Our experience was ruined by one of the rude older woman with a nose ring worker who would constantly argue with the bride. Honestly ruined the bride and the guests dining experience. You accept a booking for 19 people and expect us to be 'quiet'. We were respectful and talking at any normal level volume. But times that by 19 people of course its not going to be quiet. . The dietary meals were suboptimal. We paid $60 pp to be served vegan and plain pasta and palenta. Very underwhelming for a 4.6 star reviewed winery. Very dissatisfied and disappointed. Will not be going back.

Very disappointing lunch service. Manager was extremely condescending and rude to many of our friends. Venue was aware of our lunch booking of 19pax for over a year but acted as if they knew nothing about it, constantly telling us to be discrete and quiet when no one had actually complained about our respectful volume level of conversation amongst 19 people. Kitchen and bar staff were unprepared, quickly running out of cutlery and glassware, and telling us to bring our own glasses up to the bar to be reused. Irrespective of any miscommunication that obviously happened behind the scenes, we were treated like they did not want us there which completely ruined our experience.

As someone who has worked in Hospitality for a quite some time now, I was truly appalled by the service we received whilst attending a lunch with friends last Saturday. I understand the venue had a serious brake down in communication between their departments, but these things should never affect guest experience the way it did. Don't accept big groups in your cellar door if you cant handle them. For anyone wondering, our friends who organized for us to have lunch at Longview Winery, were meant to get married there before COVID-19 restrictions came in, so they had some credit from the winery. I would have thought somewhere as renowned as Longview, would have acknowledged this by giving outstanding service, but unfortunately they missed the memo. Very disappointed, will certainly not be recommending this as an establishment to visit.

We were looking for a wedding venue for a very long time before we stumbled across Longview Vineyard. From the moment we drove in, we were in awe of how beautiful the place was. From there our experience only got better. Callie and Jess were very helpful and made eased a lot of our stresses, by accommodating to our needs. 10/10 customer service. On the day of the wedding all our guests complimented the food and wines. Stating it was one of the best. We also stayed the night before and after the wedding. The rooms exceeded our expectations and the views were breath taking. Cannot recommend Longview Vineyard enough.

I recently had my wedding at longview. It was the most magical day. The events team are all amazing and very supportive and helpful, special shoutout to Callie for all your help. The winery is absolutely stunning and all our guest commented on how perfect it was. The food and drinks were to die for. The accommodation is amazing especially at the price point. Couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding venue! will 100% be visiting again.

We had a great experience at Longview. The view is stunning. Even though there was a slight technology hiccup with the spa booking online, the way the staff handled the problem has made us feel valued. My husband has enjoyed a relaxed birthday retreat at your facility. We will definitely recommend your facility to friends and family. We will be coming back. Thank you for your great service.

We absolutely cannot fault Longview for our recent experience. We would recommend to anyone wanting a venue to get married to consider Longview. Our experience from start to finish was simply spectacular. We cannot thank Callie (the wedding coordinator) and her team enough for the care, time and energy they put into our special day. Everyone was so warm and friendly, and no request was too hard. Callie is such an asset to Longview and made our day so stress free. We stayed in the Spa suite. Wonderfully relaxing overnight stay complemented by a massage the next morning. Nice breakfast provisions as well. Earlier we wandered around the beautiful grounds after having a glass in the cellar door. Even though we were still finishing our wine some time after the closure time, we didn’t feel under pressure to drink up. Great service all round . Longview has so much going for it. Definitely 5 stars

We have just spent the most beautiful weekend at Longview for our son’s wedding. The accommodation was wonderful- excellent breakfast, very comfortable bed and full self-contained kitchen. The wedding team was outstanding. They couldn’t do enough for us and set everything up perfectly. The food was delicious and the room looked beautiful. 100% recommend, Longview as a wedding venue or for just a get away stay. Thank you for making our family wedding so memorable.

I had the most amazing massage and facial by Louise at the day spa. The location is beautiful with a view overlooking the vines. I was so well looked after from start to finish. Louise was professional, friendly and so good at what she does! The perfect experience to cap off our lovely weekend celebrating our wedding anniversary. We will definitely be back!

I recently went to the day spa at Longview with my sisters. The staff were so nice, lovely and accommodating. The view was absolutely beautiful and the atmosphere was extremely tranquil and relaxing. 10/10 would recommend to groups, couples or even solo. I will definitely be booking in again!

Booked massages for my sisters & myself and WOW! The staff were so incredibly lovely and welcoming. From the moment you walk in you start feeling relaxed. They have set the mood beautifully with a comfy sun room looking over vineyard, soft music and herbal tea and drinks on offer. Massage was amazing! I went with the ‘Purified’ and it was sublime! Located off a dirt road away from the hustle & bustle of the day it is a perfect setting for relaxing and unwinding. Will DEFINITELY be going back and also keen to try out the accommodation on offer.

Booked via Amazing Co and they didn't really provide an option for dinner - however the day was saved by Josh. Not only was Josh immensely knowledgeable in his wines, but he helped us out by organising a cheeky pasta dish for us that tasted incredible. He worked with us to provide a solution to something that really wasn't the winery's problem - the sign of incredible customer service. He also told us some funny stories about pasta names. Absolutely legend. In terms of Longview, the room was great and the environment was beautiful. Will be back for sure.

Our Longview Wedding was made so much easier than we expected with the help of Callie's catch ups beforehand. Planning from interstate was a breeze and Callie's ongoing guidance, and she really made us feel we were with a safe pair of hands! Our guests loved the venue and all the special touches arranged for us. The food and wine was delicious, and obviously the long views were incredible (even in winter!)

One of the best accommodations in South Australia. We stayed at the Lodge (4 BR) and it’s just perfect. The view, the rooms with ensuites attached, the outdoor deck and the cellar are really great. Would love to come back.

We stayed in the homestead for 3 days with 3 couples and the whole experience was outstanding. The cellar door, wine and food at the restaurant, staff and accommodation were all 5 star! Views and breakfast were also really incredible!

What a beautiful property! The accommodation is just meters from the vineyard. There is a hill where you get a 360 view of all the tightly packed vineyards. Cellar door is gorgeous and the wines are fantastic. What more could you ask for? Food is top notch and the staff honestly couldn't be any nicer. Can't wait until I return!

Loved this place. Stayed for a wedding. Great rooms. Great location, close to Hahndorf. Great treats in each room also. The only thing to ‘fault’ was that cafe doesn’t open till 11am and after the wedding everyone needed a coffee. Check out is at 10am. There was a disconnect of what customers might want/need and no late checkouts unless you want to pay an extra fee. Coffee is provided in each room. But we could have all enjoyed a slow coffee after check out rather than rushing to pack up and check out in time and then go find a cafe, just extra stress especially when tired. Could be nice check out at 10 but cafe opens at 10 also. Or lenient late checkout for wedding party. Most other places allow late checkout for free or a small fee. But aside from that small detail, the place is beautiful and the rooms comfortable. I will be coming back.

I booked a suite to celebrate my wife’s birthday and we had a brilliant time. The property was beautiful and the room was really nice. The provisions for breakfast were plentiful and the kitchenette was more than sufficiently stocked to allow us to prepare a meal. The staff members were warm and friendly. We had a fantastic time and we’ll most certainly be back again. Thank you.

We stayed in the Shiraz and Pinot rooms, they were absolutely beautiful with amazing views. All breakfast foods were stocked and anything we needed was quickly brought to us. All staff were lovely including dealing with my multiple phone calls just to organize the booking. Josh looked after us for most of our stay including lunch and a wine tasting and made us feel like the only guests there, he was very informative while also making it fun. The day spa is also a must do, so relaxing!

Me and my partner went down to Longview cellar door for lunch for her Birthday. Location is amazing! A beautiful drive from the city and once there an amazing view from the dinning room where we got to taste some great food from chef Lucca! I knew Lucca's food from another restaurant that he used to run in the city but, at Longview he really blew us away with his amazing cooking skills and combination of traditional and contemporary Italian food which is clearly his forte! We are a 100% coming back soon, totally recommend!

Great experience, stayed overnight in one of the suites and did a tasting at the cellar door. Accomodation was nice with a great breakfast selection. Tasting was great and wines were all really nice and the guy working was lovely. Nice walk around the vineyard too.

Stunning views, accommodation and day spa on top of a cellar door with a restaurant. What more could you possibly ask for, award winning wines you say. Well let's throw them in the mix too. Enjoy, you won't regret it.

Great place, here with a group of friends staying in the Lodge, 4 bedrooms with ensuites. Fridge comes with food and we’ll appointed. Cellar and day spa top it off. Have to love the one star reviews about the NON Wedding, some reviews say there was no wedding until one of the reviews stated the staff argued with the Bride. Well don’t try ruin a great venue because you tried to cheat them.

My husband and I enjoyed a fantastic lunch at Longview Vineyard over the weekend with some friends. We absolutely loved our experience and raved about it all the way home. All of the staff were warm, kind and professional - no request was too much for them, and the food was just fantastic! I cannot recommend this beautiful venue enough, whether it be for a function or a weekend lunch - it was truly a lovely Saturday spent with great friends, stunning views, delicious food and wonderful treatment from the staff.
