Good place for dinner, cheap beer with various of choice. Very good atmosphere with modern decoration. This Wetherspoon have his own character and I really enjoy to stay here for chatting with my friends. Very comfortable!

It is what it is... a Spoons right by Trent Bridge Cricket ground. Which on match days, gets rammed! Overall - enjoyed. Some issues - Punk IPA barrel clearly needed changing but newbie lady behind Bar was adamant it didnt (it did!). The Card payment machine kept going down which was frustrating - so ordering via app but then some of their tables aren't displayed as table options! And when its packed inside... good luck! All said and done - decent though. Got a table. Relatively cheap pints of Punk IPA; nachos and halloumi fingers were good (without being great) One of the servers, Ronnie (?, or maybe Rennie?) - she was lovely and v.helpful. RECOMMEND as a Rendezvous point on Matchdays, or after the game

Wetherspoons may have some questionable policies but they certainly look after their properties. Bordering the world famous Trent Bridge Cricket Ground the TBI is clean, the staff are top notch and the prices are good.

Always a lovely place to unwind after a workshift. Meals ordered there have always been nice. Good varied beer selection. Nice staff

I visit here quite regularly, usually for a couple of pints after work. Good prices and never have any trouble. The only annoyance is that a few times the Guinness has not been poured properly due to rushing.

Nice pub the TBI, been coming here usually on match days for fifty years. Although ownership has changed over the years the pub hasn't lost its character. Good choice of wines spirits and beers, good food and friendly efficient staff. Well worth a visit 😁

Nice place, some bar staff a bit ignorant. When I complained that my coffee came out of the machine lukewarm, I was met with rolling eyes from the staff member. Not the most helpful 😕. The food was nice though.

Pathetic experience. I ordered 2 pints of bitter, a double dark unspiced rum & a double gin & tonic. The bill came to £16.21. The barmaid asked what type of rum I wanted, I said dark unspiced. She said what type. I said I don't know what type of unspiced dark rum you serve don't you not know ? The barmaid took my order cashed in my bar bill & then disappeared. I enquired to another member of staff what is happening to my order. I was then met with an aggressive duty manager who refused to fulfill my order informing me I would not be served due to my passive aggressive manner when ordering & her bar maid was in floods of tears upstairs after I placed my order & she took my money. I did not raise my voice when speaking to the manager arguing my case, ignoring other people who wanted to get involved in my discussion. We all left the pub realising any further conversation was futile. I am still waiting for my £16.21 refund & suggest that any bar staff working in this establishment should be properly trained & made fully aware of the products they sell.

A large Wetherspoons pub with many different spaces, a large range of drinks, some quality some cheap and cheerful. Games, a little outdoor space, the usual large menu, friendly staff & in a good location next to the famous cricket ground. Look round corners to see different places to sit

I like the TBI because it is just about the only pub in the area that doesn't have piped music and isn't over run with dogs. It is also very cheap. Could be why it is always busy when other nearby pubs are deserted!

Cheap but terrible staff. Will ignore you waiting to go and chat with their mates. A few years ago it was great but it's really dropped off recently.

It was quite busy as there was a football match on, very disappointed with our meal presentation was the smallest burger iv ever seen ! just a dozen chips , no side dressing of salad. Most people eat with there eyes before enjoy the meal. As a chief in my past I would of made more of an effort.

Delicious burger and chips. The beer is nice too I heard. Great atmosphere and the staff are friendly

My faith in Wetherspoons has been restored. Lovely pint. Great food. Served with a smile.

Very busy day, annual beer festival next door & local football team playing at home. Still provided good service. Understandably beers served in plastic glasses, however good quality ones. Food took about 30 mins which was great considering the amount of people in there

Popped in after visiting the beer festival next door in the cricket ground. Service was just a little slow, but not terrible, ale was in good condition and the temperature of it was just right. All in all, a decent boozer and one of the better "Spoons".

First visit in years. .Menu prices very reasonable. Ideal start or finish pub for visiting National Water Sports Centre or for a walk alongside the River Trent.

Great place for a cheap beer…good venue…but has recently gone down hill as they have less staff, which makes getting a beer hard work…best thing is to get the app and order to your table…

Go there regularly, particularly match dates. Great prices, well looked after beers, huge choice, decent food. Wetherspoons often but unfairly branded as low class hostelries, but overall I think they offer fabulous value.

To be honest with ya, this is the best pub. Could sit in their and complain and laugh at other customers for hours until my journey to West Bridgford town... an additional bonus is the extra sausage.

Very disappointing.....I use weatherspoons quite frequently and I find them consistently good both food and service. However this visit was totally unacceptable.....staff were not rude but not friendly, kind of felt we were an inconvenience. Ordered at our table, drinks took 20 minutes to arrive and food 30 minutes and they were not busy at all infact I was surprised how quiet it was. And then some young lad (with attitude)tried taking our plates before we had finished! Definitely won't be visiting this spoons again....

Food is lovely - had many of their breakfasts. Never enjoyed drinking here because of the lack of music, and the wooden panelling. But it's the place sports watchers go to commentate

It's a good Wetherspoon generally. Beer is OK yet range used to be brilliant. That said I have never had cause to question the quality of cask beer being poured. Perhaps there is just so much great beer available and competition is fierce. Breakfast is still pretty good.

Breakfast on Remembrance Sunday. Busy with ex services ready for parade. Lots of nooks and crannies for indoor seating. Loads of outside seating including some in the back entrance to the cricket ground. Big TV for sports fans to watch games including their own bar

Excellent. Great ales, swift service, good food, keen prices, plenty of room even with the one day cup final playing next door. One of the nicest Wetherspoons I have been in.

All wetherspoons have their own charm, but this one is absolutely lovely. Nice decor that reminds you off days past, but modern. Easily one of the best wetherspoons out there for that. And also the most civil I've been in. Its calm, relaxed, even at peak times. Great pub

😠 Food is absolutely awful. Four of us went last week and all had the Mixed Grill. Sausages were unmistakably reheated from Iceland. Chicken had no texture or taste that would make you think it was actually Chicken. Steak was tasteless bit of leather and one of them was almost completely uncooked. Gam...
