Best pub garden on the south side of the Embankment. Bar service has resumed with plexiglass protectors. Staff were pleasant and efficient. A good range of lagers, ciders and beers and I was extremely pleased with the Sunday Lunch. I had the beef and my friend had Pork. Both were above expectation. Toilets were very clean.

With the sun finally appearing, I was searching for a place for a sit down full english with outdoor seating to enjoy the sun. I was initially going to go to a chain restaurant nearby, but decided to use this pub as the brunch menu sounded great. The service was exceptional with staff bringing my drinks and food to the table really quickly, checking on me half way through and taking my plate swiftly afterwards. The breakfast was delicious, well presented, hot and with all the condiments I could wish for. Overall, I really enjoyed a great full english in the sun with some peace and quiet in a nice beer garden. Well done to the Ferry Inn team, I'll be back again soon! πŸ™Œ

Recently moved to the area so visited for Sunday lunch. Really nice environment and super lovely staff. The venison special had sold out but the confit duck was a tasty back up. Looking forward to returning for a cracking roast.

Great Burns night supper experience! Food was great and the beer was good. Been there for several wonderful Sunday lunches too. The selection is great, the meats exactly how you would want them and the vegetables were a cut above. Deserts are always super tasty too.

As part of a Chef&Brewer chain you can guarantee what the menu will be. Honest food at decent prices. What makes any establishment rise or fall are the staff. Safe to say the service at the Ferry Inn is top notch. The staff are very attentive, work with a smile and always give a warm welcome.

Came in on the 19th of January, with my son. It was such a wonderful place. Atmosphere was calming. Served by Aaron, who is an always respectful, polite and has great service. Quick on his feet. Had meals and drinks to us quickly. Ferry was welcoming, as always. Always love coming in. Will be returning.

Had a beautiful Sunday roast last Sunday evening. Atmosphere was relaxing and the staff were very helpful and attentive. It was good to see Covid measures were still important to them, we felt very safe and had a wonderful evening. We will certainly visit again. Thanks!

We came here as a group of friends and had a great Sunday roast at the ferry inn yesterday. The service by Charlotte was polite and attentive, we felt like we were the most important people in the building with how well we were looked after. Thanks also to our chef Brandon, everything was cooked to perfection, everything was so flavourful! We will certainly make this our go-to place for roasts from now on.

Came for a family meal, absolutely lovely historical pub/restaurant! Our server Jane went above and beyond, truly fantastic service to say they were short staffed, an amazing example of someone who is on top of their job and focus on customer service, a real credit to the team at the Ferry Inn! Thank you very much for a lovely visit, we'll be sure to come back :)

A nice looking pub with a good garden and friendly staff. The menu was quite varied and had options for everyone. The starters were not great (calamari was over cooked and soup was okay) but the pies were a hit.

Brilliant family friendly pub. Visited with my grandparents and they were treated with great care and attention. Smaller portions were offered and gratefully accepted. Portions are very generous and good selection of food options for all dietary requirements. Puds are a must.

We had a delicious Sunday roast, the vegan wellington was super tasty. Service was spot on. Next time we'll ask for a table further away from the door as it was very chilly when people were coming in and out!

Cosy pub. Beer garden is lovely in summer. Dog friendly!! Food was nicely presented and tasted nice. Drinks are OK. Service was good, the staff are friendly. Can't complain.

We had very good service from Katie, who sorted out a future booking for us. The pub is mainly for diners and is very comfortable. Good place to take visitors to Nottingham due to it's traditional charm and mainly english menu. Range of options and good value help, the blade of beef was voted best choice by my table . Plenty of carparking and a tram stop nearby also worth noting.

Went for breakfast and thought we would take a gamble. Absolutely perfect. Poached egg on point, quality sausages and bacon and a home made hash brown to top it off. The service was great. Please don’t change anything. See you next weekend!

The Ferry Inn proved to be an exceptional choice for our birthday celebration. Our experience was elevated by the impeccable service provided by Charlotte, whose genuine kindness and constant warmth made our evening truly memorable. Her polite and smiling demeanor added a unique charm to our dining experience, allowing us to appreciate the essence of the Ferry Inn even more. The culinary offerings did not disappoint; the food was delicious, and the diverse selection of wines catered to our preferences. The establishment's well-designed outdoor space, especially enjoyable during sunny days, further complemented our celebratory mood. A delightful blend of excellent service, delectable dishes, and an inviting ambiance made our visit an absolute delight.

We had a family lunch here, and have visited many times. Service was good, & food fine. Would have preferred my fish & chips closer to piping hot, than acceptably warm - as it was at the table, but not a big issue.

Had a lovely meal with family, everyone really enjoyed their meal and the bakewell tart pudding was delicious. Only slight issue we had was the lack of sausages for our toddler- was the only thing she really wanted, but she's a bit of a diva! Overall, would eat there again for sure 😊

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Absolutely amazing! I went to have lunch on my graduation day with my friends. Food was very flavourful and cocktails were nice. Special dietary options are available and you always get 2-4-1 cocktails. Service was really friendly and approachable. Ambience and music is just cherry on top.
