Had a stop on the way to Kotagiri, nice place to refresh your body and mind. We took Mannarkad- Attappadi- Aanaikatti via Kotagiri, it’s really nice and you will enjoy the drive as it’s totally calm and beautiful than the Coimbatore- Mettupalayam via Kotagiri route.

This view point is one of the scenic beauty of Attappadi. It's a refreshing spot on Mannarkkad-anakkatti road. The enchanting beauty of nature demonstrated there. Lot of trees, mountains, beautiful sky and the huge hairpin turns are the main attraction of Attappadi View point. Turnings of huge vehicles through the hairpin curves is a tremendous and prodigious scene. There is no shops there on the view point so if we need anything to eat, we have to carry it from the beginning of the ghat road, Otherwise there are some shops are on some places on the ghat road we may have purchase from there. Lot of monkeys are there, don't try to moke them. If done they overturn against us, also note that they can harm children, wallop small vehicles and make damages. We have seen & experienced it, so be careful and look after children. The visiters please don't throw any wastes or plastics there. Save nature, ecosystem and our environment.

Stunning !!! Was traveling from Ooty to Kollam, the view was mesmerizing. Lush hills, wildlife, hills and the view. You can have it all along these roads. Late night travels arent encouraged was lucky to traverse before the dark hours. You can feel the spookiness once the light starts to fade.

Keep in mind that the quality of the view varies with the seasons. I visited during summer and unfortunately missed out on the famous mist-covered scenery. For the best experience, I'd recommend planning a trip during the monsoon or winter months. Located in the mountain valley of Mannarkad, this viewpoint along the Attapadi Ghat Road offers a stunning glimpse of nature's beauty. The proximity to the Silent Valley National Park adds to its allure. One thing to note is the presence of a few monkeys around the area. It's advised not to feed them, as they could become aggressive.

Vibrant view of nature. Can have a great view from watch tower. Lil bit effort still don't miss the fantastic view of Kunti river, which flows through a valley. While roaming around be cautious of Leaches. Just take some precautions and dont panic. If kids there make them aware that it's harmless and it's just doing good by its bite.

Great view, Monkeys, cool breeze but the best view of them all is the KSRTC steering the hairpin. Best to visit during early monsoon.

Just a hair pin bend between Mannarkad and Anaikatti road. You can see entire view of western ghats behind view point . There is no separate place . Heavy Wheeler can't stop here for 2mins to spend here.

Nothing much to watch. A view of the green areas from a hairpin at the top. We can't spend much time there as it is not much pleasing and also it's a hairpin

Direct bus service of ksrtc through that way.. No parking space and all. Just park on side and take an ice cream, inhale some fresh breeze

A viewpoint to take a break for the ride on the way to attappadi. The scenery is not very impressive, we can see just the forest. Only Ice cream is available to buy from there. Can see a lot of monkeys there. Parking space is limited. It's very hard for buses to pass through the view point.

One of the beautiful landmarks on the way to Attappadi. You can enjoy hairpins, mountains, valleys and the wildness of nature. It is not recommended to attract tourists and vehicles are not allowed to park on hairpin roads. You can enjoy some time here to refresh on the way to Attapadi. It is difficult to reach here during the monsoon season due to landslides.Early morning is the perfect time to enjoy the cool fresh air and lush greenery.....

A good view point Attapadi in Mannarkkad-Anaikatti route. You can spend 15 minutes to take break and enjoy valley view from here. The beauty of the view depends on the climate condition and time. Limited parking space, just for 5-6 cars. Close your vehicle properly before come out, otherwise monkeys may trouble you. It's just a view point, no shops here.

Nature at its best!!! Best to visit in the mornings or during the rainy season. Fog and mist covered path under the silhouette of trees with cool breeze. The only sounds you can hear are that of animals and birds with the occasional honking of vehicles. A wonderful place to come to fly above the busy city life: for a breath of fresh rustic air. A must visit place!!

Not a great view, But this is the only panoramic view and hairpin on the way to Coimbatore (Via Agaly-Aanakatti). Ideal to spend less than 5 minutes. No any tea spot here.
