve been in about 5 times and it can get REALLY busy so your best bet is either to go in before 11 or really late if you want to do a certain press or machine. But the place is spacious, the amenities are nice and the place is clean.
