Had a great meal with nice calm atmosphere ideal place to go and have a nice night. The barman was absolutely perfect, so polite and pleasant, thankyou Jessie. The rest of the staff were amazing too. Chef did a good job!

The place itself is a very nice pub however some of the staff can be quite rude they seem to forget to say please and thank you only the other day this black girl served me as i put my hand for my change she put my chage on the bar and gave me a dirty look i also have noticed the staff seem to hang out at one particular part of the bar and never move for you to be served and thay always on their phones even when serving you to me that is rude.

I regularly visit The Loxley midweek and at the weekend, it never disappoints. A homely environment to enjoy a lovely cold pint. Situated directly by the tram stop and opposite the luxurious thurland hall there isn’t a better retreat in central nottingham. With a plethora of gaming facilities (darts, snooker, slot machines) you won’t be left wanting for a good time. The range of TVs make it a great place to watch the football. A particular favourite feature of mine is the Nottingham Forest grafiti behind the darts boards, YOU REDS! Best pub ever!!!

Went in for a bite to eat while out shopping the service was poor it took a while for anyone to serve me even though there was only 1 other person at the bar the food was ok apart from the pitiful portion of chips I was served with my burger when I asked about it was told that was a portion (you get more from mcdonalds) The burger was nice I won't be going back anytime soon

The food was quick and was okay for basic pub food. Our table had a mix of burgers, curries and starters and everyone seemed to enjoy their meal. Only one toilet in operation meant there was permanently a queue of people waiting to use the facility.

Really friendly staff, good range of food and drinks at good prices. Great Central location, pool table, plenty of seating including outside, loads of TVs for sports etc and an online regional quiz. Wheelchair accessible from Thurland Street entrance with accessible toilet

Such a nice place to have a bite to eat. Was nice and clean, lots of space and the staff were friendly. The food was piping hot and absolutely delicious, we didn't have to wait too long for it to arrive and was very good value for money. I would definitely go back again!

Professional service. Perfectly cold lager is served here. Comfortable seating in the corner with wall covered by clocks. Interesting place. Good location. Close to Old Market Square.

Great place for some pub lunch. Slightly on the expensive side but you get a good plate full. We ordered the steak as a medium and unfortunately they arrived well done.

Food was fine, nothing really wrong with it but there's nothing to rave about. Also didn't have a fair few things available from their menu so was overall just a bit underwhelming really. Nothing terrible, and definitely don't think others should avoid, just not really an experience that leads me to want to go back

Staff made me feel really welcome after a long train journey. 5m walk from station near tram and bus links. Dog friendly inside and out. Water bowl and treats extra touch. Great to relax and plenty of space. Booths and tables. Great to get away from the hussle of the busy treets. will definitely come again!

Standard Breakfast was ordered x3 Food was like it was left under the hot plate for hours, rock hard sauages. Warm bread as toast, cardboard bacon. Manager or supervisor on wad very rude... talking down to staff member who was fairly young, no problems with her. But the man (manger/supervisor behind the bar was very rude and very unprofessional. I can definitely say I won't be back any time soon.

Partner and I went to The Loxley as it was quiet and the deal on menu at that time was Perfect. Tuesday Burger deal, perfect day and perfect deal. For Starter we chose Sharer Doritos and main 2x Quad Beef Burgers and oh boy! Starter was lovely and on spice side which was perfect then Mains. Meat was tender and hot, everything well presented and fresh. We were told to let them know when we finish our Starter and when we are ready for mains which for us was perfect. Didn't have to rush and could give time to digest the starter before we moved onto mains. Staff was very friendly amd helpful. Overal the place is not the poshest as it is Pub with sports, pool etc... typical hanging out place with good food. At that time it was quiet so was lovely but I guess if you come in peak time it might be busy and loud. Overal for us 5 stars. Nothing to complain. Keep up the good service!

The food is beautiful and a good selection too. Service is wonderful as I had ordered something a likkle to spicy for us so they immediately changed that over for us no quibble. Good service from staff and the atmosphere is still very good even with the footy on. Cheers guys

Just in Nottingham for the day visiting some old acquaintances and one of them highly recommended visiting 'The Loxley'. I must say that it truly lived up to all expectations, delivering on every front (unlike the conservative government). If held at gunpoint and forced to give a downside, I would have to say that none of the plethora of fruit machines had 'The Chase'. I had to settle for 'Deal or No Deal' instead.

I would just love to say how impressed I am with this establishment! Fantastic welcome and service. I personally visited from Brighton so not a local! I have visited twice now to watch watch my team play football! Wow they didn’t bat an eyelid to support my needs Tiffany especially needs a big shout out for making sure I was comfortable to watch the game and what a lovely experience I had. Very good value, can’t recommend it enough.

Went to watch a football match. Every table was booked but the staff were very helpful and happy to find us a space to eat and watch the football in a safe environment. I took my daughter along and she felt safe and was made very welcome by the staff and regular customers. Food here was good value and good quality.. highly recommend this venue due to the hard work the management and staff put in.

Food good and the real ale I had was fine. Would have given the place 4🌟 but very friendly and genuine staff member Liv gave it that extra push to 5🌟.

First time visiting The Loxley for food and it was perfect. Tiff was very friendly and professional and working extremely hard. Kev in the kitchen was super helpful with our allergen request and we felt reassured that the food would meet our requirements and it absolutely did! Cannot recommend them enough, we will definitely be back!

Great place to watch sport. Food reasonably priced but burgers very disappointing. A double cheese burger was less impressive than a Big Mac. Limited choices of beers other than Lager. Our choice of beer with the burger deal was carling, Stella or San miguel if I recall. Could be great but just needs to up its game.

More TVs than Currys! Great place to watch sports from, busy but well run. Never had to queue for long and always service with a smile.

Food very average. Two lads working behind the bar and serving food (look like brothers) were unfriendly and very rude. Observing while eating our food realised that tables were not being wiped down. Won't be returning.

A great experience for me. I felt that they really were incredible with diagnosing my eye problems. They really involve you with the process so that it's actually a great eye opener to the technology... pun intended. Also the range of glasses they have are really high end names and stylish. Go for it.

Whilst the food was lovely and have no issue with the standard of our wraps, the portion sizes were that of a toddler. I had to pay an extra Β£1 for us to have waffle fries... safe to say I was still hungry at the end of it! I hadnt eaten any of my waffle fries at the time of this photo

The place is lively and fun. Can watch matches on game nights as plenty of seating and TVs. A decent drinks selection and pub food options. Never had a bad time here

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Absolutely amazing! I went to have lunch on my graduation day with my friends. Food was very flavourful and cocktails were nice. Special dietary options are available and you always get 2-4-1 cocktails. Service was really friendly and approachable. Ambience and music is just cherry on top.
