Absolutely delicious food. Everyone we went with, loved the mains. We had seabass, hanging kebabs, steaks, vegan burgers and lamb mint pie.

Lovely atmosphere. Beautiful surroundings. Halloumi burger wasn’t the best I’d had, but was still nice. Chicken and chorizo kebab could have done with a little bit more chicken. Lovely cocktails and excellent service.

My friends took me here because I wanted to have Scotch eggs. We ordered a bunch of starters and main courses to share and I think that's the best way to try their food. Friendly staff and cute decor, seating is comfortable, I recommend the Botanist Bar.

Nice place with friendly staff. They have a good selection to cater for all dietary needs such as vegetarians and vegans. I ordered hanging meatball (vegan) kebab which was delicious. The only thing I'd say is I was still left hungry and paid a lot for my food. Overall I would recommend this place and will be back.

Came here for the first time today for a friend's birthday. The staff were great and the food was incredible. They had live music at the front which was played through the speakers in the restaurant. It was perfect for a Sunday afternoon

Nice atmosphere, good service, but food isn’t good, chicken burger was dry, kebabs was dry mussels are tiny, not recommend the food.

Very loud music meant I had to almost shout at my dinner companion as did the other dinners. We were seated by the kitchen, and every time an unseen outside door in the kitchen got opened, we were treated to a blast of cold air coming from the kitchen door. My friends chips were brought to the table Luke warm, although instantly replaced by another waitress ( ours was very hard to find) food was okay, and the portions were good, but it was very overpriced for what it was. It’s either a bar or a restaurant, being both on a Saturday night, really doesn’t work in my opinion.

Sunday lunch was lovely. Live singer made for a relaxed atmosphere. Service was good although they made a mistake with one of our desserts. However, they were very apologetic, changed it immediately and removed the charge for it off our bill. Can't complain. Would recommend.

A warm friendly welcome on arrival and a varied menu even on a Sunday. I enjoyed my teriyaki chicken skewer starter (and so did others in our group who tasted it!). Everyone enjoyed their mains - Sunday roasts, chicken and beef, a couple off the lamb kofta skewers and a chicken skewer. The chicken skewer would benefit from more sauce to drizzle over, and once suggestion that I hope will be adopted: we all felt it would be a big plus if all main course are served on hot plates. Because the plates are cold, the food cooks down quickly. Those of us with toast dinners asked for extra jugs of hot gravy which helped, but well here’s plates would definitely assist in keeping the food hot. Service was friendly and helpful throughout and made for a welcoming atmosphere. Over all, a very enjoyable visit - Thank you!

Update (Aug 2023). Dropped in for a Sunday lunch, DOG FRIENDLY, which is great as there are few such venues on Central Avenue. Lovely service from the staff, and the food was very good indeed, definitely a notch up from standard pub grub. Needs a bit of fresh paint and a good scrub up, but has a food hygiene rating of 5, and so I think it's just the well used bar area that needs some TLC. Some good live music on too. Well worth dropping in for lunch or dinner. (Old review below) Busy and fun bar, but whoa! It's pricey..

Visited for Sunday lunch and the staff were amazing! I have quite a few allergies and eating out is usually a stressful time but the waiter immediately reassured me the head chef would come out and speak to me personally about whether I could have the Sunday roast. Believe the chef was Don/Dom but he was amazing, reassured me and informed me of all components of the roast, popped back out to double check about a purée they use on the base of the plate to double check I could have all ingredients, created the veg fresh for me from some other veg they had in the kitchen as I couldn’t have the standard veg and also popped out at the end to reassure that any time I visit they will be able to cater for me. Can’t tell you how safe I felt here and will 100% be returning, the lamb shoulder was incredible, fell apart when I touched it with my fork, was truly melt in the mouth and those roast potatoes are to die for! The whole table had a fab meal and we were all so impressed with the staff - thanks for looking after us so well 💕

Visited with 2 small children on a Saturday lunch time, staff were very welcoming and accommodating. Food was delicious, we were undecided on a side the waiter made a great recommendation - the salt and pepper onion petals are a must! Service, food and atmosphere were all perfect, service charge is added to the bill which I’m normally a little annoyed about as I like to choose if I want to tip but I was happy to pay it.

The food is great, came here for Sunday dinner today for the 3rd time. Rude waitress, she could’ve taken some pointers from her co worked with the centipede tattoo. The only thing I cannot stand about this place is they always have absolutely tone deaf singers that completely ruin the experience. Todays was so bad we didn’t bother with pudding or another drink.

The place is nicely decorated. The staff was kind and helpful. There was an event, and the place was very noisy. The food is overpriced, eye-catching, and nicely cooked but nothing worth the price. I will go again, but definitely not for food.

Enjoyed a great meal to celebrate our grand daughter's graduation. Food excellent (particularly the cookie dough desserts), service good & nice rustic setting. Would definitely recommend.

We were taken to the place by family. The vibe is nice. Drinks are decent. The night we went the service was horrible, we waited almost an hour for dinner and we ended up asking for our bill before the food arrived. Manage comped us for the drinks and few apps we did receive and apologized at length. We really wanted to love this place. We will give this another try when we come back to visit family.

I used to come here because they had great and tasty vegan options, but I don’t know what happened this last time the food was totally bland! I’ve never had a hummus that tasted like nothing, really, I don’t know what they use on their hummus, but it’s completely tasteless. Same with the cous cous, no seasoning at all (tasted like a ready meal pouch), there was also a broccoli salad, so bland.. no creativity on the dishes, it’s a shame. The cauliflower bang bang was good and the fried gnocchi was ok.

I was looking forward to this place and had high expectations as it has been highly recommended, unfortunately my experience was not 5 stars. Interior is great, even toilets are clean and great design. We ordered hanging kebab and it was soso in taste, looked like it was missing pieces and really didn't look like on other photos I have seen before, starter was better than the main but starter was a bit heavy with a lot of potato. Latte was good however dessert combination was a bit too sour (lemon tart and raspberry sorbet), lemon tart looked and tasted more like a cheesecake... It was early and there were no other customers but service was poor, I had to find someone to order our dessert as we waited for a while and no one checked on us. It is an expensive place so I did expect better food and service.

I tried out the Brunch Menu with a friend and it was such a lovely experience. The restaurant looks beautiful and the food was really well presented. It was such a fun experience for each of us to pick 5 brunch dishes from the menu and have it served to us beautifully on a platter. Also Emily, our allocated server, was an absolute gem and was very attentive. Only thing I could say to improve on is the cleanliness of the toilets but other than that, would definitely recommend this place!

Wouldn't recommend it for large groups, on two separate occasions, the group has main courses missing and has to wait 20 mins for it to arrive while everyone's food is getting cold. Food was average, service was OK.

It was our first time in this beautiful place . It is a combination between traditional and modern design .Our service was amazing and the food was delicious in a warm and calm atmosphere. It has an accessible entrance for wheelchair users and parents with prams for the babies ! Nice and clean place recommended ! Definately we will come back in the future! Thank you 💝
