Located at the heart of Adelaide, this mall is a picturesque destination. It features live music performances and hosts a wide array of renowned brands. A leisurely stroll through the mall alone is enough to evoke a sense of delight. Even in the evening when the shops are closed, the mall's enchanting light decorations create a truly captivating ambiance, offering visitors a unique and memorable view. During the Christmas season, the mall boasts distinctive and radiant holiday decorations that shine brilliantly at night, making it an absolute must-see for those fortunate enough to be in the area during this festive time of the year.

Rundle Mall is Australia’s first pedestrianized mall where one can relish thousands of dining, shopping, and entertainment experiences on the go. Rundle Mall is well-equipped with 4 leading department stores, 15 arcades, and centers, 1000+ retail stores, and services as well as a food court with 2,500 seats – Sounds insane! Isn’t it?

A walkable shopping street in the centre of Adelaide. Interesting sculptures and a variety of shops and services. Seems to have lots of seating and shading. There were also extra light installations and art decoration during the months of Illuminate Adelaide. Love this place.

I had the chance to visit Rundle Mall in Adelaide during my Easter holidays, and I couldn't be more impressed with this bustling shopping hub. Its central location, variety of stores, and lively atmosphere make it an excellent destination for shopping enthusiasts and casual visitors alike. Situated right in the heart of Adelaide, Rundle Mall's convenient location makes it the perfect starting point for exploring the city. It's easily accessible by public transport or on foot, and there are ample parking options nearby for those who prefer to drive. The mall itself is home to an extensive range of shops, from high-end fashion boutiques to popular department stores, and everything in between. Whether you're in search of the latest trends, homewares, or gifts for loved ones, Rundle Mall has it all. I especially appreciated the time-saving aspect of having all my favorite shops in one place. Apart from shopping, Rundle Mall also offers a delightful array of dining options, cafes, and entertainment. With the numerous restaurants and eateries, there's something to suit every taste bud. The mall regularly hosts events and performances, adding to the lively atmosphere and ensuring there's always something to see and do. The mall is also adorned with iconic public art, like the famous Rundle Mall Pigs and the Spheres, which provide a touch of whimsy and create perfect photo opportunities for visitors. In summary, Rundle Mall is an absolute must-visit destination when you're in Adelaide.

What an amazing shopping street! Over 800 speciality, boutique and department stores! All what you need in just one street! There are so many mini shopping complexes within Rundle mall. Myer Centre, city cross, David Jones, Rundle Place etc., all the streets connecting to Rundle mall also have numerous shops! Friday nights and Saturday and Sunday Rundle mall vibe can be amazing with the buskers singing or performing different talents!!! Can’t miss the malls balls to meet up or for a photo opportunity! and the bronze pigs!!! I have some photos and videos to upload, but unfortunately google maps not allowing me to upload photos at the moment. I have to give full access to my gallery, I have given selective access and that doesn’t seem to work!

Busiest place, located at the heart of Adelaide. One stop shopping with branded shops, cafes, arcades, entertainments and restaurants. Very inviting to hangout and walk around at night. Artistic and trendy sculputures can be found within the area, some of those illuminates artistically at night. Every winter, over 17 days and nights, Illuminate Adelaide will light up the city’s streets, laneways and architecture. Decorations here depend on what season or any relevant festivities. Lots of fun things to do around the area.A mix of modern and heritage architectures. Family and very kids friendly place, few parks are also located within this mall, known spots like Torrens Bridge, Adelaide Oval, Museums and Convention Center

Rundle Mall offers a fantastic shopping experience that blends modern retail with historical charm. The diverse range of stores caters to every taste, from high-end fashion to unique local finds. The pedestrian-friendly layout makes strolling through the mall a delight. One standout aspect is the vibrant atmosphere, especially during events and festivals. The lively street performances and cultural events add a dynamic touch, making each visit memorable. The cleanliness and well-maintained surroundings contribute to a pleasant environment. The iconic sculptures and historical landmarks provide a sense of the mall's rich history, making it more than just a shopping destination. While it can get crowded during peak hours, the variety of dining options ensures there's something for everyone. From trendy cafes to international cuisine, Rundle Mall caters to diverse palates. It is one of the greatest places in Australia, in my opinion. Always a hive of activity, culture, experience, entertainment, and character. From the brass pig statues eating rubbish, to the girl in pigtails statue, to friendly buskers, this mall is more like a fun art gallery. I visit the mall at every chance I get when I'm in Adelaide, often staying at hotels close by so I can just walk around in the evening.

This city is the cleanest city I have seen! We visited for the Fringe Festival, stopping along the way to visit friends in the country town of Sherlock, before hitting the Murray River, the heart of the city centre, and onto Henley Beach. 😊 Brisbane, Qld.

A must have to visit when you come to Adelaide. I'm lucky to have chance spending Christmas here. So many thing you can buy on Boxing day. Just one thing I don't like is all malls, shops and stores close at 5pm :)))

It is extremely easy to locate the Mall and based on where you are staying it may make sense to take the free tram to get there. The Mall is a large shopping complex with lots of stores Rundle Mall is mostly a pedestrian Mall and is a great place to shop with places to eat and drink. There are the usual chain stores and many others. An interesting place to visit off Rundle Mall is the historic Adelaide Arcade and Gay's Arcade. Here you can appreciate the interesting architecture, more unusual shops and enjoy a snack while admiring the surroundings. You can pick up a self guided historic tour booklet which is well worth it if you are interested in history. We had a great time walking up and down the street on a busy Saturday. Lots to see, some good street performers. Streets were clean and shops inviting. Worth a visit.

A beautiful shopping precinct in the heart of Adelaide city. Accessible by a free tram ride from with in the CBD area. It has big brand names, local and small businesses and several cafes. Food courts are located under several buildings for a variety of a food options. The outdoor mall has several sitting benches available as well as toilet facilities. It’s very close to North Terrace and River torrens. A must visit when in Adelaide.

Great place to unwind and go on a shopping spree in the middle of Adelaide. Well connected by public transport. And you'll always find e-scooters nearby to ride on. Warning: the actual alley of Rundle mall is a no go zone for e-scooters and your e-scooter will power down if you try to drive through the open mall, may have to push through back to the street - which is not he best thing when you were zooming past crowd just a minute earlier.

Amazing place for shopping where you got choices and varieties to buy however car parking is the worst nightmare and need to pay for the car parking for no reason. Buses and public transports are free inside city area.

Very clean with a couple of great buskers. Sad to see some of the shops on Rundle Street closed down. Target having their entry doors wide open with the hot air billowing out may be enticing on a cold day but think about it! There's an energy crisis going on, some people can't afford to heat their abodes, and energy costs are rising. Maybe not a good look? On a positive note the artwork by Salvadore Dali is worth seeing.

Rundle Mall is a pedestrian street mall located in Adelaide, South Australia. It was opened as a pedestrian mall in September 1976 by closing the section of Rundle Street between King William Street and Pulteney Street. Lovely place to spend sometime while shopping. Only paid parking is available.
