Not been for a while. Used to be a bit of an adventure to get in here but that's all changed. Still do great cocktails and glad they finally upgraded the toilets.

Not a boilermaker anymore which was a bit disappointing. Didn’t enjoy my cocktail but my partner did. Putting water on each table was a good idea though.

Actually amazing - such a funny experience going through a boiler shop to a bar!! Beautiful place and good music! Can't wait to go back 🥂

This contemporary chic speakeasy is remarkable, hidden behind the unexpected fascia of a boiler repair shop. The table service was an unexpected element and the cocktail menu doesn't take itself too seriously with bundles of humour thrown through the drink titles and descriptions. The drinks are ingenious, creative and full of amazing flavours. Big up for vegan catering and allergen information in your menus too. It was out first visit and we will definitely be back.

Brilliant entrance. The drinks here are packed with alcohol and taste beautiful. The drink in the picture is rhubarb Paul's Drag Race. The foam tastes delicious! A must try

I have been intending to go here for about two years and after hearing about it then it exceeded all expectations! From the moment you walk in it feels like a special place, the secret entrance concept is awesome fun, although probably not if your stuck outside on a Saturday night! The drinks here are absolutely fantastic, so creative and really well done. The place is low lit and makes it seem very cosy and personal. Staff were great, very helpful when choosing drinks. Well worth a visit and I will deffinately go again.

We can't recommended this place enough for excellent quality cocktails, with fun and quirky gimmicks. It's a pun-lover's dream! Friendly service, and all-table seating. Perfect way to celebrate the end of Lockdown. 👍

The idea is great! But the atmosphere next to the bar is a little grim and drinks are so so, also weird decorations/serving on drinks. (see photos)

Loved it here. The whole concept is super cool and fun and the staff were awesome. She took real time to sit and chat with us about special whiskeys that they stock. Cocktails were great, really enjoyed it here, highly recommend!

When you first go in your not sure what to expect but when your inside, the atmosphere and staff are great! Will definitely be returning when I'm next in Nottingham

A little pricey, but a brilliant experience, with some unusual cocktails

This place isn't what it used to be. The cocktails aren't special like they once were. They've lost their USP which was the shop front and the mystery behind it. It seems bizarre that they've had a refurb but haven't revised the name. The name does not reflect The Boilermaker anymore. I can't imagine this bar is going to last much longer, there's far too much competition in Nottingham City for this place to have any chance of surviving that.

Great experience, friendly staff and the skylights give it a very nice feel inside. Cocktails were great and I got a kick out of reading the weird descriptions in the menu. My one, very small, gripe is that it's not entirely clear that the place is open (we walked right past it at first) because it looks like a closed cafe from the outside unless you look a little closer. I suppose a "bar at the back" sign is a little gauche but it would be helpful.

Staff were tentative and generally really nice but the cocktails let it down. There wasn't really anything special about them and felt a bit watered down to be honest. I loved it before the refurb a couple of years ago but probably won't be coming back now.

I loved this place. I only popped in for an hour prior to going elsewhere for a work do, and I wished I could have stayed here all evening! Lovely place, interesting bar.

👍👍 Absolutely amazing! I went to have lunch on my graduation day with my friends. Food was very flavourful and cocktails were nice. Special dietary options are available and you always get 2-4-1 cocktails. Service was really friendly and approachable. Ambience and music is just cherry on top.
