A
real
shame
really.
It's
a
lovely
pub
in
a
great
location.
Three
outdoor
areas.
It
overlooks
the
river
trent
and
is
in
an
idyllic
spot!
The
few
times
I've
been
in
recently,
it's
been
a
bit
of
a
shambles.
Getting
drinks
at
the
bar
is
painfully
slow.
There
has
been
a
queue
each
time
I've
been
in.
The
drinks
are
priced
very
reasonably,
though!
One
week,
we
only
ordered
a
couple
of
deserts
on
the
app.
It
took
1.5
hour
for
them
to
arrive
after
repeatedly
querying
at
the
bar.
The
manager
who
eventually
brought
them
out
apologised
and
gave
us
a
refund.
The
next
week
we
ordered
a
lasagne
with
some
sides
and
a
burger.
I
don't
like
to
be
negative,
but
a
fair
and
honest
opinion
is
:
It
was
well
below
par.
For
the
price
(
about
£30
)
the
food
was
terrible.
Not
only
were
the
sides
luke
warm
but
the
mains
were
very
low
quality
and
didn't
look
appetising.
If
the
meal
had
been
£15,
I
would
still
have
been
disappointed.I
won't
eat
here
again.
Also,
there
was
no
toilet
paper
in
the
loos!
I
hope
they
manage
to
turn
this
place
around.
It
could
be
they
are
just
having
a
bad
couple
of
weeks!
Its
a
lovely
pub
with
friendly
staff
and
could
be
great!
For
good
food
and
another
river
view,
I
would
recommend
The
Unicorn.
Ten
minutes
up
the
road.
Edit
:
I
have
tried
several
more
meals
here
and
they
have
improved.
I
have
increased
the
rating
to
reflect
it.
