Refused entry on match day as they wanted proof of my home address. People don't give out their home address to strangers & definitely dont whilst going in a pub. Nothing displayed to say they refuse entry on match day without proof of address

Came in here for a quick beer before a Norwich city match. As away fans we were not meant to be allowed in but managed to sneak past the bouncers. It was very busy as you can imagine but the atmosphere was good. We got chatting to some lovely home supporters who made us feel very welcome.

Great place to have a quick beer before the train. Had a few footy games on TV while we were there. Reasonably priced for the area, and great service. Very friendly staff, well worth a visit if you just arrived on the train to Norwich

Great atmosphere of Saturday night when I was in around 6pm

I didn't rank the food as I didn't have any. However, it is a nice pub with a great selection of ales, Fireside for the cold times and their infamous Scrumdown for the Six Nations rugby. It was just a pity that it was cold inside the pub as their heating had packed up, but they did have some room heaters in place but it just wasn't enough. I would have stayed longer if it weren't so cold.

Came here just after 11 yesterday and had the Steak and Ale Pie, it's a super nice pub with a ton of seating both inside and outside, the guy serving me was also super friendly, it took less than 10 mins for me to get my food which was very fast. The food was excellent and i liked you got to pour your own gravy on which most places don't do, Very well priced since i looked at a lot of other pubs before coming here and this was easily the best prices. Will be returning in the future

Lovely for a beer but skip the food. Steak sarnie with 2 tiny pieces of old beef and so much mustard your face will melt. The chicken BLT was falling apart as the bread was poor and old. Won’t be eating again but will have a beer in there

Steak and ale pie 10/10: merlot gravy was fantastic and chips cooked to perfection. Mac and three cheese 10/10: very yummy and pasta cooked very well Pub RAMMED on football days, had to push 5 people against bar to get to toilet.

Should be ashamed of themselves. Ordered “House seasoned” fries which cost £3.50. Received at most 10 normal fries with a dusting of salt. If you’re going to charge £3.50 for frozen fries at least give a decent amount. Oh and the toilets are disguising.

Getting bit of a habit, as not had a bad meal, very tasty 😋 highly recommend, staff so friendly and helpful partner loves the squid, cooked to perfection, with side order of sweet potato fries for me, today, good old steak and ale pie.

The pub itself has a charming, cozy feel—perfect for both a casual drink with friends or a relaxing dinner. I can't wait to return for another round of great food, drink, and friendly service. Highly recommend if you're in the area!

Despite living so close haven't been for ages so decided id pay a visit last Saturday night and even after a busy football match day the atmosphere was still buzzing, a band was ready to play, the staff were alert and friendly and was also greeted in such a welcoming way at the bar by the new landlord Kev. Ended up staying til close and will definitely be returning soon...keep up the good work guys....cheers 👍 🍻

A great pub with a great atmosphere. Me and my friend went here last night and had great service from great Greg. It has a good outside heated seating area by the rider which is beautiful in the summer and they have a great selection of beers. Definitely will come again, it is much improved from the pub I went to a few years ago.

Very polite and accommodating staff especially faith the bartender very bubbly and happy to serve drinks. Highly recommend
