I would give 6 stars if I could. ⭐ It's my first time to try the coffee here, and I was intrigued and impressed by the flavours. These guys roast their own coffee in house and the smells are fantastic! 😆 I took some photos indoors, and found they have a great selection of Colombian foods, snacks and merch. I ordered my usual carrot cake and Iced soy Mocha. 😉 Jumping in with the carrot cake. It didn't look overly impressive, but it held a lot of flavours. If I closed my eyes it tasted like a Christmas pudding. Rich and spiced. Good for the price, and a little different for a carrot cake as it didn't have any iconic cream cheese icing. 4.5/5 The iced soy Mocha was unique with a very fruity roast. Great aroma! The size was huge. 😍 Great value! One of my top three Iced Soy Mochas in Adelaide! 4.8/5 I chatted with Carolina about their coffee roasting, and she was so passionate about it all. She went and made a tasting of their monthly coffee roast. It was AMAZING. I have never tried a coffee like this, flavours dancing around, from fruity to slightly alcoholic tones. Outstanding! My client and I were blown away with the whole experience. We have been talking about it all day. :') Look forward to visiting again!

They have a great quiet location for a coffee stop. The coffee was an amazing smooth flavour. The takeaway long black I had was drinkable straight away, they obviously take care and alter their temperatures for different brew varieties which is great to see rather than nuking the coffee at higher temps. The blueberry muffin I had was good, there is a cabinet of baked goods to choose from. I have not tried anything from the menu but will update my review once I have done so. Beans are also available for purchase. Selling some coffee gizmos might be a nice addition to the shop. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Thanks again Andy.

Stopped in on my way back from today's workout. Had juice, the Columbian breakfast, with chorizo, and scrambled eggs. Followed up the Columbian Honey Roast cappuccino (highly recommended for flavour) , plus a couple of biscuits. It is great to see: In house roasting of coffee Another cultural identity to broaden Adelaide's multicultural community. Flavours and tastes that please and surprise the pallet. Cafetal also offer a range of beer and wine, and are open Fridays

Recently went to Cafetal Coffee Co and was absolutely blown away by the coffee here . They roast their own beans with a roasting machine that is sitting in the middle of the shop , and there is a selection to chose from on the shelves. They also are direct and Fair Trade with the coffee coming direct from Columbia . Had an almond latte with the Castillo fermented beans - very sweet first impressions with chocolate undertones . I also enjoyed a Latin arepa - which is a gluten free cornbread tortilla with chorizo that isn’t too spicy , which goes well with the coffee . When we mentioned to one of the staff that we enjoy tasting different coffees , she bought out a piccolo ( a small sized latte ) for us to try of the Castillo Natural - which was seriously one of the best coffees that I’ve ever tasted . It was very aromatic and had a sweet fruity smell ( that was the caramelised passionfruit ) and it’s notes were very complex - almost like fortified wine with its undertones of citrus . You can take your coffee home in bean form or they will gladly grind your beans for you if you don’t have a grinder . If I could bottle the smell of this coffee and use it for a room spray I would . If people are interested , they also have a small shop where they sell some South American food . A very bright , airy space which was friendly and welcoming .

A lovely, quiet corner of the world with great service and good coffee. I ordered a strong latte and it was delicate and smooth; perhaps needed to be slightly hotter. Overall, a winner.

Quality coffee and great tasting light food on the outskirts of the city Coffee can be really straightforward, but I love it when places get excited in the nuances - this place is definitely one of them The single origin beans are absolutely delicious - with or without milk, it's some of the best I've had. The food is also delicious, albeit a bit on the simple side (nothing with that though) If you're after a quick bite and some of the best coffee I've had, this place is a must

Best coffee in town. Roast in da house, single origin beans selection and care and expert baristas make Cafetal a one of a kinda coffee shop on Adelaide. Importing directly from Colombian farms there isnt any cafe in the city that matches this coffee experience

This is an incredible little cafe, with a cute deli/store attached. The food was incredible with many homemade Colombian/fusion light meals on offer. Their empanadas and arepas were magnificent, and the coffee was perfect. Definitely worth visiting!

I love everything about this place. I’m sitting in here right now eating my Aussie Arepa (the most delicious invention in the world) and sipping on a creamy and caramely smooth oat flat white, which is BY FAR the absolute best coffee in town. Latina music dances in my ears and I feel alive and happy here (perhaps that’s the caffeine starting to hit my bloodstream?) in any case, I’m trying to figure out how this place doesn’t have a line out the door - and I can only assume it’s because the average Aussie has no idea just how superior an arepa is over a ham and cheese croissant- although they have those here too so I’m a bit stumped. In any case, do yourself a favour and get down here asap.

Visited Adelaide for a week, and as a coffee snob, I made it my task to try all the highly rated coffee roasters in and around Adelaide. Cafetal came out on top in my books and was the pick of the several coffee roasters I tried. The flavour in the cup topped all the other roasters I tried.

Went for breakfast today. Great food and great coffee. My food was the Pump-king toastie - absolutely delicious. Pumpkin, Avocado & Haloumi inside toasted Turkish bread - yum. Plus, my coffee was just right (and I have half strength - great colour, great taste). I'd highly recommend it.

Coffee is delicious and roasted on-site with a pretty good variety of their own beans to buy. The empanada and alfajores on first bite/s remind me of being in South America – have not been adjusted for an Australian palette and are traditional Columbian style. Very happy and friendly staff. Love it.

Had our team lunch in Cafetal today. The staff, empanadas and coffee were amazing! Don't leave the place without trying their roasted in-house Gesha Coffee. Check out their Mercado (shop), they offer a variety of South American food & gift items.
