Living in Campbelltown we are very spoilt for choice but Dilanos is the place we keep coming back to. The food is simply the best. The gnocchi Ragu is made of pillowy soft house made gnocchi with a luxurious, rich and delicious red sauce. I can’t get enough of the squid ink seafood risotto - such a generous amount of seafood and flavour profile is perfect. If you want to dine in it’s a perfect spot. Johnny and the team will make you feel welcome and you’ll keep coming back!!!

Johnny is a gracious host and an innovative chef. Dilano’s take’s Pasta and Risotto to another level by combining fresh local produce with an unbiased passion for flavour and uniqueness. The quality of the food here is excellent and wouldn’t be out of place in a hatted establishment. Bravo Chef Johnny ! Expect a visit from some culinary greats very soon…

Amazing soft pillows of gnocchi and ragu sauce! Generous portions of seafood in the pasta and perfect amount of chili. Really enjoyed the tiramisu too! Great customer service and homely touch from the owner who is also the main chef. He was kind enough to take the time to introduce us to his son, the name of the restaurant. He also explained that the beautiful orchid paintings adorn the restaurant walls in remembrance of his sister. Will definitely be back again!

First of all, the service at Dilano’s was fantastic. There was only one waitress tonight and she was running the front of house. She was very attentive and made everyone feel comfortable. We ordered the capsicum bread as a starter, crab pasta and a tagliatelle to share. The food was absolutely amazing. Each dish could not be faulted and we agreed that we would definitely be coming back to try their risottos next time. Highly recommend for good quality food and service.

Hands down the best Pasta you will find in Adelaide. Everything was delicious, fresh and made with passion. The Handmade Gnocchi was the highlight of course and the Crab Pasta wow! An absolute gem of a place; fantastic small Italian restaurant with amazing food and great service We came here for a birthday dinner and I had really high hopes - a small little restaurant in the heart of Newton that's always busy... how can you not be hopeful Not only did it live up to expectations, but this place exceeded them with flying colours. Amazing food, utilising fresh ingredients and pairing them to bring out simple, yet great, flavours The staff were also incredible - friendly, knowledgeable and exuding a family-like vibe This place is an absolute gem and I'll definitely be back. Dinner is a must, but I think this place would be great for lunch too

Very delicious food. Delicate flavours and the service was great. Staff were very friendly and seems to be a very nice place. Although I felt that the pricing was moreso on the pricey side compared to the quantity, we weren’t full enough after the meal. The pictures taken are the quantities it was served as. I’m used to the restaurants I went to serving me more quantity which may be why. The flavours are one of the best pasta I had despite my experience. I would definitely go back again to try different menus as well. 5/5 for flavour :)

Came here with my partner last night for our anniversary. The gnocchi was so soft and fluffy I highly recommend ordering it! Was the best gnocchi I’ve ever had. The other pasta dish was nice. The only complaint I have is the automatic door. Every time it opened, you’d get the biggest cold air on you. I loved the decor as well. It wasn’t overly clear how to order, maybe because it was fully booked and the food took ages to come out but we’ll definitely be back.

Everything we ate was fresh and delicious. It is already my second visit within three days, but I will visit again. It was a satisfying time to feel the confidence of the owner chef. I hope you enjoy it when you have enough time to eat. I’d recommend it as a good place to go with friends, family, or a partner. Do try their famous Carpaccio di polpo & Linguine mare di Bianca. The Tagliatelle con pollo and Furtti di mare I tasted today were also indispensable. And don't miss out on the ‘Pepperanate with olive’ of entry and try it.

Food was a lil salty but I would say this would be one of Adelaide’s better pasta joints. Owner was super nice and friendly. Owner’s hospitality would prob be the standout of the night. The wine was delish and Omg the potatoes! 🤤 I’d def be back for those tots!

No wonder this place has such a high rating. The chef is very passionate about his job. He has pride in his foods and he proved it with his dishes. The tagliatelle amalfi (a cream pasta) was the best pasta I've ever had, and the chef's special squid ink gnocchi had a great texture and was full of flavours. As a tiramisu lover, their tiramisu was the best one I've ever had as well. So sad that I've been missing out on this place but now that I know, I'll be coming back to try every single menu they have!

We’re visitors from Perth and have been fortunate to visit Adelaide 3 times over 2 years period and have visited this place at least once every time. Every time we’ve been in town, we’re so thankful to have found this place! Too good to be true? YES BUT IT IS TRUE! Run by a son/ dad duo / family business… the food is unreal. Some of the freshest seafood I’ve had in dishes (on par with 5 star places if I’m honest) - softest, juiciest scallop! Everything on the menu is unreal and we have never been disappointed (only once when he sold out of his tiramisu!). From the bread starter, ragu polenta, squid ink risotto, ragu gnocchi, seafood bianca… pretty much his whole menu is made with love and passion! Seems like my partner and I have been lucky each time with the wait time - yes perhaps a tad longer than your usual places.. but 100% worth the wait. We seem to always be in/out of the place within 1-1.5hrs including eating time. The owner/ son is friendly and always checking in with your food to ensure you’re happy. We go back to Perth craving their menu and cannot wait to revisit Adelaide just to visit this place!! Do yourself a favour and visit this place!

Honestly the best pasta I’ve had in Adelaide. Ordered the Gnocci Ragu, Linguine Mare Di Bianca and the Tagliatelle Amalfi which were all soo good! Standout would be the gnocci (although truly they were all really amazing). The service was also outstanding and I cannot fault this place! Thank you to John and the team!

Lovely, cosy spot in the Newton shopping centre. The decor was so nice and colourful and the staff were friendly and professional. All the pasta dishes were so balanced, delicious and more importantly fresh. I literally loved every bite. Everything in that beautiful restaurant has a story that you should listen and think about it. The head chef and owner, John, is a passionate, kind and lovely chef and you can tell why the food is so good. I will visit this place soon again and can not wait to try other dishes. Well done to the team.

A true testament to how good a dish is how clean the plate is after. I had the crab linguine and loved every bite of it. I would be licking the plate if not for dining etiquette. The flavours were profound, the portion was reasonable and there was actual crab meat unlike other pasta places. The owner was also lovely. Would return again 100%.
