Very disappointed in our stay at the Quest on Franklin and even more disappointed in management’s response to our complaint about the hygiene standards in the room that we stayed in. Which was a simple “thank you for letting us know” reply from management. There was mould in the bathroom sink that my partner and I had to clean, as we were so disgusted and needed to use the sink to wash our hands and brush our teeth. The toilet had no toilet seat attached and every time we flushed the toilet the flush button feel on the floor and we had to fit it back on to be able to use the toilet again. This was by far the worst accommodation we have stayed the rooms were not up to standard. It honestly felt like a public bathroom in our room, the smell of sewage was evident, the amenities were subpar and the room itself was also basic. Only two sugar sachets for tea and coffee meant only one person could have a cup of tea. It’s just sad that we paid $261 for 1 night in a room with mould and a below average room. This was meant to be our date night. The staff at check in and check out were not friendly, we received no smile, no how was your stay or any opportunity for feedback. When we checked out the staff member took our key card back, said thank you that’s all and preceded to serve the next customer. When I asked how long will it take to get the $300 deposit back, she said “talk to your bank”. I really wanted to write this review to inform others not to use this hotel. The service, facilities and hygiene standard was all of concern to me and I would recommend you do not stay at the Quest on Franklin.

This is a well packaged home away from home. The hospitality team are very friendly, supportive, and accommodating. The rooms are awesome and well loaded for all that you need from utility to entertainment. I live it here. If you are lucky to be between the 7th and 14th floor, you are sure to have a good view of the city. Central Bus Station is just opposite, close to China Town, and surrounded by some shopping Malls

Excellent location in Adelaide City Center, only 500m from Rundle Mall and the main city square. Several food options around and convenience stores around. 2 bedroom apartment was spacious and had everything you would need. Small issues were wifi had issues connecting and needing to call IT to manually enable it. Parking is also at the Grote St Upark a distance away, tiny issue if you have young kids like us. Overall still recommended to try it out if you are staying in Adelaide city center.

Our bed sheets and quilt had large blood stains, a couple towels had fresh small blood stains and a few other stains I didn’t want to look too closely at (boogers) when we contacted the front desk they had some fresh sheets brought up but they did not make the bed for us nor did they take the blood stained sheets from our room. I spent half an hour cleaning the coffee maker because it had not been changed since the guest before us, it had pasta sauce or something cooked onto it which i also cleaned off along with the used coffee pods left inside. The staff were very friendly but we had to ask for compensation as they did not offer initially, what we received was a $40 voucher for breakfast at Crack down the road. Food was lovely but that is not good enough.

No transparency with parking fee communication. No mention that parking costs $25 per day. No one told me at time of booking, check in, and check out. They just charged parking fee from my credit card 2 months after my stay without any notice. Will not recommend.

Wifi is extremely fast (yay), but I had a faulty dryer that short circuited my room and wasn’t fixed or replaced for several days. Then staff mistakenly put my room on a ‘do not service’ list because they somehow thought I was a COVID close contact (!). They didn’t even ask. Had to make my own bed and clean the floors and bathroom myself.

Room was nice and had everything one needed. The only issue is and why I'm not giving it a 5 star is that we were located on a lower floor and the balcony view was let's say, a very close wall of a car park. Very little natural light because of this and highly recommended a higher floor if I was to stay here again.

Staff are super friendly and accommodating, rooms are spacious and well stocked with basic amenities (for reference, I stayed in a 2br serviced apartment), location is very convenient and well situated next to bustling food districts so there are no shortages of options when you have a craving for a particular type of meal. Parking is located across the road to the hotel with the entrance on the opposite street and is easy enough to negotiate. There are also normally Neuron electric scooters parked out front in the morning so you can hop on and get to where you need a little quicker if that's your thing.

Good location and spacious rooms. Packed with sufficient facilities and amenities for family or couples and singles. Would wish for toilets with standing shower for the 2 bedders. Nevertheless, a great place.

Came for Australian masters with my team. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Housekeeping ladies were also lovely restocking our towels daily. As an ex-housekeeper I was impressed with the level of cleanliness. Overall I would definitely recommend

Very disappointed. Was placed in a small room which is not what was paid for and then told the 1bedroom executive had 3 different layouts, just so happened that mine was the same layout as a standard 1bedroom. Staff were nice and relocating me however I had left a belonging in my old room. 6 hours later when I told them that I don't have it they said they will have a look. 5 days later never found. So in the 6 hours between me moving and noticing the missing item ,it vanished in thin air. Completely untrustworthy house service staff as they are the ones that cleaned the room. Totally dishonest about finding my item even though they cleaned the dishwasher and put dishes away. Would not trust them around your belongings when your not present. As you can see from many reviews, leave a bad one and don't get a response from the owner.

Have stayed here a few times over the last 12 months. Locations ideal, close to the city, Central Market and parking. The cleanliness of the room has always been good. At times the service has been impeccable and not so. I would recommend staying here with a family.

Very comfortable room but a view of a blank wall 10 feet away.

Rooms and service were fantastic, parking was very limited for check-in. The overnight parking is off-site but only a 2 minute walk

If I could give the staff more stars I would. Service was impeccable!! The location was perfect in every direction for us, IGA down the road, then beers and bars in other locations and so close to Chinatown's great food. The room had everything we needed. We originally had a studio which was maybe a bit smaller but ended up moving to a 1 bedroom executive which was utopia. Overall 5 stars and will revisit it next time.

I recently stayed at the Quest on Franklin with my daughter and son in law to attend a family wedding in the area. We loved the spacious room and the kitchen and bathrooms were very clean and modern. We had two rooms which were interconnected and each had their own kitchen and bathroom. The rooms were serviced daily with plenty of fresh clean towels and shampoo and accessories. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. The Quest was in walking distance to the market and the main shopping mall. Also beaches and other places of interest were a short drive away. I would definitely stay here again

Great location - a stroll from Chinatown Spacious room with amenities However customer service is rather absent Stayed for 3 nights They failed to clean the room on the second night Called concierge and they advised house keeping has finished and that was around 3pm on the Saturday. They told me to come down to concierge to pick up new towels…….

The gentleman at the front desk shouldn’t be working in hospitality as he is lazy and rude to guests. The other staff members were incredibly helpful and he could learn a few things from them.

I took one star off for parking not available on site. Stayed there for a month, excellent experience. Amazing views from room and balcony. The location is pretty good with food and shopping options nearby Cleaning was 2 times a week, rooms were presented very well. staff is very friendly.

One bedroom apartment was very spacious, clean and well maintained. Room was quiet and in good location close to restaurants and market. Staff are helpful.

OK hotel, the room and the service were a bit disappointing. We got a room that was quite hard to move in the bathroom. To get to the toilet we had to get into the shower space for the door to close, very disappointing and uncomfortable. The bed was good, the room quiet and location was great for us, but the room itself wasn't great.
