Good grilled meat restaurant in the city centre. Tasty food and worth the visit. Went for the double grilled chicken in pitta with fries. There’s a table service and you can sit down and wait for food. The chicken was succulent and not too dry. The medium sauce was just about right. The fries were served piping hot. Definitely go if you’re look for a quick inexpensive snack at lunch or dinner.

Didn’t take a photo of anything else other than the halloumi but it was the best halloumi I’ve had. The chicken was lovely! The wedges had so much flavour, they were crispy and delicious. All the food came piping hot and it was a fast delivery too. Perfect comfort food 🥘

Used to be my favourite place to eat in the entire country. I live in Norfolk now and coming home to Nottingham, roosters is first place I visit. But last visit it's gone downhill. Chicken was so dry it was almost ineable, and they've swapped the fries. Just not the same anymore. RIP.

Nice and clean place to eat. Reasonable price. We ordered The Rio Grande and buffalo wings. The chips were good,, the buffalo wings tasted too sour for my liking but maybe just the way it is. The burger bun a bit dry but considering its Halal and a lot of varieties of food to choose,, we will be back to try some different ones.

I love Roosters! The food is absolutely delicious and so flavorful. It is also really good quality. It is like classic fast food but much better, even down to the cutlery! I've been lots of times and the service is delightful. Everyone is really helpful! Highly recommended if you like Nandos but want something cheaper and even tastier.

Been there before and absolutely love their grilled chicken wings and buffalo chicken burger and best of all it’s Halal!

Informed the server that I had an allergy to both egg and tomato. The server went through the allergy list and advised that the sauces had egg in them. Ordered a plain beef wrap to be safe. After taking a few bites, I realised the wrap contained mayonnaise which then followed with me being very ill. This mistake may seem simple but could have a lethal consequence.

I recently visited Roosters and I was very impressed with the food and service. The chicken was cooked perfectly and was incredibly juicy and flavorful🤤. The sides were also delicious, and I especially enjoyed the rice. The service was friendly and efficient👍. Overall, I had a great experience at Roosters. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the prices were reasonable. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a good piri piri chicken meal.

Let's be honest everyone loves Roosters. I always go for the chicken strips or thighs and unlike NANDOS where the spice and flavour level are NON-EXISTENT, Roosters pulls no punches with the FLAVOUR and SPICE level. Chips are good. Value for money is pretty good for what u get. Overall more than deserving of 5 stars. Definitely skip Nando's and come here instead.

Our favourite chicken place in nottingham city centre! Very welcoming, always a nice atmosphere. Food always on point. We love the wings, the strips and the chicken pitta! Recommend the platters! All the family young and grown can always agree to eat here and enjoy it every time. Highly recommend.

Came for the first time with my son after hearing it’s the best in Nottingham. I was given cold chicken and microwaved rice which was crunchy. Very disappointing. See the picture how the food served,Would not recommend and won’t be back

Halal food in the heart of Nottingham centre! Delicious food (we ordered the platter of 12 Buffalo Wings with Lebanese sauce for £16ish & 4 tubs of Spicy Rice £2.50ish each), and was relatively quick to takeaway. Not that much people when we came (5PM), and staff service was good 👍 Will definitely come back to visit again!

The food was so delicious, I enjoyed it alot. They have variety of flavours and the chicken was so tasty and well seasoned. The menu is good and the prices as well. The staff were welcoming and friendly. They have a prayer room for muslims in the ground floor. May Allah bless them.

Looking for gluten free food in a hurry, this was the 4th or 5th place we tried , the server was extremely helpful,friendly and welcoming. Ordered a chicken strips platter, the food was tasty, the sides , mixed salad and chips, could have been a little bigger for the price, and there could have been a little less sauce. Extra points for gherkins in the salad😊 , minus points for serving on a slate😐.

Very nice, flavourful food. Their are plenty of options, and the speed and service is satisfactory.good value for money and decent portion sizes. No parking given that it is city centre based and the toilets are downstairs for any persons with access issues. Great alternative to Nandos which is only a few doors away, come here instead, you won't regret it.

Going here since it opened. Place has badly fell off. If you want food that is overpriced and causes acid reflux and other issues go and eat here.

Still the best halal grilled chicken place in Notts Been coming here for a decade. Perfectly grilled chicken every time. Recommend the Mexican sauce/marinade. Coleslaw is delicious too. Side should be included with whole chicken order. Should offer fresh naan/bread on menu. Friendly decent service. Pray area downstairs. Mens toilet needs to be cleaned more often though.

Alhamdullah. Fantastic place for Halal food and a beautiful space for Muslims prayers. Heartiest prayer for the owner who creates such a wonderful place for Pray.

Haven't been in here since lockdown and used to use it religiously. Returned today and glad to say despite inflation things are still acceptably priced with the restaurant looking cleaner/newer than ever. Friendly staff as always ....chicken is banging as always....perk of the week.

Waited ages for food,which was not great.And the girl serving had really bad attitude. Won't be going back. Peri peri at Beechdale is amazing

Excellent food. Good juicy chicken. Service confusing. Seating at front seemed tired. No hand sanitiser and serviettes in sight Downstairs toilets not signposted. Once there, hygiene lacking, no soap. Clearly the ablution facilities are not maintained regularly. A little disappointing in these post-Covid days.

Was looking forward for the meal...there was no veg alternatives so ended up just having some fries and corn on cob. My partner ordered chicken which was not up to the mark. Service was good though.
