Lamb roast was exceptional. Potatoes roasted to crisp perfection. Yorkshires were crisp. Just the right amount. Would easily come again but make sure you book in advance.

Visited Saturday 18th March 2023 early evening. Not going to lie, I was a little worse for wear by the time I got here so this review probably won't be the best. The pub itself is pretty big and quiet imposing, after entering the door on the right leads to a small room, essentially the 'bar' side, the door on the left leads to the 'lounge' side which is essentially the restaurant. The bar side was very quiet; however, the restaurant side was packed, it seems to be more of a restaurant than a traditional pub. Having said that, there were plenty of people just having a drink. Beer choice is pretty good with some decent cask alongside keg, lager, spirits, wine, soft drinks etc. Staff were friendly and polite, we didn't eat but the food looked great. We'll be back next time we're in Beeston and we'll probably eat there. Edit: Revisited on Monday 17th July for something to eat, had sausage and mash....it was delicious.

Outstanding traditional pub. Great beers, good food, friendly staff and live music. What a pub should be.

Lovely pub. There were lots of food options, more than just your traditional pub meals, and the food was great. The service was a little slow, but not unreasonable given how busy it was and that I visited during peak times! I'd recommend booking in advance if you're a bigger group or want a guaranteed indoor spot. We had to sit outside, but that wasn't an issue as there was shelter and heaters.

This is one of our favourite places for food. The menu has some favourites that are always on and always something new to try too. Really good choice for vegetarians and always excellent beer. 2 starters, 3 mains, and 2 deserts plus 5 drinks came to £90.

Loved this...came here for a Morris dance party... Great place & facilities in the covered yard out back. Slightly disappointed that the baguette didn't come with any garnish or crisps but otherwise food here looks great...will definitely be returning

Great traditional pub next to Beeston Station. So glad to have discovered this place. Arrived from London and had a late lunch, revisited again after a long walk in the wetlands a few days later and had breakfast there on our last day before heading back to London! Friendly staff, amazing menus, seems very popular with the locals. Lots of tables reserved.

Good ale, good food. I've only given it 4 stars because I prefer my pubs to be pubs, rather than semi-pub-restaurants. But that's a prejudice of mine, not meant to dissuade, but more a vote for The Pub (a species under increasing threat). So, if you're looking for a meal and a pint, then this place is ideal.

I've been coming to the Vic for 20 years- and it's so reliably great that I'd recommend it to anyone. It's a proper pub, with guest ales and ciders, lots of changing options on food and a really cosy atmosphere. The bar is dog friendly, they even have dog treats available which is a lovely touch. I would recommend booking ahead for the restaurant especially at the weekend as it's popular. They have a great outside area which was how they kept active in lockdown, but is lovely in the summer. I think with the cost of living they've kept the heating off outside until the pub is full, which is fair. I normally have the Lincolnshire sausage and mash, which you can order large or small, and a pint of Stowford Press cider- I'm a creature of habit and the sausages are fab haha. Lots of vegan/vegetarian/gluten free options are available and the pub is all on one level with a couple of small ramps, so it's pretty accessible.

what's not to love ?! a truly cracking place with great beer choice and large variety of excellent food to eat - plus can vouch for the sandwiches! . Superb setting right next to the Beeston Railway Station (straight off the platform!). Never fails to give me enjoyment!

Nice pub in Beeston, by the train station and the old hotel. Marquee in beer garden so can sit outside if it’s raining, etc. good range of beers and non-alcoholic beers.

Great pub and place to eat out. Sunday Roast was great, gravy and beef very enjoyable! Well worth checking out for the other dishes. Pork and Vegan roast dinner also reported as excellent.

An absolute gem of a place. Booked for Sunday lunch before Cricket at Trent Bridge. Food was great. Tasty, plentiful and good value for money. Drinks were super. Great variety and quality. The service was excellent - hospitality as it should be. Very friendly, courteous and knowledgeable staff.

Overall an enjoyable lunch time experience. The Victoria is a traditional pub which serves quality, tasty and good value food. The menu is varied with some Spanish influence. Good staff and service. Only niggle was parking as local building work made it difficult to park next to the Victoria. However it wasn't a big issue and easy to work around.

Always a favourite for good beers 🍻 and good food fans alike. Booked a table for 3 adults and 1 child. Choice of drinks is endless. The menu that is on the boards in the bar has a lot off choices. 😋 all the food we have had has always been very nice and this was no exception. Now I like my chips 🍟 but this is a chip free zone and to be honest I found it refreshing they're not on the menu. As said so much choice. The staff are very friendly and helpful that is always good 👍 would recommend the "Vic" to all and will continue to do so!

Great Irish music from Kelly's Heroes, lovely atmosphere, very good food, decent red wine - a bit pricey but much better than usual pub wines. Would definitely spend another Sunday afternoon there.

👍 This is such an awesome place with a different vibe! It definitely feels like you’ve stepped into an American diner. The staff is just the friendliest and very accommodating. The food is pretty good and very tasty. I just feel like some dishes are a little bland or dry without the exquisite sauces y...
