Absolutely wonderful place. Homey vibe, friendly locals, and delicious food!!! 5 Stars!! And I don't just give out 5 star ratings, in fact this may be one of my first. BUT THAT STEAK... seriously one of THE best steaks I've had in my life...hands down. Sides and all were hot off the grill and melt in your mouth. **Oh and get a reservation if you're trying for dinner, the locals fill this jewel up fast!

Great food and service. The burger was juicy and flavorful. The poutine with andouille gravy is so tasty!

We were looking for a non-chain restaurant that served steaks and was open at lunch time on a weekend. Blinkers Tavern did not disappoint! The entire staff was incredibly friendly, accommodating, and helpful. The food, from appetizers to mains, was delicious! One steak was overcooked and they had a new one ready quickly so that we all still ate together. There is plenty of seating, indoors and outside. Limited parking behind and lots within a block. Will definitely return!

Thus was our first time here, and we were very happy with our experience. We made a reservation. The place is on the small side, but it adds to the overall great ambiance. It was nice they has their own parking in the back. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and our server was excellent. She knew the menu very well, and had some great recommendations for us. We ended up with the poutine to start, woah! That dish is a unique twist, and delicious! Huge serving to boot! I had the bone in ribeye, and it was one if the best Steaks I have had in some time. Just delicious! The wife had Oscar filled, and she was just as impressed. Do yourself a favor, and check out Blinkers Tavern. I am sure you will enjoy yourself.

This is low key one of my favorite hidden gems in the tristate! The food is always fresh and delicious. Mother’s Day lunch was scrumptious.

My husband and I visited Blinkers Tavern to celebrate a Bengals win and explore Covington, KY. We had poutine as our starter, and it was the best poutine I've ever had!! My Canadian husband is used to more “traditional” poutine, but we both enjoyed their twist on poutine! We shared a bone in ribeye, and it was grilled perfectly with a fantastic flavor. Our server, Roni, was very knowledgeable regarding the menu and wine list. Roni automatically brought us extra gravy, packaged our leftovers, and gave us to-go silverware! She was very kind and deserves a raise!!

This location was a suggestion from our son who had a birthday dinner with his girlfriend here a few years ago. Blinkers did not disappoint. I had a delicious filet and we had some amazing appetizers and cocktails. Shrimp cocktail was awesome and I loved the calamari. It is just a sweet little local place!!

We went in the afternoon and it was a very cozy and chill atmosphere. The service was great and prompt and we had privacy while also not feeling like we had been forgotten haha. The food was superb, absolutely phenomenal. They had an extensive beer and bourbon list with some great choices. We're so happy we found this little hole in the wall kind of place. Also they have a back patio that was adorable and closed off but still very open.

when I work in Cincinnati this is my go to place across the river in Covington Kentucky. It's close to the hotel that I stay at and probably some of the best food in the area. Simply put I love this place. I will recommend that you call ahead for reservations even if it's only a single person. It seems this place is always packed and sometimes I have to wait but it's well worth it almost everything I've gotten here has been made with perfection. For the overall price quality and service blinkers can't be beat. It's easy to recommend this place to all my friends family and followers and definitely deserving of a 5/5 star review. Added next visit on 01-09-2023 Perfect- still one of the best in the area. Adding photos.

I have never been to this area and wanted a steak. I did not want the normal chain restaurant and find this place using Google reviews. I was not disappointed. Great prices of outstanding food. The steak was cook to perfection, the drinks were tasty and reasonably priced, and the staff was great. If I lived her I would make thinks a regular place to eat. However, make a reservation, we got lucky and seats were open at the bar or there would have been a 2 hr wait.

Truly unbeatable price for service, food, and location. Our waitress was awesome and the steaks were soooo good. Fun fact the seasoning is a secret made exclusively by the owner prior to getting to the restaurant. The Mac and cheese was superb and the bone in ribeye was delicious. Totally understand why the awards are given and with the overall price you can't go wrong. The one mistake I made was getting the caesar over the cobb which looked killer. Caesar dressing was thin and had me a bit disappointed. The restaurant is a tad claustrophobic especially during peak times but short of that the overall experience was fantastic!

What a gem!! Our waitress was very attentive and took very good care of us. The food was soooo good! I ordered the chicken alfredo and I think it was the best I have EVER had in a restaurant!! I would highly suggest this restaurant. It is pricey but so worth it!!

The Tuesday steak night was great for its price. There was a 10oz NY strip for $25 with sides and on top of that, a soup or a salad. It was wonderful value for its price.

I brought my out of town aunts to try this place I have always raved about on a Saturday at 3:30. Place was dead. Perfect for us to try some cocktails and some steak appetizers and give them a taste as we had already eaten at smoke justis next door, but I really wanted them to sample this place. As we were starting to take turns using the restroom and leave some man came out of the kitchen and politely asked if we would be leaving soon. First, why? The place was empty. Second, is this how your place runs a business. Asking guests that have only been there an hour and half to leave? Finally, I emailed this place about the experience that had my aunts in a tizzy after we left and no one has reached out to me. Your food might be great, but your service is seriously lacking. P.S. we didn’t even complain (but now I will) that while we were eating and drinking your expensive drinks and food that one of your employees sat down at a table next to us to eat Taco Bell…. What a great eye sore that was.

Difficult to decide between 4 & 5 stars... Great steak & pork chop! Very attentive service. Sides, bread, not quite as good. Oh, blueberry bread pudding was very good.

Bone in ribeye was cooked perfectly we ordered it rare. Cesar salad wasn't anything special. They did not have anchovies. Cheesecake tasted generic and frozen, probably would not order that again. Wine selection was decent. Service was slow even though it wasn't busy in the resturant and dirty plates were left on our table.

We enjoyed our visit. Food was good and so was the service. The picture of the pasta is half size. I asked them to box the other half prior to bringing it out so I could have it for another meal. Pasta was teally good even days later. Spicy margarita wasn't great, but it was a big serving. Being a tavern, it would have been nice to have a bar mix (pretzels, popcorn, etc) to munch on while waiting. We sat in the bar area so we aren't sure if the experience would change sitting elsewhere.

Our party of six received excellent service from Shelly. His NY strip was on special and the accompanying mushrooms were fresh and delicious. The steak was prepared a bit under but Shelly whisked it off to the kitchen and it was returned quickly at the right temperature. Baked potato was good. Caesar salad was also good but average. My grouper Amanda was quite good served over perfectly tender asparagus and with a nice creamy lemon caper sauce. Had the mixed greens salad. Nothing special on its own, but the blood orange vinaigrette changed it into something special. Delicious!! Very good bread basket. Overall pleasant evening with great service and affordable dinner.

This place is amazing, a true hidden gem! We had the poutin, open face ribeye, fish and chips and southwest salad. The steak was like cutting into butter. The fish and chips was seasoned to perfection. The southwest salad with chicken and homemade dressing ranch was huge and so tasty. The star of the meal was the appetizer the POUTINE with the most flavorful andouille gravy. Our server Steve was absolutely the BEST! Whenever I’m back in Cincy/N. Kentucky We are definitely coming back!

The ambiance is not done justice from the pictures. This place is warm and welcoming. Staff is good natured and it is obvious that they like working here. Everything was great-soup, salad, steaks. Well above average. Great selection of bourbons. Don’t forget to ask for Bella’s Two-Hearted Ale!

Our experience was a family 5 star 21st birthday made special by Blinkers. A very relaxing environment with excellent quality food and service. We tried everything from grilled cheese (for our 2 year old)/ NY Strip for others, and I had Filet Mignon awesome.

Such a great place. Both visits now were definitely worth the drive from Oakley. I don't eat much fish ever but loved the huge portion of Fish & Chips and so did my wife. No complaints from either of us. We will definitely be back for a steak some evening.

I was there for a business dinner. When we got there at 5:30 there were a few people there and I thought the place was very nice. By the time we left at 7:00 the restaurant was full. It is clear why the restaurant was full. The food was great and our server was very knowledgeable. We had an excellent time and we could have a conversation without being loud to hear each other. Overall we had an excellent dinner and dessert.

Best steak I've had in a long time! Went on Sunday for the steak special.. 10oz strip, a side and salad or soup for 23 dollars. Steak was cooked perfectly. Also shared the giant soft pretzel and cheesesticks for appetizers and they were so yummy. Service was excellent as well. Was also a plus they had a parking lot for customers behind the restaurant as it can be hard to park at some of those down there that only have street parking.

Had the most lovely experience at this most excellent restaurant. We were welcomed by such a lovely and kind hostess. We then had a phenomenally constructed drink by the outstanding bartender Zachary. I could not have hoped for a better start but somehow it improved. The most excellent waiter Clint made our dining experience dreamy.

This place is excellent. Great food comparable to some higher end restaurants. Service was excellent. We had steaks both were cooked to order and very good. We normaly do not get desert, but the orange bread pudding, and lava cake WOW. What an ending to the evening.
