We went to the balcony bar. Whilst the views would be fantastic in the daylight, at night we found the glass safety barrier way too reflective and too high to provide a decent viewing experience Not sure why it was so bad here but for some reason it works at 2KW for example Also on the night we went it was very cold and wet - inside the bar as well as outside There seemed to be little or no heating provided Also all the chairs and tables were totally wet, yet they weren't adequately wiped down by staff if at all. You could see people arriving and quickly leaving due to this I did take some lovely photos (see below) but I had to hold my phone high above the reflective glass barrier to do it Lucky I'm tall.

One of the best hotels i have had the pleasure of staying at in Adelaide. The rooms are spectacular, the staf are extremely good at their job, friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel for the luxurious get away from the everyday grind.

I hadn't been for years, it's been extended, very modern, more bars, places to sit and have a drink. Good for a meal or snacks. Seen a couple live singers/ band. Very covid safe, plenty of security. Very clean & tidy, staff very on it. Obviously if you want to gamble, there's lots of different areas to entertain yourself

Has had some great improvements. Many machines, tables, digital and old school even a few arcade games. Additional several eateries and bars and also a mini brewery, live bands for great music and vibes.

Not a bad casino, with good dining options. Covid restrictions have hit them hard, making the experience less enjoyable as it’s impossible to get on the few tables they have at times. Some of the dealers are just robots, not even replying to “hello” and avoiding all eye contact.

One of the must-go place of Adelaide and the only casino in South Australia. Whether you are coming from interstate or from South Australia, this place is a place to relax with so many options to choose from. Obviously, it is a great gaming area with roulettes, black jacks, and poker tournaments. Lots of popular signature restaurants like Sean's kitchen, ITL, and Madam Hanoi. Other quick and daily deal restaurants and cafes like Guardsman, Central Cafe, Lucky Noodles. Got a rooftop bar called SOL, too. And live music during weekends in District, plus live sports to enjoy from Sports Bar.

I hadn't been for a long, long time and was impressed with how it looks these days. The decor is very nice and the machines all look very new and very different to the old sort. The cafe was good with great coffee and a nice assortment of cakes. Great for a visit after a show at the Festival Theatre.

Great poker room, handful of 2/2 tables running that had a great mix of friendly locals up for a chat. Any skill level is welcome and would recommend for a first timer! For those who are interested, rake was 10% on 2/2 capped at $16 with $1 of that going towards the jackpot (currently at $35000 for royal flush) 2/5 rake was 5% capped at $21 with $1 for jackpot. They also run a high card on some nights which is drawn at 11pm. If you are the winner of the highest holding at the end of this time you also get a $250 bonus for the night. None of the higher limit tables seem to get up often.

Oh what a night, it really was. The ballroom was decorated so beautifully for the xmas in July show. The food was absolutely amazing; staff were attentive and friendly. The show was brilliant, well done all round. Worth every cent and more! Brilliant!

Attended a Tasting Australia event at Madame Hanoi with friends. Madame's Gin Takeover Festival of Food. Lovely surroundings. Gin cocktails sympathetically paired with the food. A lovely evening of wining and dining. Bought a bottle of the locally made Gin to take home. Really enjoyed this event.

The boozy brunch at Sol rooftop was just what we needed to kick off my friends hen's night. The service here was incredible and the staff were extremely friendly and attentive - I would visit again here for the service alone. The cocktails and the brunch was too notch too

Haven't been back for a long time. Renovations have been nice. Still more Reno's surrounding it but I would assume they will turn out great.

Brilliant architecture. This view is from the north side adjacent to the Festival Theatre (River Torrens) side. This photo was taken from the footbridge. What appears to be a tunnel leads you to the Adelaide Train Station (heading south). The steps on the left of the photo take you to another entry point of the Festival Theatre, on the right side (out of photo) there is an lift that provides wheelchair access to the Torrens Ground Level. There are also lifts in the train station that take to North Terrace street level.🦼

SkyCity Adelaide is a definite must-visit, and its rooftop bar elevates the experience to new heights — both literally and figuratively. The panoramic views from the rooftop are breathtaking, offering a unique perspective of the city skyline. The ambiance is chic and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a relaxing evening or a celebratory night out. The attentive staff adds to the overall positive atmosphere, providing excellent service with a smile. What sets SkyCity apart is the well-curated selection of beverages and the creativity behind their cocktails. The rooftop setting adds an extra layer of enjoyment to every sip. It's a fantastic place to unwind, whether you're catching up with friends or enjoying a romantic night out. I particularly appreciated the attention to detail in the design and layout of the rooftop area. It's evident that SkyCity has created a space that not only offers a top-notch drinking experience but also complements the beauty of Adelaide. Overall, SkyCity Adelaide, with its stunning rooftop bar, has become one of my favorite spots in the city. Highly recommended for those looking to elevate their social experience in Adelaide

This was a near perfect hotel experience. From letting us keep our bags there whilst we flew to Alice Springs for 3 days to the seamlessness of just actually staying there, it was all excellent. The location is great for both the city and the river. We had a river view room and the view over the Oval, Festival theatre and the river was stunning. I didn't book a room with a balcony as we find we don't use them, but this time I wished that I had done. The bed was comfortable, there were complimentary snacks and a bottle of wine for my birthday arranged by the wonderful concierge, Lavinia. I loved the iPad to control the room and anything else that you needed for your stay. The staff were good without being too obsequious; when the remote broke, we had a new one within 30 mins and a sorry for putting us through that! The casino was huge but didn't impact on our stay, and the bar and restaurant were fab! The mixologist made me the best Cosmopolitan even though it wasn't on the menu. This was also the first hotel to have both a rubbish bin and a recycling bin.

Probably should have been there on the weekend 🤷🏻‍♀️… it was quiet and boring on a Monday night. No entertainment whatsoever. Went in and out in half hour. Had dinner at the cafe which was nice. Note: there’s no doggy-bag so come hungry!

Loved the night I had there. Such a fun and bright place to be in. You don't have to gamble but its there if your in the mood for added fun on the night. I only saw a small part of the venue. Enjoyed the company I was in at The Chandelier Bar and then on to the Cafe for a delicious meal at an affordable price. We joined up to get the benefits on the night and beyond. Ended the night with a Esspresso Martina. NICE🙂

Nice place to visit if you want to try to gamble for the first time. Ambience is good and the smell in the place is very attracting in a good way, not sure why. We had our dinner here as well, would be a 5 star but gave it a 4 cause our meal arrived almost 45 mins late as they had issues with the gas at the kitchen not working on that day.

The Belle Helene cocktail was aaaaahmazing and playing roulette was so much fun, the attendants didn't even mind explaining the rules to us..

Food was good at Central Cafe, except for the gravy which had a very weird after taste. They had no reserve signs to put on machines which makes it very hard to go to the loo or get a drink. And the coke machine is very confusing to use with no real instructions on how to use it. Staff were very polite.

Unable to get a hot coffee in the Central Café. Have been there twice in a week and both times asked for extra hot coffee. Lukewarm on both occasions. It can't be that difficult. Would not recommend going there if you like hot coffee. It is not something they comprehend.

From rude security guards to expensive drinks. If you visit here be careful what area your in. Some areas definitely have more customer focus than others

I actually went to the Guardsman Restaurant in the Adelaide Railway station building which is right next door to Sky City. The meals were tasty, reasonably priced and HUGE!!!! The staff were helpful, friendly and very Covid aware. We enjoyed our outing very much and will definitely go back .

I am talking about the Guardsman restaurant. The staff was friendly and helpful and the steak was cooked to perfection. It was great to see products from South Australia instead of cheap imports! It is a place where you can taste a great variety of South Australian beers without having to drive all over the place. The restaurant is next to the railway station, which means you can enjoy a nice meal , a few drinks and take the train home.
