In this cold winter weather, I always crave for a warm bowl of tasty noodle soup - Sui Yuang Fresh Noodles is one of my favourite places to go in the city. I rate their spicy beef noodle soup 5 starts! I admit, I do ask for the spicyness to be on the mild side. :-) It comes in regular or large size with decent amount of noodles...and the soup is just amazing! The price is pretty good as well. Located at 88 Gawler Place, the venue is OK and can cater for a few people, now having a second level dining area. It gets pretty full during lunch so I recommend coming in by early. Highly recommended if you are around the city.

I am a long time fan of the fresh noodle soups from Sui Yuang. Their style of food is that spicy mouth numbing heat which keeps you coming back. I tried their boiled pork dumplings today and was slightly disappointed - plump and juicy but not a lot of taste. The soup on the other hand was a hug in a bowl. The broth had so much depth of flavour. The braised beef cubes melted in your mouth. The fresh noodles had a great texture.

Everything is quite lovely here, from the food to the service and atmosphere. Enough for a nice meal. Thanks!

Although food is undeniably very good, service at lunchtime is excruciatingly slow. I waited 45 minutes for my lunch last week, and was late for an important meeting as a result. Waited 20 mins so far today... It seems food is cooked fresh on a dish by dish basis - with no components of the dish ready to go for quicker assembly. When your cafe is busy, which it is is every day, service needs to be faster. Very simple. Either pre-prepare key parts of the dishes, or hire more kitchen staff. Edit: Food arrived. 5x small pieces of beef constitute beef in spicy beef noodles that cost $16.

Suiyuan Noodle Bar is a fantastic place to enjoy traditional Chinese Yunnan noodles and rice noodles. The flavors are authentic and true to their roots, providing a genuine culinary experience. Located in the CBD, it becomes bustling and popular during lunch hours, which is a testament to its delicious offerings. Personally, I have a preference for their rice noodles, which are incredibly smooth and served in flavorful soup. I highly recommend trying their Suiyuan Ground Pork Cabbage Rice Noodle soup—it has a slight kick of spice, but the rich and flavorful broth, combined with the fresh vegetables, creates a delightful and refreshing combination. Every dishes are freshly made and tasty. However, waited more than 30 minutes for lunch hours is not ideal for anyone who works in the city with 30 minutes to an hour’s break. No time to waste on the wrong order taken by the staff. Services are one major issue that brings the rating down.

Quality food and friendly service, this a classic chinese southwestern restaurant. There's no number for customer, so you need to tell where to sit when you order. In addition, you need to check the business hours, many times it is closed.

The rice noodles are ok, the price is very good. I find the noodles to be slightly lack in flavour otherwise the soup is very nice. The preserved egg dish I quite like, the flavoring is absolutely delicious, but it’s very niche, some may find the eggs disgusting.

Great food and been mutiple times but get ready to be assaulted by the loudest slurping sounds imaginable. Basically it’s a competition between who can be the biggest pig and make the loudest open mouth slurping noises. Disgusting!
