Amazing Baroque church marking the high point in Modica Alta - the historic old town (Centro Storico).

The church itself is not the most amazing inside, especially compared to the churches you see around sicily and in general in italy. However the location the staircase the whole context make this place extremely special. If you sleep in the jewsih neighborhood you wake up in the morning with this gorgeous building lightened by the morning warm sun Ray's. Stunning

Here looks like the center of the town. Local elder people sit around in the small square in front of the church, chatting for the morning. Very local life view.

Closed so unable to view but love Modica. Beautiful town amazing old buildings friendly people and good chocolate and wine

Amazing place. Very picturesque with all the trees on the side and steps in the middle. In Modica Alta, away from noise and crowds. Very tranquil area.
