Never ever again. If you want salt, just go other place.. We want 3 times or more salt. But they told that they do not have. I have never had these situation at any weatherspoon member... We had to eat without salt......

Absolutely disgusting customer service and evidently racist. We had arrived to find no tables available except a table that was covered in plates and rubbish. We ask a worker, who happened to be a manger, if she could clean it for us to which she replied ‘someone will come when they want to clean it’ to which we said ok and waited until another waiter came. This took a while as it was round the corner from the bar where workers don’t go often. We were then waiting at the bar for a very long time whilst the same manger woman dawdles around, chatting to her friends behind the bar knowing full well that we were waiting. Then when a couple of young white girls come to the counter she immediately signs into the till and serves them. We complain to her stating how we were waiting first so it was our turn. She immediately goes ‘well no, I’m serving these now’ with an attitude worth firing her over. Will be sticking to The Gooseberry - a much better, more welcoming, more inclusive and definitely less racist spoons.

Strong selection of beers, including g world beers at fair prices. Great breakfast and a more than usually large pub menu. Would be difficult not to find something you want to eat. Will be back with wifey cuz they have her favorite, Leffe Blond, on tap.

Enjoyed a pizza here during the Euro footie. Plenty of seats due to customers seeking venues showing the England game. Security staff on door seemed to be professional.

Ordered food and drinks with friends, one of us accidentally ordered to the wrong table, but this was quickly rectified at the bar. Then had the manager (the one with a ponytail) storm up to us, snatch the drink off our table because we'd previously ordered to the wrong table and told us we'd all be getting our refund but he wasn't serving us. Everyone was lovely, but he needs talking to, stinking attitude almost as bad as his b.o

Arrived today a family of 5. Ordered meals at around 12 noon, after waiting 30 minutes I got my husband to check how long our meals would be as our children were getting upset. They said another 10 minutes. 15 minutes later I again asked my husband to see where our good was. He was told it was cooked but sat in the kitchen. No-one brought it out and weren't available to for another 10 minutes. We requested a refund for our meals after waiting an hour. Would not recommend at all!!!

If only it were possible to give you ten stars! Where they might not know it, this place is fit for royalty. You will find only the finest ales and food here. My favourite fine beverage to drink here is a Carlsberg, which the bartender always pours to perfection. On top of all this is the faultless customer service.

Place was clean, toilets tidy. Drinks were poor. House red had started to ferment again, glasses slightly greasy and the coke was flat. Staff could not taste or underside the difference. Other places in the Wetherspoons chain friendly and clean, well served drinks. This one staff surly and disinterested. Not a good impression. Door staff professional and courteous.

Found a table right away. Went to bar to get drinks, son in law came to help me with drink, he only came to help as the first drink was poured, and one of bouncers told him to leave the bar (he was helping me with the drinks as I suffer with arthritis, he needed to ask before demanding). The food was excellent. Well every thing just went down the pan. Went to the LADY'S did not expect a MALE member of staff to walk into the LADY'S TOILETS. THERE IS NO SIGNAGE SAYING THAT A MALE WILL CHECK THE TOILETS UNTIL YOU GET TO THE FAR END. I am no prude, but what if a female was adjusting her bra or other female sensitive female area's that HE could have walked into.

In the centre of Nottingham, 2 bars, one downstairs one upstairs. Real ale, lagers, wine and sports. No parking available. It was quiet when we visited. Cheap beer, £1.77 a pint!! (Oct 2023) in the centre of Nottingham!! Typical spoons food, vegan and of options available.

My party of 6 (4 adults 2 children) had a main meal, drink, and dessert. All in all the bill was just over £60. The food and drink were very good for the price. The service was what stood out for us and was above and beyond what we expected. Absolutely fantastic.

Good choice of drinks and shots. Cheaper then most places. Bar staff seemed nice enough.

Another city another Spoons for breakfast. Can honestly say best I've had in a long while. Presentation is everything. Eggs were cooked, albeit not over easy, but prefer them cooked than snotty. Nice and clean

About average for a Spoon. Quite busy but good service. Cheap as chips burger which seemed to have been left on the hot plate to long. Good pint though. In all we got what we paid for although the 6oz burger resembled more of a 3 oz burger

We went in for a quick birthday breakfast at 9am. There were a few people in the pub, but it was deathly silent. The lady behind the bar was polite, and the food was hot, but one of the coffee machines was turned off, and the other one was running low on coffee & it tasted very bitter. Loved the option of having mango chutney with our breakfast next to the ketchup. To try and liven up the mood I asked the bar lady if she could put one of the TVs on, so everyone in there didn’t have to stare blankly at the beige walls. She had to go and ask the manager, who advised they couldn’t turn it on as they were “saving on electricity”. It didn’t seem to bother them that they had all the marketing TVs, the row of fruit machines & enough lights to power a small village on though…

Sat upstairs looking over the Old Market Square. Good views up here. Normal good Wetherspoons service and prices. Downstairs tends to be quite full with drinkers near the front eater towards the back. I prefer upstairs near a window.

The service was terrible. It's not acceptable to order burgers and dessert-serve later and then have the dessert served first. I told the girl that we wanted our burgers first and asked her to take the dessert away. After we finished our burgers, we waited 10 minutes for the dessert. Eventually, we had to go to the bar to cancel the order. Both women were very negative. I will never go to this place again.

One of the worst burgers I’ve ever had and although I was not expecting much for 5 quid and it being a Wetherspoons, it still was laughably bad.

Ordered a small breakfast, egg hardly warm same as sausage and bacon the beans were yet again for 3rd time of eating breakfast here Iv had cold beans, knowing no way have they been heated up. Plate cold also didn’t help. That its now for me 3 strike & out. Not eating here again. Whoever cooks Friday obviously doesn’t give two hoots.

I liked the visit, however, the items in the drinks menu do not match with the ones listed online and that was quite a mess for our group to decide what to go for then! I loved the pitcher we decided to go for anyway! It did taste nice that evening!

Stopped for a quick bite to eat it is what it is. Food was hot and fresh and the bar staff friendly and polite. Waiting staff not helpful at all asked for mayo to be told they don't have any for the lady on the next table to be given a full new bottle. I would point out that the toilets in there absolutely stink and could do with a good deep clean.

The food here is cheap but doesn't mean there standards should drop because of that. Mixed grill I had was only just warm, all the meat was overcooked and dry plus the peas where all dry and like marbles so you can see they had sat under a hot plate for at least 10 minutes plus. Food took 40 minutes to come but it was busy. Based on food alone 2/10

Ordered a toasted bacon sandwich, person taking the order did not say that they didn't do toasted sandwiches. A bacon sandwich was delivered to my table....when questioned regarding the toast it transpires that although they do toast it is too difficult to add bacon. Not a good experience.

Maybe the reduced price beers had brought in extra customers but the bar staff coped well. I didn't sample the food but plenty did and seemed to be enjoying it. The premises were spacious and well lit. I took a seat overlooking Nottingham's famous Old Market Square and had a comfortable visit.

Packed solid and one member of staff on upstairs. Hardly any meals left on menu and this was at 1 o'clock Monday dinnertime. No sauces or condiments but the food was actually OK.. would not eat there again and would definitely avoid at busy times. We would rather spend the extra and eat elsewhere with better service

The staff was rude. I actually didn't understand his accent and procedure. When I asked him to repeat he was so impolite. He asked me which table and I actually didn't know that I have to tell a table number. He just refused to explain about it and was just giving me a look which felt very racist. Later a female staff interrupted and told me to tell a table number. And then he suddenly started talking with the girl next to me. Ignoring me like anything. This incident ruined my whole afternoon. I think the guy's name is Jordan. The female staff was good. I didn't check her name.

Only 1 star as zero or minus 5 was not an option after a 40 min wait was served two cold breakfasts that were sent back to have my friends scrambled eggs replaced with these 30 min later. Not sure what they are more like battered up after a night out than scrambled a congealed mess.

Pleasant central restaurant. Lots of menu choices at reasonable prices. Our order was delivered quickly. Friendly polite staff. Very nice five beans chilli on jacket potato with free soft drink. Paid for a coffee and free refills.

Good service. Great food. Worth a visit if you're in the area 👍

For the bouncer to only allow less than groups of *9 (or at times less, as for the gang of 6 behind us) is extremely disappointing. Rude and univiting, definitely worth a miss if you are out with a group.

Good as far as wetherspoons goes... even better if you get the window seat on a Saturday night! Really friendly bouncers and an extremely friendly (and funny) waiter who's name I didn't catch

This was a lovely pub to drink at during the night, where me and my friend sat on comfortable chairs with slick patterns! It was something unique seeing the staircase's design and the atmosphere was superb, with the tables having cleanliness maintained. The staff were really friendly and served me my drink very quickly, which was satisfying for the time!

Not the greatest experience on a few occasions. Always very busy yet rarely enough staff on. Last time waited over 15 mins at bar only to find half the beers out of stock so gave up. Tables, chairs and floor sticky and filthy. Toilets were actually the highlight! Modern, clean and bright. Ok for a cheap drink before going round town but I wouldn't order food there.

Had lunch here NYE ....pub is dier need of a refurbishment ... food was okay, table hadn't been wiped from the last occupants ( covid!) Had run out of salt and most of the condiments ( sauces) will not be coming back to visit 😑

Shots are good, glad to see they kept the traditional toilet location, however the Ferris wheel view has gone, not spoon's fault but they could of brought their own one

You get what you pay for. Cheap but tasty pub grub with a drink. We were going to theatre after work so needed quick and cheap. We had the pizza, chips and salad to share, a pint of lager and a double Tanqueray g&t for under £20. Staff were friendly and service was fast. Place was packed but we managed to catch someone leaving. Cannot fault it really.
