Work function at @riot_bar: beautiful venue, amazing food, great drink options, and top notch and attentive service. Whether you're looking for just drinks, or an amazing meal, or a function, then you should consider coming here ☺️☺️☺️. . Picada plate - cured meats, cheeses, and pickles: fantastic way to start a meal! Super yummy selection of nibbles ☺️☺️. . Warmed marinated olives: even though I'm not a big fan of olives, these were pretty nice! . Gazander oysters: so fresh and delicious with a tangy dressing 😍😍. . Pan Catalan: toasted sourdough with tomato and garlic - so good! . Jamon iberico: can't go wrong with jamon 😋😋. . Harissa kingfish skewers: the kingfish was perfectly cooked with a crispy skin, and that Harissa was amazing 😍😍. So good! . 350g Kerwee porterhouse steak with pine mushroom butter: this is hands down one of the best steak I have ever had! Super juicy and tender, and almost melts in your mouth 😍😍. The pine mushrooms on top were divine 😍😍. . Side dishes: - Triple cooked potatoes: these are absolutely fantastic! So crispy and delicious 🤤🤤😋😋. - Seasonal leaves . Basque cheesecake: perfect way to end the meal! The cheesecake was rich and creamy, and not too sweet. Absolute perfection 😍😍. . Lemon and lychee spritz: such a yummy drink!

Hard pressed to find somewhere to eat on a Monday night? This is a great find! The challenge is not ordering everything on the menu - it all sounded delicious. Thankfully we were a group of 5, so were able to order generously. And we were not disappointed! Great venue, great service, great wine, great food! I can't wait to return.

Incredible experience last night. We were a small group of 4 who enjoyed some incredible food and drinks. Niels was an incredible host who partook in our banter and made us feel comfortable. Some of the best food I have eaten. We were having such a good time we were the last group there and they basically had to kick us out to close up. HIGHLY recommend this place!!!!!

Great wine concept, food up and down, but I like what they are trying to do. Three stars is due to service. I know so many places at the moment are struggling for staff (let alone good staff) so when you are new, the place isn't very busy and you have enough staff on, look at the customers not your phone. Check in on the customers instead of chatting amongst yourselves. Offer water perhaps so they don't have to ask for it an hour later. More than ever these first months are so crucial as I'm sure you know. Don't loose customers due to indifference.

Loved it, great addition to the CBD dining scene. Informal tapas style dishes and service with a smile, great work Mon 🙌

This was the top dining experience of my trip to Australia on this ocassion. From the moment one steps inside this pastel coloured clean lined Scandi interior, with open kitchen at the end, one feels welcome. Service, atmosphere, knowledge of staff of the dishes, calibrated engagement level with diners - spot on. Then there is the food - innovative, clever, and even more better known dishes (eg zuccini flowers with fabulous vegan lemon mousse), beautifully executed. Pork head croquettes paired up with green salad (yellow pickled and fresh green long beans, greens) - divine! Beef tongue skewes with grilled pineapple - something that one would not only not cook at home, but not find at many restaurants these days. That was a thing of beauty and an explosion of flavour! Grilled sardines with jamon -comfort food on the plate. Beautiful stone fruit tart to finish. Bar Riot carries a fab sharing and caring menu, with great wines by the glass selection. I heartily recommend this fabulous, vivid new addition to the Adelaide dining scene.

Had hubby's 60th birthday party at Bar Riot recently and we were blown away by the professionalism, courtesy and friendliness of all of the staff!!! They catered for our 60 guests without a single flaw. We highly recommend this venue for your next function. It is a spacious area with some great quirky touches. All we can say is love, love, love, Bar Riot.

Great service, food and decor. Really enjoyed our time spent at Bar Riot. Can't post any photos cause we ate it all before we thought about it. Nice to see the chefs working in the open kitchen. Tapas style of food which is great cause you get to try many different dishes.

Been here twice now and it's been fantastic both times. Really thoughtful and creative menu that matches really well with the types of wine Riot makes. Vegan options are fantastic, we were treated to so many delicious options. The summer greens tart, grilled snow pea salad and roasted carrots are essentials. And don't forget the yellow stone-fruit tart - it might be the best dessert I've ever eaten! The flavours and textures all compliment each other so well, it is clear there was much care put into designing this menu. The lemon spritz is amazing also, the fresh rosemary is such a nice touch! As well as the wonderful food and drink, the atmosphere and team are lovely. Love the design of the interior and the open kitchen where you can watch the cooks work their magic. Service is outstanding, such thoughtful staff that want to give you the best experience possible. (Thank you Jake for making us feel extra special). Very worth the visit if you want an easy going meal and some lovely wine to match (especially fellow vegans, you will feel right at home).

Wonderful food and lovely service. An exquisite wine bar / restaurant on Gilbert Street. Niels, our waiter, is a delightful person. Thank you Jake for making us feel so welcome! The venue’s decor is really good…love the exposed kitchen…and the two chefs, a couple that were happy to chat…and they’re pretty good at their trade! An enjoyable, pleasant experience - thank you…as Arnold would say ‘I’ll be back’!

We had the most wonderful food that I have tasted in quite some time. The chicken was so tender and juicy it melted in your mouth, the heirloom carrots and the sauce were exceptional. The wine are fantastic. The decor is light and bright and the exposed kitchen is gleaming of cleanliness. The night was topped off with the friendly staff - Jake and Niels.
