If you are looking for a hotel with old fashioned service, this is it! The staff go over and above to make you feel like an honoured guest. The location makes it so easy to enjoy the atmosphere of Adelaide city (you can easily walk to so many places!) but also travel out for day trips. The hotel bar, restaurant/cafe and rooftop bar are inviting, with great music, and the locals love it, too, so you can enjoy coming back to a nice vibe after a day out, rather than feeling like you have to go straight up to your room. The room was impeccable. Everything was clean and neat and in good condition, with great design elements and small thoughtful gestures. I may sound like I am raving a bit but our stay here was truly excellent. Do yourself a favour and book in. ^_^

From the moment my husband and I walked into the Indigo, we were welcomed like family, the staff were attentive, happy, thoughtful and went above and beyond to give us a comfortable stay, We took part in the ‘chef experience’ with Chef Gabrielle- he was very lovely, Educational and cooked us an exquisite seafood risotto, all while Dean kept refilling our champagne glasses. Breakfast both mornings were fresh, served fast, looked and tasted amazing and the coffee was superb. Thank you to all the staff at the Indigo Hotel, we’ll be recommending and staying again.

We wouldn't stay here again! The first night we were woken at 10pm with the relaxing sound of cleaners servicing the room next door. I would suggest bringing a pillow as the ones provided are terrible. It's a very flashy hotel but the high rates we payed weren't justified in our eyes. Please research other hotels before deciding to stay here!

Tucked away just off of arguably the best dining strip in Adelaide, Gouger Street. This conveniently located hotel is a short walk to the central markets, Rundle mall, tram stops and even not too far from Adelaide oval. From the moment you walk in the sliding doors you get the sense that this place is a bit unique, not whitewashed and bland like a lot of other cbd hotels. Cafe downstairs was busy and smelled great, staff were friendly and helpful. Rooftop bar was also very cool with a decent view of the city. Rooms are large and comfortable. Parking available but its off site. Short walk of around 400m. Would definitely stay again.

Enjoyed a 3-night stay at Adelaide’s Hotel Indigo and had a wonderful time. Comfortable, clean rooms with a fully equipped bathroom, significant space for clothing and possessions, comfortable beds and all other essentials - great value. All staff assisting with check in/check out, cleaning and meals were lovely and helpful.

This is one of the best cheap and affordable Hotels I have stayed at, worth staying there. Make sure to check out the rooftop bar as well great seafood. If you are a family over 5 I would not recommend this hotel because some of the rooms are quite small.

Stayed here for 5 nights and enjoyed the stay. Well positioned in the Asian district with a huge array of places to dine. The Adelaide Market was busy, vibrant and amazing. Staying here allowed us visit the market daily. Centrally located, we used it as our base to explore nearby areas of SA. Well worth the stay. Had a corner room, better views. Nice rooftop bar.

Absolutely love this hotel. From the moment we arrived, until leaving 4 days later, every staff member contributed to a great vacation. Rooms were actually like the web pics! Great views and amenities with comfy beds. Breakfast was lovely with unlimited barista coffees. Thanks for making our stay awesome.

The hotel is in a great location, not too noisy or busy. The room was spacious and comfortable and the design and colour scheme is very cool. Loved the robe, slippers and bathroom amenities. Continental breakfast wasn't worth including, only for convenience. There is the option to upgrade to hot menu though. Unfortunately, the beautiful pool was too cold for me when I stayed in October. Great view from the pool deck though! Parking not onsite but easy to navigate to and discounted for hotel guests. There was ample short-term free parking out the front to drop off bags and check-in/out. Great place to stay in Adelaide and absolutely loved visiting the markets!

The staff were friendly and so eager to help make my stay great! Love the personal touches, proper hairdryer, nice sheets and a great view too. The rooftop was very cool and close to walk to everything. Loved it. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful few days based at this great location with the markets and loads of restaurants within walking distance. The staff, (every single person we met from reception and kitchen to waitstaff and bar), were so kind and accommodating. The room was lovely, breakfasts were delicious and plentiful, the music in the restaurant didn't drive us bonkers, and we would absolutely stay here again. Thanks team for a fantastic experience. Short review compared to others, but our experience here this weekend (Friday 21st to Sunday 23rd July), has been so enjoyable we've opted to stay another night. Everyone we've encountered has been polite, courteous, and helpful. The staff at the reception desk and in the Market & Meander restaurant are so friendly and respectful. I've never felt so respected in a hotel before. Food was amazing. Ate breakfast here once and dinner twice. Wine selection has a good range and great options. All food is locally sourced from SA, which is important for me. We will be staying here again, and I would 100% recommend it to others.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Indigo. From the moment I stepped through the doors, I knew I was in for an extraordinary experience. Hotel Indigo managed to exceed my expectations in every aspect, from its exceptional service to its stunning design and comfortable accommodations. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by the friendly and attentive staff, who made me feel instantly welcome. They were eager to assist with any questions I had and provided valuable recommendations on local attractions and dining options. Their genuine hospitality truly stood out throughout my entire stay. The design and aesthetics of Hotel Indigo are a true feast for the eyes. The hotel beautifully combines contemporary style with elements that reflect the local culture and heritage. The attention to detail in the interior design is remarkable, creating an ambiance that is both elegant and inviting. Every corner of the hotel tells a story, with vibrant artwork, tasteful furnishings, and unique touches that set it apart from other hotels. My room at Hotel Indigo was a haven of comfort and relaxation. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the linens were of high quality. The room was meticulously clean and well-appointed, with modern amenities that catered to my every need. I particularly appreciated the thoughtful touches such as a well-stocked minibar, a cozy seating area, and a spacious bathroom with luxurious toiletries. The location of Hotel Indigo was ideal for exploring the city. It was conveniently situated near popular attractions and within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and entertainment venues. Whether I wanted to immerse myself in the vibrant city life or simply relax in the comfort of the hotel, everything was easily accessible. Lastly, I cannot commend the staff at Hotel Indigo enough for their exceptional service. From the front desk to the housekeeping and restaurant staff, every team member was dedicated to ensuring my stay was nothing short of perfect. They went above and beyond to accommodate any request I had, always with a smile on their faces. In conclusion, my stay at Hotel Indigo was a truly memorable experience. The hotel's impeccable service, stunning design, comfortable accommodations, and convenient location make it an outstanding choice for anyone visiting Adelaide. I wholeheartedly recommend Hotel Indigo to anyone seeking a remarkable hotel experience that combines style, comfort, and exceptional service. I look forward to returning to this hotel.

My message to all who read this is to take a photo of the mini bar as you leave. You can delete it after a month or so. Protect yourself. We were told this was a nice boutique hotel to go to. Thought we would try it as we were going to the theatre nearby. Modern hotel, with trendy decor, but not as comfortable as I would have thought considering the price of the room. Although we had paid up front, we still had to place an unnecessarily large hold on our credit card. That's okay, we got our money back. A couple of days later we were charged for something from the mini bar. I was surprised as we had fed ourselves too well at a local pizza bar. And nothing from the minbar was appealing. So I phoned and they said they would refund the charge. I feel I'm being petty as the amount is almost just a cost of a coffee. But in my work, theft is theft. No matter how small the amount, I would be sacked for that petty amount.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel Indigo Adelaide over the Easter long weekend, and I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience. From the moment I walked into the lobby, I was impressed by the stylish decor and warm, welcoming atmosphere. The room itself was spacious and impeccably clean, with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. I particularly appreciated the thoughtful touches, such as the complimentary water and snacks, as well as the high-quality toiletries in the bathroom. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I had some of the best nights' sleep I've had in a while. The hotel's location is also fantastic - situated in the heart of the city, it's within walking distance of many of Adelaide's top attractions, restaurants, and shops. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to offer recommendations or assist with any questions I had. Overall, I would highly recommend the Hotel Indigo Adelaide to anyone looking for a comfortable, stylish, and conveniently located place to stay in Adelaide. I can't wait to come back and visit again!

Had a wonderful dinner experience in Indigo last week. The environment was nice and had good vibes. Silas was lovely and friendly, made me feel welcome and taken care of! He recommended a good drink that I found really special too. Thanks Dean for that nice cocktail. Already recommended to my friends for the restaurant menu and service. Will definitely go back again.

Stayed 3 nights at the gorgeous Hotel Indigo with a friend as we planned a wineries visit - we each had our own room. The room itself was fabulous. Modern, beautiful & functional with great rain shower, plentiful and quality amenities and you can cast to the tv to stream your own content. Front desk service was excellent, check in & out was a breeze. Location is excellent and a max 10 minute walk from everywhere. The rooftop bar was a tad chilly - would be great in Summertime though! This hotel reminds me of the QT brand but with a bit more panache!

I'll start by saying that I'm a hotel loyalty/points fanatic and I'm waiting for the day Marriott opens a property in Adelaide. Until then, I've tried a number of hotels in Adelaide and have been quite underwhelmed with everything thus far. I now have a hands down favourite. The rooms are stylish and modern, the service is friendly and helpful, and most importantly the vibe is top notch. I love that the hotel embodies the neighbourhood and all of the special touches with that in mind. Location has been the biggest drawback from considering the hotel until this point as it seemed a bit removed from the "happening" parts of Adelaide, but then again that's the beauty of a city like this... Nothing is too far away. The pool is swanky, the gym is nice and has a view of The Adelaide Markets which are right across the street, and the restaurant/bars are lively. Definitely check it out!

Amazing staff that are always happy and helpful! Double room was very clean and modern. Bathroom is frosted glass walls. Breakfast was great, but children under 13 only have access to the pantry. This can be substituted with a reasonably priced kids menu though. Perfect location. A great place for families. Five stars for a really lovely experience!

My initial check-in experience had a minor hiccup with the air conditioning not working...But it's their attentiveness that left a lasting impression. The hotel manager promptly arranged for a new room, which is a great recovery to the stay experience. One standout feature of this hotel is its breakfast team. The staff here are incredibly friendly, with a strong service mindset. They not only provide top-notch service but also go the extra mile by offering helpful recommendations for places to visit in Adelaide. It's these personal touches that elevate the guest experience. Breakfast is simply delicious. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-maintained, meeting all expectations. One small tip for guests: if you want your towels changed daily, make sure to place them on the floor, as that's the hotel's policy. I have deducted one star from my rating, primarily due to the check-in experience. Jayce, who was at the reception, did not leave a favorable first impression. She appeared rushed during the check-in process and didn't exhibit the level of politeness and respect that one would expect.

Really love hotel Indigo, great location near the markets and heaps of restaurants. Service is exceptional, and rates are good. Rooms are modern and well-appointed. Took one star off for the bathroom layout and design. Pretty exposed and quite small in some rooms.

Located in the very center of China Town Adelaide and a just one step from the Market! The hotel architecture is very peculiar, the concept is to be "at home", as you enter you find a very welcoming bar area just before the actual reception and then the feeling as to be in your place, everything is so cute and researched. The rooms are structured in a very modern way with a touch of an architect I'm sure, and with very fancy solution especially for the wardrobe area and the washroom. Bed is so comfortable and warm as well as the coffee/tea area which offers a good selection of teas and espresso coffee including coffee machine and even drinking chocolate. The fridge is well organized and stuffed with wine beers and soft drinks selection. Just one thing I suggest should be reviewed is that the hotel management decided to charges customers for local calls...I think this shouldn't be done. I'm pretty sure local landline calls within the city are kind of free for them. Anyway, fully suggested at Top Level!

Very fancy hotel with loving and helpful staff and traineess. Love their euthanasia and good energy, easily connected human to human. Doesn't feel like they are staff, more like lovely local friends. Love the modern design in the room and high tech in getting whatever you need during your stay. Very pity that the rooftop bar doesn't open every day so I'll miss it. 😢

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. All the staff are great and lovely and Very helpful. Great food in the restaurant downstairs and the rooftop bar perfect for that evening drink with friends. Will be definitely booking Indigo hotel again.

I stayed here on business recently and thoroughly enjoyed this new vibrant hotel in Adelaide. My room was beautiful and the food and service was outstanding. Special shout out to Heath and the team for your 5 star service, warmth and going above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable. The decor and design is particularly enjoyable as a lover of all things Adelaide. Will be back. Highly recommend.

One of my favourite stays in Adelaide! Newly built in 2021, the rooms are stylish, modern but also warm. The hotel amenities are good with a cool rooftop bar, ground floor bar and restaurant, as well as a moderately sized lap pool. Rooms are very well priced, and the central location is great for people wanting to visit the central markets. Staff were friendly and attentive. Will hopefully stay again soon.

Excellent accommodation. Location is perfect to explore the city, with the Adelaide markets just across the road. Very tidy and modern inside. Bed was so comfortable and big, the view from our room was awesome. Gym was actually quite decent as was the pool. Staff were very friendly. Would highly recommend. Couldn’t fault it

The rooms are elegant. Very nice bathroom. The pool has a beautiful view. But everything on the room service menu said “not available” and the rooftop was closed for the days we are staying :( the pillows were very uncomfortable I have a really sore neck and there’s no microwave in the room? but even very cheap motels have microwaves in the rooms. The staff are nice though. So, overall disappointed because it’s a very expensive hotel.. extremely disappointed about the rooftop being closed and there’s no windows in the rooms so it’s very stuffy. But the aesthetic of the hotel is pleasing

  • 5/5 Simon L. 2 years ago on Google
Impressive from every angle. Friendly front of house team and a really lovely vibe. Rooms are very clean & brilliantly planned for luggage, a small desk and great views over Adelaide. The bathroom is very modern and loved the big shower. Upstairs on the rooftop bar is fun! Great cocktails & relaxed space to catch-up with friends and colleagues. A good central location and rooms are quiet on the 9th floor. This will be my go-to place when I’m in South Australia.

An absolute little gem. This hotel screams character. Interesting and innovative design in the rooms, and very comfortable. The restaurant and bar are brilliant and have a fun atmosphere. Located overlooking the central market and China town, perfect for a great Adelaide experience.

The service was excellent! The staff, especially Gustavo, Catalina and Catalina were so friendly and made my friends and I feel like we were in a home away from home. Thankyou so much!!! The room was trendy with a cool decor, beds were really comfortable. The food was delicious, beautifully cooked and presented. Highly recommend this hotel.

Good location. Nice modern hotel. Rooms were nice and some have good views. Bathroom lighting leaves a lot to be desired. It's so dark. Roof top bar is a bit of an afterthought. Not very comfortable seating and quite expensive. Not impressed that lager was served in an IKEA glass. Could be so much better. Overall very overpriced for this hotel.

Fun little hotel, in the heart of the Central Market/Chinatown district. Staff were calm and kind, and the fit-out is colourful. It made a nice change from the usual sleek and generic appearance of many city hotels. We opted for a suite which was roomy and comfortable, with a separate bedroom, bathroom, and balcony. The room was quiet, minimalist, and comfortable, but the amenities a little light on…[eg: one toothbrush, two coffee pods] Breakfast downstairs in the cafe, was lovely with a good selection of pastries, hot food, and fruit. Would stay again, when we next visit Adelaide.

Hotel Indigo looks excellent and the styling of the room was enjoyable to be around. The food is superb and the rooftop bar is a fun place to visit in the evening. However, there were a few communication issues that made our stay uncomfortable. For instance, our room service trays from dinner were not collected until after lunch the next day, we asked for use of scissors which we were happy to collect at reception which they said would bring up but didn't, we asked for our car to be ready from valet parking 2 hours in advance and it wasn't, we were also accosted by a staff member when returning the vehicle as he didn't realise we were parking in the valet drop-off section because we had valet parking. They did provide a voucher for a drink each, as compensation however, we arrived in the evening too late to use them and they expired the next day.

Recently stayed more than one week at the Indigo, and can only rave about the staff, ambiance, decor, and food. Breakfast offerings are wondering, and the evening meals as well. Fun rooftop bar, and the rooms and facilities are top-notch. A great addition to the Adelaide hotel scene, easy access to Gouger St. and surroundings. Above all, the hard-working staff deserve special mention -- it's a top team who made our group feel at home during an extended stay. Thank you!

We so much enjoyed our stay at Hotel Indigo for the 8 x days we were there. From the moment we checked in until we checked out all staff were absolutely 10/10 and uniquely amazing to deal with. You have truly developed a fantastic staff culture as it’s highly unusual to find 10/10 staff in every aspect of the hotel stay. Check in staff, restaurant staff, room service, house cleaning staff were all so helpful, happy, smiling and friendly. The location of the hotel is perfect and the decor was very modern and chic. Food was amazing too considering we tried almost everything on the menu during our 8 x day stay. We would highly recommend Hotel Indigo as one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at anywhere in the world- we’ve stayed at a lot over the years but Indigo is at the top. Thanks again to all the staff 10/10

I travel a lot for work and I’ve got to say that my experience at hotel indigo is incredible compared to my other stays. Not only is the hotel stunning and all the amenities are all modern but I have to say the best part by far is the customer service. All of the team go above and beyond and really value you as a customer. I had a made a special request to the manager last week and the hotel delivered and exceed beyond my expectations. I will continue to make this my go to stay in Adelaide for work and personal trips and highly recommend to anyone who values an amazing customer experience, a modern boutique hotel and great food.

Spent a family weekend away at Hotel Indigo and it was nothing short of an excellent experience. Conveniently located near the markets and Chinatown offering many great places to eat nearby during your stay. The room was excellent, everything in new, well kept and clean condition. Chrome cast available on the TV making streaming quick and easy. Staff were excellent and they went above and beyond throughout our stay to keep my kids happy which was greatly appreciated. I’d highly recommend and definitely will be where I’ll be staying for my next visit to Adelaide.

I stayed for one night with a voucher from SA Tourism. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean and had a panoramic view of the city. The staff were welcoming and went out of their way to make the stay enjoyable. I thoroughly enjoyed the meals and am looking forward to my next visit.

Surprisingly great hotel. Rooms were very nicely laid out with great decor... definitely better than high end chain hotels' decor. On top of this, was an excellent location right next to central markets. We had the best food around this area.

Top notch from Go to Whoa! I booked 2 King Premium Rooms with balcony for hubby and me and our 2 daughters for Christmas Eve. Rooms were lovely. We had cocktails at MerryMaker rooftop cocktail bar and ordered chips, eggplant sliders and cevichè. Staff were excellent. Went for a swim in the pool. So relaxing. Had lovely breakfast at Meander and Market Christmas morning and it was all delicious. Will be back.

This was one of the best hotel stays we've had in both Adelaide and overseas! The decor was lovely, the roof top bar and the ground level bar were great. I'd say my 2 favourite aspects were the food and the staff. Love your work Hotel Indigo!!!

Stayed 6 nights recently. Nice modern design concept, friendly staff. The pool is a nice space to chill (not big enough for decent swimming but just to sit in is fine). Breakfast space is in the lobby which is a bit uncomfortable but the brekkie itself is nicely presented and tasty. Rooftop bar is ok, service there could do with a bump up but it’s a nice space to hang. We had a balcony room and loved the space we had. Comfy bed, different types of pillows available to order on the app and overall just a really nice in-room experience. Location is perfect close to Chinatown and the markets and other nightlife (Adelaide ain’t that big :) ) . I’d stay again.
