Best thing about this place was leaving it alive in the morning. Check-in process was like handing yourself into police custody, except the prison warden has brought their drug-dealer boyfriend along for a laugh. Bedding and towels are thrown to you in a bin-bag as you’re led into your windowless cell. This is the point you should try and make a run for it, use the bag as a tent and sleep in a bush, it’ll be infinitely more peaceful and smell less offensive. One room has the odour of your Nan’s dead foot skin, the other admittedly doesn’t, but then it does have an extractor fan from a hovercraft engine. Both however are lit to roughly around 20,000 lumens, with lights that can’t be turned off. The capsules also don’t have curtains on them, so good luck if you need darkness to sleep I guess? Downing a litre of whiskey before bed would be advisable anyway, as you won’t feel the mattress trying to harvest your organs during the night. The bedding spaces clearly haven’t been cleaned out for a while, as we found a receipt from last month, but also 3p - so the joke’s on the staff. Toilets and bathrooms seem to be only cleaned by human traffic alone, judging by the hair deposits. Also, check for loo roll before you sit down as you maybe forced prematurely into your first improvised bidet experience with a shower head attachment. Don’t expect any soap either, because you’re criminal scum. Overall, never stay in this place, even if it’s your last resort. Embrace the sweet release of death.

Floor was filthy. Rooms were extremely small. It just fits the bed and tv. No space to move and no windows at all. Price is cheap, not far from town centre. No breakfast or dinner option, just a vending machine with coffee, crisps, chocolates and coffee. They have no toiletries either. The staff members were very friendly and helpful. Is a 24h reception.

Worst place I've ever stayed at. No windows, really small, almost no space if you have luggage.. the bathroom didn't have soap in it (but it was clean). The mattress was so uncomfortable. If you are going there just to sleep and leave it's ok but if you are looking for a hotel room this is not it. The only good thing was the price and that the receptionist was nice. Do not stay here.

May be first and last visit ever here. Firstly when you go to reception, there is a sewage smell, very bad and even they know that but nothing happens. You go to your room, smell doesn't go away. Lighting in the room is simply nonexistent. Awful awful place to spend night. Look for Airbnb or other a little bit more expensive hotel. Trust me it's simply not worth it. I paid £22/night for single room and share bathroom. No sign of bathroom anywhere.

Me and my girlfriend arrived in the evening and discovered that for the privilege to park your car at the hotel you are sleeping in you need to pay extra. Went to reception and check in was very simple, got handed our key card and a couple remote controls. Our room had the window wide open so the room was freezing cold, it was mid-late feb. There was an electric heater that can only be run if your key card was inserted. We had it running constantly when we were there and never got warm. The bathroom had a broken toilet seat which was barely hanging on, and there was no soap for washing hands. It stank of sewage, which was probably why the window was open but didn't hotel didn't treat the source so smell continued. Room floor was very basic, had a few stains. Room said it provided kettle, microwave, fridge as a little kitchenette. Didn't use the microwave so don't know what state it was in but kettle worked as did fridge. BUT, no mugs/spoons/plates/any utensil provided so hope you like boiling water in your hands as that is the only way to get a cup of tea. Lacks plugs only enough for the "kitchenette" nothing else, but not a massive problem for myself and gf just needed 2 for phones and weren't using the kettle & microwave at night. When we slept, bed was okay but the pillows were pancakes, even when doubled over they didn't offer much support. Oh also your key card needs to be "reset" everyday at 10am to get back into your room. Wasn't told this at all at check in. NR2 is great for location and is cheap for a reason. Wouldn't recommend as an enjoyable experience but one of necessity.

Wish read reviews before paying 50 pound for ridiculous double room for one night. It's not worth more than 10 pound that place and I couldn't even stay there to sleep, left that hotel same night. Under mattress have found glass shards and some other rubbish stuff. Absolutely not safe to sleep there because of hygiene. Better pay few poundd more for better and proper place to stay!

I have quite a few reasons . No soap No shampoo Shared bathroom Only very hot or cold water available to bath (so u can't bath at all) 3 days in a row we had a fire alarm ringing My card key had to be recharged everyday to open the door. U can't leave your door unlocked. And many other things...

Dirty doesn't even come close to describing the state in which the apartment was when we checked in. The floor looked like a group of lumberjacks wearing dirty boots had just walked on it. There were pee stains on the toilet seat. Lumps of what looked like women's hair lay under the duvet. There were big drops of soup inside the microwave oven. A previous occupant had left a half emptied bottle of milk and some curry in the fridge. Overall, it looked like they didn't bother cleaning after the previous 10 guests. I asked the staff to vacuum clean the floor but they didn't do it. In addition, the place smelled of paint due to the renovations that are being carried out. This place should be shut down by the authorities.

There was a mix up with the rooms as we were given a very small room with little leg room. However this was resolved soon after we complained to the receptionist on duty, We were relocated to a more condusive room in another room. Parking was safe and spacious.

It's great as a overnight stop, the staff are nice and it's very tidy. For the price it's good value, though the rooms are small. Bad points are toilet doors don't all lock , and no way to dry your hands in the toilets.

No bed bugs is probably the best thing about this place. Cold showers for first day, rest of stay we had to run the water for a full 5 mins to get the hot water trickling out. There was a bath - but no taps to run one. Bed was incredibly uncomfortable, think air mattress with springs. Someone’s crusty pj’s & an old cigarette butt under the mattress. A sun dried, used condom on the window sill; fridge with old almond milk in it; skid marks in toilet with no toilet brush to be found. Heaps of kitchen cupboards absolutely empty - not a single piece of cutlery, cup, china. Oh I lie, there was a piece scrunched up toilet paper in one of the cupboards. No dishwashing liquid which was fine because there wasn’t any dishes. When asked about a kettle & cups (as the picture indicated) was told “we’ve run out of cups” & that a kettle would be dropped off to our room - we asked twice but suffice to say it was never dropped off. Got given the wrong remote so had to swap that (because they don’t leave the remotes in the room but rather give it to you when you check in ?!). We asked if we could store our bags somewhere the night before we left which was no problem until we went to store them & was told “sorry, it’s full”. They really run by a ‘tell them whatever to make them disappear & then lie lie lie until they stop asking’ mantra. At around £60/£70 pn for a private room I really didn’t think it was that cheap either. Not cheap enough to warrant the awful stay anyway.
