We stayed for the third time at the Oval Hotel about a month ago, this time we stayed for a couple of nights in the cathedral suite. This room was absolutely amazing! everything you needed was there, a beautiful bathroom, super comfy bed, fabulous wine and drinks fridge, a fireplace under the TV and the most stunning views. We had breakfast at Bespoke, staff were lovely, accommodating and the food was excellent. We had room service first night from the express menu which was good, the Bespoke room service menu was amazing and actually arrived to our room hot. We had an incredible stay, full compliments to the staff! This is now our favourite place to stay in the city.

The Oval Hotel has a great location. It also has a nice restaurant, Bespoke. Apart from that, I found little to commend it. Staff were just OK, doing their job but nothing more. The rooms are small and OK. Electric curtains and a table were appreciated. Room service was disappointing. Food on a paper bag does not feel like a classy hotel. I was excited to see ground coffee but could find nowhere to use it. The hotel was overpriced for what it was. The complimentary breakfast at Bespoke was the highlight of the stay.

Hotel decor very nice. As you walk in the curtains open automatically. Val-vet parking service amazing. For a new boutique hotel it’s done very well as my wife and I had an excellent experience therefore 5 star from me. Everyone that spoke to us had a smile, very patient in answering all my queries. Complimentary tea, coffee and two drinks to welcome us, great service. Hotel room had a very nice view of the city. Reception area has a very nice smell! Some feedback: 1. Please regularly clean bathroom air vent - our one was a little dusty. 2. Please be more generous with more amenities such as shower gels - wife and I stayed for two nights with one shower gel provided. 3. Corridor noise a bit loud. Otherwise great work team. Overall cleanliness and customer service top notch. Already recommended this place to my family and friends.

Splashed out and took my husband here for his 60th birthday. Booked a Cathedral Studio ,and it was beautiful.A small birthday gift and note was left in the room for him, which was a very thoughtful touch. Valet parking was worth paying for,and the breakfast at Bespoke Wine Bar and Kitchen was very good. It was not a cheap experience ,but we really enjoyed ourselves .

We only stayed here for one night but it was so amazing. They had complimentary coffee in the reception and me and my family loved coming down for a coffee in the morning. The rooms were amazing with their showers, mugs, wardrobe and the ipad functions and buttons on the wall were absolutely astonishing. 5 stars, would do 6 if i could. Amazing experience, would recommend.

We stayed from 12 - 14 Jan to celebrate our engagement, anniversary and a milestone birthday. We appreciated the personal touch with a note and some Haighs (my favourite) chocolate to celebrate. We were given a free upgrade. The room was beautiful and the high tech features in the rooms were great fun to use. The shower was really nice with two head options. The mirror light was a nice touch with cool and warm light options. The bed was on the softer side and the pillows were huge. The blinds worked well to block out the sun, but there was a gap where the sun comes through on the end closest to the bed. It looked like a hook at the top may not have been on properly. We had gone out for the morning and returned early afternoon. We put on the make room light (in the hopes of having the bed made) but didn't receive service. Not to mind though, I napped in bed the rest of the afternoon anyway. The burgers and chips via room service were quite yummy so we ordered twice. The second time though the beef burgers were served without cheese and made upside down (salad under the beef). A downside to room service is that we couldn't find an option to order drinks on the in room tablet. We only saw the option for drinks as an add on when ordering spring rolls. We tried calling room service to do our order via phone but got no answer. We tried again and eventually it diverted to reception who tried to put us through to the kitchen again. There was no answer and we were hung up on. We decided to just order food through the tablet and go down to the dining to buy drinks in person. The Bespoke restaurant was very nice and the food and drinks enjoyable. Overall we did enjoy our stay here and liked that it wasn't too far to walk into the city to do some exploring.

Rooms were good. It was dark and drab looking in hallways. As a new hotel thought it could have been brighter in hallways .Great veiw easy to find and get to.

Stayed here for a special occasion as doing oval climb. Room tidy, bed comfortable. Corridors really loud banging of trolleys and doors of evening and morning. Refused to let us take our complimentary drink to our room like last time when chairs were full and busy. Tried room service for breakfast and it was over priced, serving lobster for breakfast. No thanks. Minimal regular food on the menu for breakfast all very fancy with a big price tag and not much choice. Unable to order coffee on our ipad for the morning. Had to call the reception. Ordered x2 lattes. Took forever to come to our room. Not hot, not tasty very milky and in takeaway cups from another coffee place down stairs around the oval called Ink coffee. I wouldn't stay again. It's not what it's cracked up to be. Prefer to pay the money and stay at EOS in future. Very underwhelming. Reception don't even ask how was your stay? For you pay their service is very basic.

Excellent hotel at an iconic sports ground. We have stayed in a provide room. The room was very comfortable and the view was great day and night. We had breakfast outside overlooking the oval very special.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the oval hotel. Service was great. Managed to alter my booking only after emailing management - I did call initially but was told that there were no rooms available for an additional evening - however this was promptly resolved after a follow up email. Even despite the footy being on we didn’t feel the atmosphere too chaotic. Rooms were cosy and well stocked with drinks, food and toiletries. The walk into Adelaide CBD isn’t far and especially great when the weather is nice. Will definitely stay again.

We stayed just one night but we were blown away of how pleasent our stay was! Wish it was for longer! On arrival you receive a free drink to enjoy whilst overlooking the oval. The room was super clean, modern but cosy. There is an Ipad you can use to control the lights and curtains! Bed and pillows was very comfortable We didn't eat but the restaurant was just beautiful. The decor and lighting made it so relaxing 11am check out which was nice to not have to rush. We paid less then other places we have stayed and was by far the nicest. I'm not sure I have anything I could fault to be honest. Will be back!

Disappointing. Rooms are modern and well equipped however water pressure is low and the shower temperature doesn't seem to get above just warm. Room service was a disaster: Overnight BLT was missing the avocado and took close to an hour to arrive. The eggs on toast ordered in the morning are literally just that, no butter, salt or pepper. Ordered two serves both with bacon, only one arrived with bacon and the remaining bacon was finally brought up 20mins later by which time everything was cold. Notified staff upon departure of the room service issues, and was refunded the BLT, still charged full price for the breakfast and not offered any sort of apology. Unfortunately I won't be staying here again and would advise others to do the same.

Beautiful location rooms have great views. Breakfast overlooking Adelaide Oval. Service was exceptional! If you are looking for a great place right in the middle of CBD and North Adelaide this is the place.

What a great location! close to CBD and zoo and very very close to Adelaide Oval. Great rooms.breakfast was order from menu so not for those who like a big buffet breakfast. Mark room down one star due to very soft bed which will not suit everyone

A gorgeous location and very well priced too. The complimentary membership to the well equipped fitness centre next door makes up for lacking health facilities. Rooms could be a tad bigger, but it's not a massive issue for me since I was travelling for work.

Absolutely beautiful place, spotlessly clean, extremely comfortable bed, lovely views over parkland & cathedral. Very appreciative of free drink. Great access from car park Can't recommend enough.

One of the most surprising stays, not expecting much this turned out to be one of the most luxurious, serene hotels I've stayed at anywhere in the world. I have been fortunate to stay in some of the best and this little hotel is right up there. The service here is all about You in such in a quiet and unassuming way that you feel that you could be the only person staying in the whole place. The food and service is sublime. 5 stars from me.

Lovely decor and hassle free arrival and check-in. Quite disappointed to stump up the extra cash for a Cathedral view room and placed on the last room on the second floor with NO view of any Cathedral, just trees. Just a word of warning if you're after a Cathedral room INSIST on at least the third floor. Bespoke breakfast was great but the service was very slow, live and learn. Had to tackle a waiter to get water, coffee and food order in.Ordinarily would be forgiven but at the price point should be a lot better.

The rooms were fantastic, super modern with ipad controls for everything and a seriously lux feel to it. We had desert and wine at the in house restaurant, complete with outstanding wine bar 🍷 and amazing views of the Adelaide oval. Would 110% stay there again! Also, shout out to the staff, super helpful and friendly and the complimentary glass of vino on arrival is a nice touch. 👌

Used the cathedral view festival state of mind package, very happy with value and also general state of rooms. Food and staff all excellent and friendly. One of the entrees was small (pumpkin dip)and that’s literally the only complaint. 10/10 recommend a stay here.

we enjoyed our stay. the receptionist was quite helpful even though one of the staff was not very friendly. It's best not to judge people by their clothes or skin type. guests are guests and treat them the same.

Unfortunately I can't recommend this hotel especially for international travelers. At the check-in I was clearly told the restaurant is only for lunch and dinner but I didn’t get a refund for the already paid breakfast. The bottle of wine I prepaid was never delivered, the room was noisy, email went unanswered and the reception didn't want to solve any of these problems during my stay but interacted with me in a very unprofessional manner. One easy tip: If you make a mistake, offer a reasonable & quick solution and don't just apologize! This hotel has too many inconveniences and issues, therefore I advise not to stay here.

After reading a good deal of hype about the new(ish) Oval Hotel we stopped by for some cocktails, with a view to perhaps returning for dinner at Five Regions. The Bespoke bar must have been named ironically given the decor and the vibe is reminiscent of every "first class" airport lounge in the western world. Comfortable maybe, but a long, long way from chic or stylish, and hardly "bespoke". The Five Regions restaurant offers a view of the Adelaide Oval by night, which is precisely as exciting and aesthetically uplifting as you'd expect. I guess there are mad cricket fans who would think it the ideal setting for a three-course meal. But then there are probably people who'd happily dine with a view of a prison facility or a nuclear power plant. I guess it takes all kinds. As for the drinks: over-priced (as a guide: cocktails priced at a third to half what you'd pay for a full bottle of a top-shelf liquor.). My tip: if you looking for a cocktail with atmosphere, go almost anywhere else.

Stayed here many a time now and simply cannot fault it. Have stayed for both stop-overs, mini-breaks and special events. Great perks as a Priority Guest Rewards member - we’ve accumulated many a meal, drink or upgrade voucher point! The rooms are so clean and staff are friendly. The views on the Cathedral side are gorgeous to both wake up to and fall asleep to. Super comfy beds and pillows, and I love the bathrooms! We’ve always found our rooms quiet and have slept soundly as a result. Easy to access with onsite parking and spoiled for choice with meals and drinks. I simply LOVE the cocktail bar - ambiance plus, great cocktail selection and tasty bar foods. The bottle and cured meat displays on show are actually an interesting feature! Can’t wait to stay there again in April! ☺️ See you then!
